Jack looked at King Wolf's corpse for a while and took a deep breath.
He was starting to realize that he was making mistakes about certain things.
The life-threatening situations he had encountered since he set out and escaped were many.
He didn't know what to do if he came across a malevolent and powerful creature or soul user.
In such a situation, all he could do was beg not to die.
"When I thought about it now, when I asked for directions, it made more sense not to kill that group that was disrespecting me."
"I think it's special abilities that I've just found and started using."
"It affects my personality in a bad way."
Jack used the Oscal Soul Blade ability to amputate one leg of King Wolf and set off.
"So this is the Deep Night Forest."
"The confidence I had dropped a lot until I got here."
"But as long as I'm careful and use my skills wisely, there shouldn't be a problem."
Jack pushed himself forward and entered the Deep Night Forest.
The forest was strange and had an uncomfortable feeling. It was as if he had not entered a forest but through the mouth of a wild animal.

The sounds of birds chipping had gone, and the air in which he had felt peaceful had been replaced by a deep gloom.
Jack took deep breaths and didn't stop focusing. Tall shrubs and trees were beautiful hiding places for creatures looking to make a surprise attack.
"Stay calm and focused."
"Direct your soul energy to defend and explore the environment."
As Jack continued walking, he heard a scream.and quick movement behind him.
"Shrieeeeeeeeeeeeeekk"
"I can see you!"
Jack whispered, and in his right hand he formed the Oscal Soul Blade, and in a fast and agile motion, he turned around and swung his sword!
"Thumps!"
The creature had fallen to the ground, and blue blood was gushing out of the body that had been divided in two.
"A bat-type creature."
Jack realized that the creature that attacked him was a bat.
But compared to a normal bat, the size of this creature he saw was more than a meter.
"Most likely, the spirit energy I had could completely protect me against the attack of this creature."
"But I still think it's good to be careful."
Jack thought about it, and after one more look at the bat split in two, his face took on a slightly disgusting appearance, so he continued on his way.
A few hours later, the two people paused slightly and took a deep breath.
"Night Bat was killed in a single attack."
"It's not hard to see that this person is a soul user."
The young, silver-haired woman spoke.
Her red-haired friend beside her focused deeply on the bat's body split in two.
"You're right. I don't believe he's said his goodbyes.
"The category of this soul user is most likely fighter or mystic; I don't know if he has a purpose or not."
"This person may be passing through here."
The silver-haired woman disagreed with her friend.
"I think it's a hard guess that he or she is just passing."
"Why would a soul user want to make a reality out of the Deep Night Forest alone?"
"This is a very dangerous situation after all."
The red-haired woman squatted and spoke after touching the bat with her finger.
"There are quite strange people among soul users."
"I don't think we're in a position to understand who wants what."
