CHAPTER 9 - W?at h?v? yo? do?e t? m?
"Beneath me lies a world unforgiving,
Treacherous paths I've walked for years,
Only to discover sadness and sorrow,
But I remember someone who was there for me.
Someone who was willing to talk,
Who gave me comfort when I needed it most,
In that dark and lonely place.
They were a shining light that helped me cope.
Now I hold onto that memory,
As I continue to journey on,
Knowing that no one will be the same as them,
But their kindness and love will forever live on."
I suddenly lunge into a seating position on my bed, gasping for air as I emerge from a dark nightmare.
My heart races as I try to shake off the unsettling feeling that lingers. I glance around the room, struggling to discern anything in the pitch-black darkness.
It must be the middle of the night, or perhaps very early in the morning.
As I get up from my bed, my bare feet feel the cool hardwood floor beneath them.
I take a moment to collect myself and let my eyes adjust to the dim light filtering in from the window.
That's when I notice Emma's bed is empty. My stomach churns with worry. She's always here, in her bed, at this time of the night.
"Weird," I mumble to myself, feeling a sudden sense of unease.
I hesitantly make my way to the door, heart still racing. I turn the handle slowly, trying not to make a sound, and step out into the hallway.
The wooden floorboards creak beneath my feet, but I hear nothing else. It's so quiet, it's eerie.
I decide to go for a walk, to calm my nerves and find Emma. As I make my way down the hallway, I can't shake off the feeling that something is off.
The air is thick with a sense of foreboding, and I can't help but wonder what strange things may be lurking in the shadows of this silent night.
As I walk around the academy, I can't seem to find Emma. I check all the usual spots - the training grounds, the cafeteria, the courtyard - but there's no sign of her.
Panic starts to rise in my chest, and I try to calm myself down, telling myself that she probably just went for a walk or got up early to do some studying.
After a hour of walking i get back to my dorm room.
As i look around i see Emma back in her bed, sleeping soundly.
As I watch Emma sleeping peacefully in her bed, I can't help but wonder why she left in the first place.
Did I just happen not to see her? Or did she purposely leave without waking me?
The more I think about it, the more I feel uneasy. What if something had happened to her?
What if she had been hurt or attacked while I was asleep? The posibilities swirl around in my mind, and I can't shake off the feeling that something is not right.
I decide to try and get some sleep, but my mind is racing. Every sound in the dorm room - the rustling of the sheets,
the creaking of the floorboards - seems amplified, and I can't help but listen for any sign of danger.
Finally, exhaustion takes over, and I drift off into a fitful sleep. But my dreams are haunted by strange, unsettling visions -
dark figure lurking in the shadows, strange whispers echoing in my ears.
When I wake up, I'm more tired than I was before. The events of the night have left me feeling drained, my mind still racing with unanswered questions.
I jump from my bed and immediately head to Emma's bed, hoping to find her sleeping soundly as she was the night before.
But to my surprise, the bed is empty again. Panic rises in my chest once more, and I feel a cold sweat breaking out on my forehead.
I check the bathroom, the closet, and even under the bed - nothing.
I wonder if she's already started her training, or if she's gone off somewhere without telling me.
But something feels off. It's not like Emma to disappear like this, especially without saying a word.
As I put on my clothes, I feel a strange unease settling over me. I scan the room for any signs of danger,
but there's nothing out of the ordinary. The curtains flutter softly in the breeze, and a shaft of sunlight streams in through the window. It's a beautiful day, but I can't shake off the feeling that something is wrong.
I decide to head out and look for Emma, hoping to find her at the training grounds or the dining hall.
But as I step out into the hallway, I realize that there's a strange hush in the air. The usual sounds of chatter and laughter are missing, replaced by an eerie silence that seems to stretch on forever.

As I arrive on the training grounds, I do not see anyone. It feels as if I am alone at this academy.
The usual bustle of students and trainers is missing, replaced by a deserted silence that seems to stretch on forever.
I start to train by myself, hoping that after some time someone would arrive. But hours on end pass, and no one shows up.
The sun starts to settle down, casting long shadows across the grounds.
The unease that has been simmering in my chest all day starts to grow, and I can't help but feel that something is deeply wrong.
I decide to head back to the dorm room, hoping to find some answers there.
But as I walk through the deserted halls, I can't shake off the feeling that I'm being watched. Every shadow seems to hold a hidden threat, every door a potential danger.
I quicken my pace, my heart beating faster and faster with each step.
When I finally reach the dorm room, I find it just as I left it - empty, silent, and still. But as I turn to leave, I hear a faint whisper behind me, so quiet I almost miss it.
"Help me."
I spin around, but there's no one there. The whisper echoes through the empty halls, chilling me to the bone.
I start walking down the hall, trying to find the source of the whisper. But the academy is still silent, as if it's holding its breath, waiting for something to happen.
As I mindlessly walk around the academy, I notice a strange change outside. The sky has turned pitch black, and the stars are shining with an eerie intensity. The moon hangs low,
casting long shadows across the ground. But the strangest thing of all is that everything beyond the academy grounds has disappeared, as if it never existed.
It's as if the academy is the only thing that still exists in the world.
I feel a cold sweat breaking out on my forehead as I realize that I'm trapped here, alone and isolated from the rest of the world. I try to push the thought away,
telling myself that this is just a nightmare, that I'll wake up any moment now.
But as I turn to head back to the dorm room, a faint glow catches my eye. It's coming from the end of the hall, where the stairs lead up to the roof.
I feel a strange pull, a deep curiosity that I can't ignore. Against my better judgment, I start to walk towards the light, my heart pounding with fear.
As I walk towards the stairs, the lights in the hall behind me start to slowly fade away, one by one. I hurry my steps, my heart beating faster with each passing moment.
When I finally reach the roof, I pause for a moment to catch my breath. The figure standing in front of me is shrouded in darkness,
as if it's made of shadows and mist. I can't see who or what it is, but I feel a sense of foreboding wash over me.
I take a step forward, my hand reaching out tentatively. "Who are you?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
The figure doesn't answer, but as I take another step forward, I see something glint in the darkness - a pair of glowing eyes,
staring back at me with a fierce intensity.
I freeze, my heart hammering in my chest. I want to turn and run, to get as far away from this place as possible.
But something holds me back, for some reason i cant turn away.
"Finally" the figure says in a female voice.
I look at it to see it turn away from me.
"Who are you ?" I ask trembling with fear.
The figure doesn't answer my question, but instead turns away from me and walks towards the edge of the roof. I can see her now - she's a woman,
dressed in dark, flowing robes that seem to ripple in the wind. Her hair is long and white, and her skin is pale as the moon.
I take a step forward, hesitant but curious.
"Who are you?" I ask again, my voice a little more steady this time.
The woman doesn't answer, but instead spreads her arms wide and looks up at the sky.
I follow her gaze and see that the stars are pulsing with an otherworldly light, casting strange shadows across the roof.
"What's happening?" I ask, my fear starting to give way to a sense of wonder.
The woman turns to look at me, her eyes glowing with an intensity that makes my skin crawl.
"The end is near," she says in a voice that seems to come from everywhere and nowhere at once.
"The end of this world, and the beginning of a new one."
I feel a cold shiver run down my spine as her words sink in.
"What do you mean?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I've seen it too many times to count," the woman said, her voice dripping with contempt.
"You, right now, are weak and pathetic." Her words stung me, and I braced myself for whatever was to come next.
Without warning, the woman turned around to face me, her eyes fixated on me.
I watched in horror as she created a glowing orb in her hand, which she then launched at me.
Suddenly, I found myself unable to move as the orb approached me. Fear took hold of me as I waited for the impact.
As the orb made contact with my body, I felt an intense surge of energy coursing through me.
It was like a million needles piercing my skin, and I cried out in agony as I crumpled to the ground, clutching my chest.
Through the haze of pain, I could see the woman's silhouette looming over me.
I struggled to catch my breath as I tried to make sense of what had just happened. Who was this woman, and what had she done to me?
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME ?!" i cry out in agony

But the woman doesn't answer. Instead, she turns back towards the sky and begins to chant in a language I've never heard before. The stars pulse brighter and brighter, until the light is blinding, and I have to shield my eyes.
And then, all at once, everything goes dark.
