Chapter 1

Aqua's P.O.V

Hi. My name is Alina Jones. I am seventeen years old and I live with my mom in Manhatten. I have pretty dark skin, since I'm half cherokee and half american. I have long black hair that reaches my waist and hazel eyes.

I have always been a drop out in school for some reason. It didn't matter what school I went to, something bad would happen and I had to move. This cycle has been repeated for over seven years now.

My mom had no choice but to transfere me to this college called Private School for Gifted Youngsters. My mom had a chat with the principal and I don't know why, but she accepted me and I am now heading towards the school this very instant.

*Narrating* Alina walked to the front of the school and stared at the front gate. The doors swung open and she stepped foot into the mysterious school.

Back to Alina

I had barely made three steps when this gang of boys, five or six maybe, came over. The bulkiest one, probably the leader, stepped forward.

GL: So, you're the new kid right?

A: Yeah?

GL: I wonder why Principal Brown would accept you. Skinny, short. Probably not good at any of the catagories.

A: Catagories?

ST: Yeah, the catagories. There's drama, pottery, jewelry....

GL: Shut up, Bob!

*Narrator* Just then, a girl with brown hair, wearing a gold necklace and a loose white T-shirt came over.

NG: Critisizing the new kid again, Dylan?

D: None of your buisness, VIRGINIA CRAW - FORD.

VC: You better leave before I tell Principal Brown.

*Narrator* The gang leaves, fuming.

AJ: Thanks.

VC: No problem. What's your name?

AJ: Alina Jones.

VC: Nice name.

AJ: Thanks.

VC: Come on. I'll introduce you to my friends.

*Narrator* Virginia then leads Alina to the school's track field, while stating the places during the walk.

VC: And this is the school's track field.

AJ: It's really big.

VC: I know, right? You should try running five laps under the sun. The gym teachers take it too far.

*Narrator* Two boys possition themselves on the track. One had black hair, brown eyes and pale skin. Everything he wore was black. The other boy had red hair, tan skin and yellow eyes. All HE wore was red. There was a girl at the front of the sidelines telling the boys to prepare themselves. She had light blonde hair and purple eyes.

VC: The one in black is Shad. And the one in red is Andrew.

AJ: Who's the judge?

VC: That's Lauraine. Whatever you do, don't insult her outfit.

L: And............GO!

*Narrator* The boys took of running. They reached the finish line not long after and it was a draw.

L: Sorry, guys. It's still a draw.

A: What! When am I going to beat this guy?!

VC: Guys, if it's still a draw it means your strengh and speed are equal. Now can you two stop fighting and introduce yourselves to my new friend.

Alina's P.O.V

Leo had blonde hair, green eyes and a cocky smile. I could tell he was a flirty guy.

Theodore had a cute face with brown hair and a pair of green eyes. He was currently munching on a bag of chips.

Gemma and Gem both had the same height and blonde hair. Gemma had hazel eyes, was wearing a yellow school uniform and was holding a cell phone. Gem, on the other hand, had blue eyes and was wearing a frilly pink dress.

Christopher had a light shade of brown hair and turqoise eyes. He wore glasses and had a book in his hands. Bookworm, I presume.

Candace had pink eyes and shoulder lengh hair. She had pale skin and a small black heart tattoo on her left cheek. She wore a sad, farraway expression on her face like something was bothering her. And for some reason, Shad was staring at her with the same expression as if thinking: Hey, why are you so sad all off the time?

Primrose had brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a black cat hoodie and was slightly dozing of on Candace's shoulder. They were best friends, I could tell.
