Luke was the one going on the front as they went up the stairs, he was holding a sword, but as he placed his second foot up the stairs suddenly the entrance closed, he looked back and said “Well, shit.” As a big light illuminated an armor stand with and armor holding a sword, then a big Cauldron with a metal face that looked decorative but Luke knew better than that, then a 5m tall mech (16’4) that had two big lasers on his shoulder and a sword, the last one was… a huge amalgam of swords, all spinning around a smaller sword in the center, luke knew he had no chance against them without knowing anything about them and just accepted he would die even if he won, probably from bleeding, but a voice from behind him said “Which one do you want to fight with? you will have 5 tries, at the end of every attempt everything will reverse back to how it was, who do you want to fight first? “The Sword Elemental” Luke said, a plan forming, as the swords started whirling faster and faster, Luke only stood there, he was ready to dodge, but he only saw a sword embedded in his gut, his life dropping to 3 and the elemental starting to whirl faster, luke was shocked at the speed, but he yanked the sword in his gut out and put himself diagonally against the elemental, holding the sword, another sword hit his sword extremely fast and both went flying, at that point Luke smiled, but as he smiled he saw hundreds of red lines and the next moment the voice said “4 attempts left” then Luke answered “can I make so that my friends don’t have to fight the boss?” to which the voice answered “no, only those you kill, those won't appear again” Luke then frowned, small alterations to his plans forming in his head as he said “The huge robot” as Luke got ready he saw the robot mirror his stance with it's own sword as the lasers started charging, as he got close he managed to dodge over the huge swings of the robot with ease, when the lasers were finally ready Luke got too close for the beams to shoot, making the first one miss and the one on his other shoulder to keep charging, as he thought this one was too easy for a boss, a hole opened in the robot’s chest and a third beam shot out almost immediately, Luke once more heard the voice, and it said “3 attempts remaining, it seems your luck is running low” Luke smiled ferociously at the irony, making a small change to his plan again, now mad at the voice, then he just pointed to the cauldron, that in turn immediately spat boiling stew in a beam that left the metal ground yellowy hot, good thing that Luke immediately rolled to the side as it started, now easily able to avoid the beams, he rushed towards the cauldron, that when he got too close then answered by vomiting some possessed vegetables and meat cubes that went to attack Luke on their own, Luke checked inside the cauldron after he jumped on a meat cube to go further up, he located what he wanted to see inside the soup as he fell into the liquid knowing fully well what would happen, immediately hearing a voice “2 attempts left, that was very stupid by the way” Luke pointed to the armor, it was quite literally just a piece of armor and a sword that moved, Luke could see that and went to fight it anyway, using a staff to test the waters, as sword clashed with staff the staff broke in half, Luke jumped back, almost getting grazed by the sword in the chest as he then proceedded to punch the armor in the chest near the shoulder and gasp, feeling the strength of his punch being sent back to his fist and his chest right beneath the shoulder, this threw him off balance and a sword hit his neck as the voice said “This should have hurt more, considering you seem to have some sort of curse resistance ability I’d recommend the-” Luke rudely interrupted by simply yawning and then walking near the robot and staring at it, he smiled and said “All” to which the statue that had been behind him but that Luke never turned to talk directly to answered “What.” it was meant to be a question but didn’t come out as one, but Luke got closer to the statue and said “I want to fight all five of you. Is it that hard to believe?” Luke saw it as obvious, he saw the statue move before when he fought the robot, it moved to dodge the beam, thus it was killable and probably a boss too, suddenly he saw lines from all over, as the robot made to mirror his stance he jumped on the robot’s sword, being sent up as the robot copied his stance, sending Luke up, then the robot got hit by swords and the cauldron’s beam, Luke fell unharmed on the mech’s head and made the motion of stabbing his eye, the mech mirrored his stance, luke then swerve and made to block the many swords sent his way as he threw his sword in the elemental’s direction just as the robot’s beam was ready, the robot mirrored it, and the elemental formed a giant sword shield, Luke then purposefully fell from the robot’s head, a beam from the cauldron passing where he was, as he passed by the robot’s laser beam’s line he realized that the chest of the robot was at best almost absolutely destroyed and one of the shoulder beams melted but that didn’t matter much, the beam shot at Luke, missing as Luke was in motion by falling, and heading directly to the sword elemental that made another sword shield, on the fall, just before falling into the armor, he held to a sword stuck near the robot’s core, pulling it down by a bit as he swerved on it, destroying the core as he felt the rush of energy unlike before entering him, due to him holding the sword, the armor bellow missed a sword strike, and Luke ran, away from the robot and towards the cauldron, no time to lose, the robot fell the armor was too slow to follow and got crushed, another rush of energy filling Luke this time clearly near a level up, Luke then muttered “and 3 and 2 and-” then he jumped above the cauldron’s beam, and just as he dodged it, the beam hit a shield made with swords albeit way less than before, the beam melting most of them but Luke couldn't analyze how many exactly, then a rain of swords fell upon him as he fell down behind the cauldron, the minions meant to appear being destroyed just like the cauldron due to the rain of swords, Luke laid down on the ground as he peeked at the sword elemental from behind a piece of the cauldron, immediately discarding plan A as the sword elemental had only three swords left, all spinning slowly, Luke picked two swords embedded on the ground near the cauldron and slowly walked towards the sword elemental that didn’t have enough swords to generate energy to make more swords then Luke started talking to the statue “see, that’s the fun part” he stabbed a crystalline core on the ground with one of the swords, killing the cauldron as he kept slowly walking now with one sword and speaking “This isn’t plan A anymore for me because the results were better than I expected, you are dead mister 5th boss, you might not have realized yet, but you are already dead.”

The {Young Curse King} never thought he would feel fear, but as he saw the man deflecting the swords and then breaking the core of the elemental as he spoke in a calm and collected manner, he realized the system had made some mistake when measuring the boy’s stats, that last battle was fully in control of the boy, and the curse king being a melee fighter with mind powers didn’t make him feel comfortable in his position at all, he had been trying to invade the mind of the boy for a while, but all that the curse king found was a barrier, like his feelings were locked in a perfect barrier that could only be broken from the inside, and the curse king could only invade through emotions, and the barrier had been there from before the curse king even existed, so he couldn’t even force his way in, the boy was slowly walking toward him as he said in a confident tone even if he wasn’t confident “I fight in the mind, but yours seem to be closed, mind opening it? If you beat me in a mind context I can give you a new reward, this is a promise.” to which the boy, that had the name {Cursed} clearly recieved a system prompt and said “Are you sure? It’s not safe in there, you might get lost, or worse.” as the boy winced, and tears started falling down the boy’s face freely, his mind’s barrier blown wide open from the inside, the curse king became a dark wisp and zoomed into the mind, not waiting for a second, instead of finding a regular mind he found a mindscape, it was weird even for mindscapes, there were humongous metal and glass buildings, he vaguely felt the system transmitting their battle, that was a matter of course, the curse king was a world boss, still weak now, but stronger than any human mind, except he couldn’t seem to find anywhere to go, it was all the same buildings and always the same people and cars, he started flying extremely fast into the distance as he looked for an exit, he saw no differences as he kept going, so he flew up, and all he saw was the same building’s repeating endlessly as a voice spoke “Having fun in there? I am getting bored from waiting for you to get in here, I'm inside any building” and the curse king shivered and said in a trembling voice “You have a mind dao don’t you?” he knew it was impossible, breaking through in the dao during time dilation was impossible and that was what was happening with all dungeons, but the boy somehow did it this mindscape's presence was almost enough to kill him alone, and now he was stuck until he found the boy, he had to pray the boy was bad with the dao, otherwise the short life of the curse king was already over, and since he promised a prize the system would probably twist him into one until nothing was left so he steeled his thoughts and entered a building, and as he hoped, a contraption took him upwards towards the boy, that was sitting in a chair like spinning thing, the boy was wearing something that restricted the vision of his eyes, it was a piece of white cloth, he slowly turned in the chair “so we meet again, king of curses” the boy said, the curse king was genuinely confused, but once the boy removed the blindfold and locked eyes the curse king saw something in the boy’s eyes, it was himself, or rather, his wisp being absorbed by the boy’s hands in the outside as the boy said “I told you you were already dead, should have believed, I had seen you deflecting swords with your own abilities so I knew how to dodge them as you deflected them in my direction, from so far I easily dodged, so close combat would have meant death for you, but let’s make it fun” the curse king felt himself gaining control over the mindscape, he then tried to collapse everything on the boy but the boy vanished, why would he give the curse king power here, did he really want a fair fight? as he looked at the sky he saw something change on the boy, another mind dao, or was it a body dao, wait... there were two? what monster was this boy? fact is the boy felt more tangible, the curse king teleported behind the boy and punched the boy with all his mind power, but the punch seemed to get slower and slower and the boy didn’t budge in the slightest, and the curse king started fading as the boy said “hmm so that’s how it works, thank you for the help, now you can die” a giant purple sphere appeared in the boy's hand that destroyed space itself, it hit the curse king's mind and just like that, his soul was separated from his wisp body, and the curse king was no more, as he was passing he said to the boy “I guess I’ll die then”
