A whole day had passed, and Nahida's hotel was now empty. Satisfaction had reached 0, but at least he had gone up another level during the night. He was now getting 7 points per hour.
168 points per day. It was a good number, but it was still not enough. Nahida wanted to get to level 10 soon but needed guests. But luckily for him, new guests arrived that day during the afternoon.
Two men entered. Unlike what Nahida expected, they were not merchants but adventurers. They both wore simple leather armor and held weapons.
Nahida treated it as natural and attended to the two. They paid for three nights, and Nahida handed them each a key. Nahida suggested they stay in the same room, but they didn't like the idea.
'Even if they are friends...' Nahida smiled bitterly. They are men with somewhat fragile masculinity.
"Right, let's clean the floor for now. After that, I'm going to take a look at the system to start increasing my hotel. Oh, and I must also go to the market to restock the kitchen."
Nahida had plenty of money left over. He had gotten more money than expected by selling the coins Rimuru had given him. He had a few gold coins and a lot of yen.
It was enough for him to buy a lot of stuff at the small market in his region.
"Now that Shelly is not here, should I hire someone else?"
As Nahida said those words, the bell above the door rang.
"Welcome... Ah, it's you." Someone Nahida who wasn't expecting appeared. Despite his slightly different appearance because of the difference between Anime/Reality, Nahida knew who that person was very well.
Primarily because of his school uniform and his distinctive hair.

In Fuyuki, Ōita Prefecture, a hotel appeared on a previously empty lot. A convenience store had used the lot before. It was demolished a few months earlier.
The lot had been purchased by a real estate company preparing to build an apartment complex. But before construction could begin, a strange structure took over much of the lot.
A building made entirely of bricks with a facade with several windows. But no one could see inside because of some protection on the glass. The strange building caught the attention of many people who passed by daily.
Including a boy with short auburn hair and golden brown eyes. He was a little tall and wore an Homurahara Academy uniform.
"Huh?" He looked at the strange building. It had a large sign just above the door with a name.
[ Hotel Yamato ]
The boy looked at the facade for a while. "I wonder if they're hiring. I need money." It wouldn't hurt to walk in to ask, so he opened the door.
He had no problem interacting with people, so a job at an establishment like this would be excellent, even if it were only part-time.

"What do you mean 'It's you'?" The boy asked, confused upon hearing Nahida's words. Nahida cleared his throat and smiled at him.
"It's nothing; I mistook you for someone else. So, you want a room?"
"It's not that. I'm here to ask if you guys are hiring." The boy looked around. He saw that there were no other employees around. "Ah, my name is Shirou, Emiya Shirou."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Shirou. My name is Yamato." Nahida hid his name, as he was a little embarrassed.
"But about that, I am hiring. But first, I need to know what you're good at." Nahida touched his chin and waited for Shirou to say all his qualities. Shirou was very good at cooking and cleaning, and Nahida knew it.
After Shirou finished speaking, Nahida raised his thumb. "You're hired." He didn't want to let this opportunity pass. He could hire people utilizing the system, but it was much better to have characters working here.
He wanted to interact with these characters daily. The more of them, the better it would be.
"Huh? So easy?" Shirou was confused. He hadn't even gone through an interview. He just spoke about simple things he was good at. Was that enough to get hired?
This hotel didn't care much about the qualifications of its employees.
"Yes, you start tomorrow. But you still study. You need to balance your studies with work. Will that be okay?"
"You don't have to worry. Usually, I don't get out of school that late, so I can work all afternoon until the evening comes."
"All right, that's good. Now let's talk about your salary." The average wage in Japan was 961 yen per hour, but Nahida wanted to give a little extra to his employees. "How about 1100 yen an hour?"
His hotel wasn't making any yen, but Nahida had plenty of bronze and silver coins. If he sold them, he would make good money. It was enough to pay one employee and buy the necessities for his hotel.
Bronze and silver coins were easier to sell, unlike gold coins.
"1100 an hour? Isn't that a lot?"
"It's a lot, but who cares? What do you think? Will you be working here from tomorrow?"
"I didn't expect it to be so easy. Right, from tomorrow. Is there a uniform I need to wear?"
"You can come in casual clothes, don't worry. And about this hotel, I hope you won't be surprised by the guests." Nahida knew that a goblin or another monster could walk through that door any moment.
"What do you mean?"
"You'll know what I'm talking about when you start working here."
"..." Shirou was confused but didn't care much about that.
