[ Available Rooms - 5/6 ]
[ Hotel Level - 6 (871/1400 ]
[ Guest satisfaction - 120/10000 ]
"Now that the three have left, satisfaction has dropped quite a bit. Only one room is being occupied at the moment. At least there are two people." Two merchants, but they were already preparing to leave.
Nahida would be without customers again.
"Right, but the important thing is how many points I saved."
[ Upgrade points: 342 ]
Nahida had stayed long hours without looking at his points. The number was high; he had enough to buy a new room and still give the necessary upgrades.
But he did not do that. New interesting things had appeared.
Now Nahida could increase the size of the reception, the size of the "dining room" of the inn, and the size of the kitchen. Improving the kitchen equipment was also among the options.
"Should I start increasing the size of my hotel? No, I think it's better to do this first."
[ Make improvements to the building structure - 340 ]
Increase the quality of the building structure. He feared the structure would collapse if he started buying several rooms. That probably wouldn't happen, but... Besides, the construction of the building has always been fragile.
It is an old building built by his grandparents and has never been renovated. There were cracks in some parts of the building, and the wood on the floor was creaking. The building needed renovation.
And since the system gave him this possibility, Nahida would do it.
Since he had enough points, he bought the upgrade for his hotel.

[ Your hotel will be closed for five minutes ]
[ You will receive a 100% bonus ]
"A bonus? My hotel will close?" Nahida felt his hotel shake. He heard Lucky start screaming inside the kitchen because of the fright. Some pans started to fall and make a lot of noise.
Nahida ran to the front desk and noticed the door had been locked. Panicked, Nahida ran to his secret room to try to protect himself. His room was the most secure place.
Then hiding under a table, afraid of being hit by something that might fall from the ceiling, Nahida noticed that everything had started to change. The wooden floor began to transform.
In front of his eyes, as if by magic, a golden glow began to transform the entire wooden floor into a concrete floor. And after everything was covered with concrete, a thin layer of wood was laid on top of it.
The walls of the building, once cracked and made of wood, began to be redone, but this time with bricks. Even an excellent paint job had been put on the walls—a discreet color.
The whole building is now made of bricks.
The shaking disappeared, and Nahida crawled out from under his desk. He was speechless for long minutes as he looked at the new-looking walls, ceiling, and floor. "If my mother saw this, she would kill me."
The whole "Japanese countryside hotel" aesthetic was gone now.

His hotel had undergone a drastic transformation. The wooden walls being replaced by brick walls was enough to increase a lot the quality of his hotel.
Especially in a fantasy world. In some worlds, there are inns like this, but most are made only of wood. It was an excellent advance.
"Now I can focus on increasing the size of the whole hotel. The size of the reception is important, of the 'dining room' too. But the most important thing is the size of the bedrooms."
Nahida had increased the size of one room before, but he wanted to increase the size of all six rooms available in his hotel. But now he would have to wait a little longer.
Nahida went to the front desk, and then Lucky appeared.
"What was that? I almost died."
"I upgraded the hotel, don't you see?"
"Yes, everything is made of bricks now. But couldn't you have warned me before? The kitchen is a mess now!"
"I'm sorry about that, Lucky. I'll let you know next time."
"Hmph! If you want me to apologize, you'd better get better equipment for me."
"Shall I remind you that I'm your boss and can fire you away whenever I want?"
"Urgh." Lucky ran and returned to his natural habitat, the kitchen.
Nahida sat at the reception and looked at the bell above the door that had not been replaced. It was the same old bell that was over 50 years old. Then, the bell swung.
"It's here! I'm confused. What happened?" A fat man walked in; he was the merchant who was staying at Nahida's hotel. He and his friend entered and looked around the reception.
The counter was not modified like the walls and floor, so it is still made of old wood.
"I'm sorry I did all this without telling you guys. I've changed my inn a bit."
"Changed it a bit?! I hardly recognized it!" The man laughed.
"What did you think?" Nahida asked. "It's better now, isn't it?"
"It's amazing; it's much better now, right?" The fat man looked at his friend.
"It's so good I almost didn't recognize your inn. We only went in because of the sign on the front, but even then, we were still afraid we had entered the wrong building.' The man scratched his head.
"Hahahaha." Nahida laughed at the man.
"But how did you do it? Was it some kind of magic? I've never seen a building changed in such a short time."
"Let's just say I have a very unique ability."
"Impressive." The man complimented Nahida. "So, is the food ready yet?"
"It's a bit early, but I'll ask Lucky to prepare the food."
"Thank you." The man and his friend walked up the stairs toward their room.
"It's good that my guests are all residents of worlds that have magic. It will be easier to explain."
But Nahida was worried about his neighbors in Japan.
