The reason I called the past four volumes “a prologue” in the afterword of volume 4 was due to the fact that, until this volume, our MC did not have full control of his own affairs. Everything was decided for him in advance by his step father. He also did not have any money and therefore no one was working under him.

Now that he has Laufeld, he can truly live his own life, perhaps not the way he envisioned but at least he will have far more leeway.

Also, please note that characters featured in character sheets received updated arts. They needed updating since they are growing up. These are found in epub / PDF versions.

So far, arts found in this story have been AI-generated. But the airship design found in volume 5 was actually created in Blender application. I was left with no choice but to create the design in Blender since AI generation was creating way too fancy airship designs. I think it came out okay-ish. I do have some knowhow with 3D modeling and might end up designing characters in 3D. This is something I’ve already been doing with another story of mine (Last Stand). The reason I am sticking with AI images is due to the turnout speed of this story. Creating my own art takes time, sometimes over a week and, since I am releasing a chapter two times a week usually, there hasn’t been enough time to create my own art for it.

Anyway, I hope to see you in volume 6. The next volume will continue on with the airship and how it changes their world.
