Grimor takes a deep breath and feels the pressure.
He slowly takes a sip from his tea as he looks at the two men in front of him.
"I need to be careful."
"These two men come to his post, where he stays if he is not actively protecting the Aristol family."
They said that they are looking for a certain soul user; they do not have a name, but they know that the person they are looking for must be at least an adept-level soul user.
After thinking for some time, Grimor answers.
"I graduated from Destiny after studying for four years."
"Other than in soul college, I have not had any contact with an adept-level soul user and have never met with one of them."
Ander and Nelson look at each other and then let out cold breaths.
"There is no reason for him to lie, and I don't think he is lying at all."
They both know that the man in front of them is not lying at all.
They do not need any kind of special ability to understand something like this.
Adept-Level Soul Users are rare in small towns like Bluebird Town; in medium-sized cities, there are only fifty to one hundred adept-level soul users; and only in large cities and capitals like Avia City do the numbers exceed a thousand, if not ten thousand.
Anderson then speaks.
"It seems like other than hiring a mystic with the ability to track down targets, we have no other choice."
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Nelson nods and then speaks.
"We need to complete our mission before we go and seek revenge." You know why we are here.
Anderson smiles and then gets up.
"Thank you, Mister Gremor; if you hear anything, do tell us."
Gremor gets up from his seat, showing the warmest smile.
"Of course, anything I hear or see."
"I will let you guys know."
Ten minutes later, Anderson and Nelson leave the post of Gremor and later take a full breath.
"I felt like I was about to be crushed; the pressure and aura they give off is not something people should experience."
Gremor is no fool. He knew that both of these men are adept-level soul users, and their soul energy puts enough pressure on them to make them feel weak.
The gap between a peak-level beginner and an adept-level user is far too wide.
Ander and Nelson leave the post and go straight into the tavern named "The Hanged Widow."
The majority of Bluebird Town's commoners and people ate and drank at the Hanged Widow tavern.
This was the tavern where a mysterious adept-level soul user and friends of Anderson and Nelson looked at each other.
Nelson begins to speak after they have sat down and ordered two beers.
"So, we have a total of fifteen star stones in our hands, ten of which would be required to pay for vengeance."
Anderson nodded.
"Yeah, but after we complete our mission."
"We will be gaining enough funds to have no problem paying for it."
Nelson smiles, finishes the whole beer in one gulp, and then speaks.
"So, basically, the plan is to complete the mission, find the murderer of our friends, and take our revenge."
Anderson confirms.
"Yeah, that is pretty much it."
