As evening casts her dusky gown, when the air becomes fresh and restful, the time of joyful reflection has arrived.

Reading an introductory picture book intended for school children I heard distracting sounds of heavy footsteps coming from outside of the studying room.

Opening the door what greeted me was an odd-looking trio of a horned giantess, a smiling figure sculpted like a Greek god, and the petite miss Wednesday all looking serious. Resolved to reshape the peaks and pits, turning over a new page in their lives.

Seeing them like that I thought they were preparing for war or something like that. I mean do they have to be this furious talking with me?

Seeing me the awkwardly smiling Alexie said:

"Great, since you are here, let's go to the main hall. We are going to have a long talk tonight, so please bring tea and biscuits to the main hall Peggy. "

Which for some unknown reason caused both aunt and mom to look puzzled.

As I was thinking about why aunt was here as well I noticed that we were already in the hall. While seeing the visible tension in the air, mainly between Wednesday and Mom. After a few minutes of staring down between the two, Alexie tried to break down the awkward silence winking at me, he said:

"Alright please stop it you two. Let's get our misunderstanding over with before continuing with Jimmy's issue. You are scaring jimmy."

Ava raised her voice while saying;

"Jimmy wasn't supposed to be here when talking about your disgusting adulterous acts."

Hearing her, Alexie denied:

"Yes at first I also thought it was too soon for Alexie to get involved with this sort of matter. However, you all know how smart he is, sooner or later he would figure things out by himself, and I didn't want us to repeat the same mistake of underestimating him."

Nodding her head, then the youthful-looking Wednesday also sat beside me. Saying:

"I also agree on that, I believe jimmy should know about our relationship since I don't want him to hate us later when he found it out by himself."

Looking at my enraged and redder-than-normal mother and hearing this, I now understood Alexie's ingenious plan of using me as a shield in this muddy situation.

Wednesday then went on to emotionally say :

"Adding to that I am neither Adulterous nor disgusting. When this whole thing started you two aren't married yet. And rather it's Alexie that is disgusting since he was the one who initiated the whole thing by Assaulted me on the expedition ship 8 years ago."

Saying her piece Wednesday then quieted down. Looking back at mom I could see her go through 5 stages of grief, a myriad of emotions could be seen on her face.

After what felt like an eternity, she seemed to calm down, breaking the chilling silence by saying :

"As much as I don't want to agree with you, but you are correct. Since I found out that you two were sleeping together last year, I was trying to hypnotize myself. Constantly self-suggesting that you were the one who was in wrong Wednesday. Looking back at it, it was both of you who were in the wrong. You for keeping it a secret and Alexie the scum for initiating and continuing it."

Hearing this I saw Alexie the scum trying to come up with a rebuttal and Wednesday looking guilty and dejected. Standing up and bowing down Wednesday then said :

"You are 100 percent correct Ava. I was also in the wrong for betraying my best friend in the past few years even though you always showed me kindness I hated how strong you were, jealous that you were going to marry into nobility, and the last straw was when Alexie assaulted me. Then I lost sight of myself and my goals for a few years, regretting my decisions just very recently. I know that we can't go back to being what we had before, but I beg of you to forgive me, for hurting you and your trust. I promise that I will make it up to you if you can give me another chance."

Hearing what Wednesday just said, Ava was taken aback. Mom probably never imagined that Wednesday would have apologized like this since this is pretty out of character for her.

Seeing that the vibes were starting to get better. Alexie wanted to make good use of the positive momentum by enthusiastically saying:

"Oh, my dearests I kne..."

But without giving him a chance both mom and aunt glared at him and yelled loudly:

"YOU SHUT UP"

This was continued by both of them pouncing at Alexie, Wednesday kicking him in the family jewels, and Mom taking advantage of his sudden nut pain to give him a beautifully done german suplex. Not yet satisfied then they went on kicking Alexie while he was wriggling with pain on the ground.

Seeing that the opportunity was there, I also joined them by kicking my dearest father in the face messing up his fabulous mustache.

After "calming down" the situation and a rather long tea break. I could see both mom and aunty sitting next to each other, talking and giggling like two young girls.

Seeing that Alexie was coming back all bandaged up and without his iconic mustache, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Which was then continued with him punching me on the head and garnishing his teeth:

"You brat, do you think I didn't notice you kicking me and messing up my beard?"

Hearing the debacle mom and Wednesday came in as well. Seeing the bump on my head, they both slapped the back of Alexie's head, bringing tears of joy to my eyes. Ava then said:

"Hey, you scum why are you beating our kid. If you are not satisfied yet, we could go for another round of beating ?"

Hearing her wife's threatening words, all Alexie could do was cry inside, and he had no one but himself to blame. In the first palace, why he had to be such a scummy person, aiming his beastly desires at mom's best friend, disturbing their beautiful friendship?

Looking at both Alexie and Wednesday, Ava then went on to say:

"So what now? Do you still want to remain in that sort of relationship? I don't want to be kept in the dark no more. So you better tell me right now, to set the appropriate boundaries once and for all."

Aunt went on to say;

"Actually I and Alex haven't been doing that sort of stuff since Jimmy's birth. Originally I only came to Prosopon town because of my jealousy and attachment to you, having no better options at that time."

Taking a deep breath, she then said:

"However, since spending the last few years in this here. I've grown attached to spending time with you Ava. As well as learning to enjoy my life in this peaceful town and job."

Looking at Alexie then aunty said:

"And even though I hate to say this, I've also come to love Alexie despite him being a lecherous scum. So if you can see it in yourself to give me chance, I would be forever grateful to you Ava. "

Surprised by Wednesday's words and looking at moms expression, it was obvious that, mom might have already considered this scenario. Mom looked at a dazed Alexie and then said:

"What do you think Alexie? Do you also agree with what Wednesday said?"

Facing these trap-like questions. Alexie looked distressed, cause whatever he said next could be the wrong answer. After a few minutes, Alexie seemed to have gathered his courage. So he said:

"Um... my dearest love, I was wrong for doing what I did to Wednesday back in the clovers Expeditionary team. Running her life in the process, so I would like to take responsibility for my past action if you allow it."

Hearing that long sigh from mom, I knew that she was going to agree. After a few tense minutes of waiting, she looked Wednesday in the eyes, then said:

"You two suck, leaving everything to me. In the first place, I Ain't a stingy woman, especially to my good sister. The sole reason that I was mad was that you guys tried to hide it from me. Making me feel like a fool when I found out."

Turning around from the surprised Wednesday to sneer at Alexie's celebrating face.

"Secondly you are from the high and noble Armstrong family. So it's normal for you guys to have a harem of mistresses, and I really understand you oh my dearest husband. Back in the day I also had my fair share of fun with those strong and big giants."

Hearing this Alexie was feeling conflicted, about whether to feel jealous or happy. But seeing the sneering Ava, the laughing jimmy, and the smiling Wednesday, he put away the useless jealousy. Etching this current moment to his mind, swearing to protect this disproportioned trio.
