Going through a myriad of emotions, while falling from the second floor of Jimmy's new house. You could see a serious, excited, and melancholic look plastered all over this giant kid's face as if he was a philosopher going through the secrets of creation. Seemingly unbothered by the fact that he is falling from a rather tall building with bird dung stuck all over his head and face.
Am I sober now?
Is it true?
Is one piece truly real?
Is Schrödinger observer effect a fact?
Or have I been reduced to a one or two-dimensional being?
Unbeknownst to jimmy going through a 1001 question in his head, you could hear a roar of unprecedented might coming from the house accompanied by a huge oni jumping from the house's 2nd floor.
Let us turn back time a bit, for understanding the sequence of events leading to this precarious life and death situation.
........
The afternoon sun bathed the buildings in its warm light. While Jimmy's new family was carrying him to his new home, kissing and showing affection to their child. Jimmy ignoring his new parents, was busy with something which was keenly observing his surroundings.
From what I've gathered, the population here is a mixture of onies and normal-looking humans, and it seems that we live in a coastal town since there is a beach and a significant body of water, which is most likely open water, hence the salty smell all over the town.
Focusing on the noises and signboards, the language sound like an odd mixture of Japanese, Latin, and Arabic but further observation and learning are needed to make sure.
Bringing my attention back to my parents, they seem like very caring and kind people despite their hulking builds.
Especially my mother, just being in her kind embrace arouses a sense of bonding and defenselessness in my heart. This leaves me confused since I still have the memories and affection that I had and have from my previous family.
Perhaps it might be a temporary hormonal thing, and since I am a newborn baby I have the physiological and psychological need of being taken care of.
Or maybe thinking about it in a spiritual way, I might have destroyed or forcefully mixed with the original soul of this body.
Noticing his son's expression of guilt on his adorable face, slightly weirded out Alexie, because a newborn is not supposed to make a face like that at all. Trying to make his son feel better Alexie started making funny faces.
While Alexie was making a fool of himself, Ava was thinking about the sad news that they have heard from doctor Gerbil, informing her that the chances that she would be able to give birth to another child is pretty slim.
Apparently, the complication and the unexpectedly huge size of jimmy caused great trauma to her reproduction system.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Exhaling loudly, Ava cheered up after noticing the father and son duo grinning wildly while making a fool of themselves.
Well... it doesn't matter at this point, since we already have jimmy here with us. Forcing a smile Ava snatched Jimmy from Alexi's huge arms while kissing him on the forehead and walking toward a red carriage waiting for them at the entrance of the clinic.
Waking up I noticed a huge mansion in front of us, a plain-looking red-haired dressed like a maid standing like a statue at the door seemingly waiting to welcome us.
The maid took me to her embrace and said the only word that I knew here which was my name, thus taking me to god knows where.
While the red-haired woman was taking me away upstairs, I heard an argument coming which sounded to be from my parents making me think back to their sad looks in the clinic.
.......
The fields were parsley green, and a carnival of scents blew in the air which was a sign of spring approaching.
Being born in early autumn a few months have passed since I have come to this world.
Thanks to my genius, hard work, and previous life memories, I've already learned to speak for the most part and even started learning the alphabet and writing from my bratty private tutor Miss Wednesday, only six months old.
And yes, I've hit the jackpot of life or rather I was born into a filthy rich family.
Alexie owns a shipyard repairing and building all sorts of boats and ships, and my dear mom is a retired archeologist founding a lot of fortune in her younger adventuring days.
I got a better spawn point in this life compared to the slightly below-average life quality that I used to have previously. Meaning that I could be more daring, and adventurous. Enjoying life to a greater extent since my family will have the capital to support my plans.
Now that I've learned the local tongue, it's time to start focusing on reading and writing, but there lies the problem of being too hasty and suspicious. Because I will be just six months old in a few days.
Sigh.... crawling on the ground, gazing from my room's window, at the lushes green backyard, and the stable with several huge horses outside. I just noticed the super clean skies, realizing that I've never seen an automobile while being here.
Contemplating my current limitations and trying to think of my next steps very carefully to not arouse suspicion, by attempting to read and write especially since I've just learned how to move using all four of my limbs.
I am in a real pinch now, since I am not fully aware of the rules and norms of society and the common sense of the world as a whole.
Plus it doesn't help that my parents and the washboard tutor miss Wednesday, are not willing to fully indulge me in my continued line of questioning on the world and its tiniest mundane details.
Even though I already know of the existence of the onis and humans with different skin tones and variations, I am not sure if that is the norm outside this town.
I would say the same about the ridiculous strength of my parents, easily lifting objects weighing several tones., or even the existence of supernatural powers.
On several occasions, I've seen our butler, who was also the carriage driver bringing us back home from the hospital, communicating with animals as if he was talking to a fully intelligent person. Imitating an animal's behavioral patterns and supernatural abilities on a whim.
Each time I asked my parents they would say that it was magic without going into further details. Although asking these questions, my tutor, miss Wednesday would provide me with a slightly more satisfying answer, by simply explaining those powers as more of a curse rather than magic, it does not solve the whole puzzle.
Miss Wednesday always says that I should stop bothering to learn about these useless kinds of stuff, for now, telling me to relax while I have the time and learn about the stuff that is easier and more appropriate for my age like dancing and basic court etiquette, hinting that my parents might have a lot of ambitious stuff planned out for my future.
She also said that she might start with reading and writing lessons sooner than planned since I proved to be a fast learner and smarter than my age, which gave me a huge relief.
As I was stressed about self-studying at my juncture, which might freak out the folks at home, thinking I am an abomination or some magical freak.
