"So care to explain what you have been up to the last week since we left you?" Inari asks me after we finish eating.

I rub my stomach still quite hungry since I had to share. I look toward my kitchen and sigh. Most of the food probably went bad.

"Well do you want the short version or the annoyingly long one that I will probably end up glossing over anyway?" I reply.

Both of their eyes twitch at my response but in my defense I am still tired as shit. My mental fatigue was starting to really aggravate me and my little nap had done little to ease it.

Sighing the girls share a look then turn back to me. "Just give as much info as you can Ash. There is no need to hold back with us/" Alita says

"Pretty sure you are misunderstanding something but whatever I just want to sleep so lets get this over with."

So I filled them in on practically everything that happened. I left out all the parts where my elements were involved. I am absolutely sure at this point that my elements are entirely original and it would be bad if certain things came to light.

By the time I finished both girls eyes were ready to burst from their sockets. They stare at me in disbelief. I had to wave my hand in front of their face after sitting like that for a few minutes. 

"Your telling us you not only went to Cher Fucking Nobyl, you fought and trapped an honest to God God!" Inari screamed.

"Yea pretty much. I mean the main purpose was getting the annoying ass twins but hey at least I got an awesome God Pup out of it."

Inari just stared at me like I was insane. Alita on the other hand, had an expression of expectation and seemed to be bouncing in her seat.

"What?" I ask

"Show me." She replies.

"Show you what?" I tease as I am sure what she wants now.

"Ash I swear to my lord if you don't show me I will beat you." She threatens me.

I laugh and stand up. "Ok here goes."

I then release my wings. A glow shines throughout the apartment then settles down and my wings are there. A brilliant white that shines with energy.

Inari looks impressed but Alita her eyes were filled with more joy than I have ever seen before. She shoots up and starts inspecting my wings.

"They are beautiful! For so long I was annoyed because you were turning more and more fox like that I thought you would never get them! Now though I am finally even!" She shouts in joy and then shoots a look at Inari that I couldn't figure out.

Not even my aura sight could show me what was going on. Inari snorts and turns away and mumbles something my hearing couldn't pick up.

The hell? My powers on the fritz? I am so confused. What did she mean by even anyway? 

Seeing my confused face the girls just smile and say not to worry about it. But that never works in fact that make men worry even more.

"So I am still not sure on this did you start Chernobyl or did you make it less worse?" Inari asks.

Before I could answer Ciar does. "Master slowed down the ritual. You see originally I was to be the sacrifice. With my lineage Abyss would get all my powers and a body young and powerful enough to mould into whatever shape he wished. However since master threw a human body in Abyss was only able to possess the body and make minor changes. Abyss like his minions needs young and strong bodies to achieve a greater effect. An adults mind and body has too many deficiencies thus making a body like mine perfect I am descended from two pantheons and have considerable power for my age."

"I see but for that man to be the cause of that event.... The gods are going to be upset when they find out that Abyss has been freed from his prison for twenty years." Alita says.

"That reminds me Ash how is it you are able to make black ice? That should only be possible with one of the elements at least at 30 percent mastery." Inari asks.

"Well I may have made some improvements in Darkness." I say.

"You are one hell of a genius. If only you had four or five tails. There wouldn't be a kitsune who could match you unless they had a mastered element. Black ice is amongst the strongest and hardest of all the element fusions. The darkness element is the perfect element for support as it is able to boost an element. While light is only able to apply itself as a form of cleansing element or attack type. While they are opposing elements Darkness has far more versatility. With your mind you will crush any opponent that you come across once you master it." Inari says.

I just shrug I honestly don't care about power. I don't owe any more goddess's favors so shit like Chernobyl won't happen EVER AGAIN! Once I get everything settled I am going to ground erasing all trace of myself and relaxing for the next thousand years or so.

Seeing my lack of enthusiasm Inari and Alita frown. "You do plan on training still right?" Alita asks

I see where this headed and hurry to change the subject. "So my mother tried to break in apparently, were you two here?"

They were frowning at the change but nodded. "Ok so did she see you?"

They shook their heads no. I let out a quick sigh of relief. Which lasted until Inari opened her mouth.

"She didn't see us but she was getting annoying so I blasted her with a bolt of lighting. After that she stopped."

I froze in horror. "Yo-you di-did WHAT!?"

"What? She lived. I mean she does have the strength and abilities of a demi-god. Oh yea after we got our full powers back we found out your mother was lying about her real strength. She is absurdly powerful. Same goes for your aunt and uncle." Inari says. Alita nods in response.

I was far more terrified at that moment than any other in my life. I turned to Ciar picked her up and broke man lesson 22 yet again I cried while hugging her. 

"Master whats wrong!?" Ciar asks in alarm.

"Master is going to probably not live much longer pup." I sobbed.

"Is master that terrified of his mother? Is she that strong? With the two of us we should be able to take her quite easily afterall master was able to fight and trap a god." Ciar asks innocently.

I pat my pup. "Pup I am going to tell you something extremely important. Man lesson Number one: You will never win against your mother, wife, mother in law, or grandmother. No matter what you do you still lose. Plus theres the fact that due to my childhood I am powerless against her. In this world I have a list of people that scare me. No matter how strong I get my first instinct to is run and if I can't beg and cower."

"A list?" All the girls ask.

"Yea I am terrified of quite a few people comes with growing up a nerd. My mom ranks second followed by Aunt Sophie in third."

"Who is first."

"Someone of great evil and power. A person despite my greatest efforts has defeated me time and time again. In my younger life she was an absolute constant in my younger life and whenever I saw her I was stricken with fear and tried to escape repeatedly to no avail. Now that I know more about things some stuff is explained but I came to the point that mentally she wasn't real at least when it's not a holiday." I saw while looking off at nothing a dead expression on my face.

"You mentally think of this person as fake? Who could be so terrifying that you would go that far?" Alita asks.

"My-

I am cut off as my doorbell rings. The girls look annoyed at the interruption but the guards wouldn't bother us without a good reason so I got up to check what was going on.

I look at the camera and saw it was just one guard standing there so I opened the door and he fell face first on the floor. Shocked I looked around and saw all my security taken out.

What the fuc-

"Hello honey." My body goes cold and the primitive instinct to run attacks my brain in full force. Out from the shadows walks four people all incredibly pissed off. Three of which are my top three that I am terrified of.

I slam my door shut and bolt into the living room. "Ciar! We need to run! Shit just got seriously bad!"

"What going on!?" Startled the girls ask me.

"No time! We need to move now! You girls can stay or escape regardless you will be fine but we need to go!" I grab Ciar and hit my powers at full. I unleash my wings and charge my balcony.

"Now is that how you respond after not seeing me for so long?" 

I ignore the voice that saps my strength with every word. Trying to get away before the worst happens.

"*Sigh* Must you be so difficult?"

A kick pops out of nowhere and slams into my balls. I go down hard. Clutching my testicles praying that they heal right I turn up and look at the person who terrifies me more than any other person.

"Now why don't you give granny a hug?"
