INTO THE NEW WORLD-CHAPTER 4

“HEY KRISTEN!”
“Did you lose again?”
“What happened Kristen?”
“Too difficult for you?”
“Aww, look at him, he’s CRYING!”
Laughter intensifies all around like booming landmines, uncontrollable.
Kristen wakes up sweating. “F**k, that dream again.” Kristen wipes his head and looks around puzzled. “Oh right, this situation.” Kristen gets up but stumbles a bit. “Dang, I’m fried. I need to assess what happened again.” His dream came shoving into his mind again. “cool, now get out of my head, I’ve been bothered one too many times.” Kristen dismissed it and recounted everything that happened.
Everything came flooding to him, Jameed, The Phone, Ashlyn, and Food. Food. “Oh, I’m very hungry. Where can I even get food around here, I need to go look around. Jameed didn’t return, something is wrong.”
RING! RING! Kristen pulled out something out of his pocket. It was the phone he found lying around.
* Food/Water 0.8 miles away
Kristen looked at it. “Screw it I’m getting the food.” Kristen got him and started to go pack his stuff up. “Oh yeah I got nothing. I’ll just get going.” Kristen thought as he put his hand on his head. He got up and put on his dusty shoes. “Man, I look like a homeless person now. Ironic, I am homeless.” Kristen exited the subway to his next stop.

Kristen arrived at his destination. It was an old abandoned coffee shop. Kristen opened the door slowly. it creaked a lot. “Well too late to be sneaky.” Kristen just strolled in and took a look around. It was everything he pretty much expected in an old abandoned coffee shop. It wasn’t bad enough to be out of use though. Kristen walked towards the seats as he followed the directions and came across a table. It was full of food and water. More than he has ever seen in a very long time. “Holy, do they expect me to eat this much? Whoever did this served me well. I’m still skeptical though, I’ll search the area first.” He looked around the area and saw a note on the chair next to the table. He picked it up and opened it up.
* All this food and drinks are for you to consume and hold. A Bag is behind this table, make use of it. It is perfectly safe.
* Clothes, Shoes, and other important materials are under the next desk.
* Meet at the Warehouse of Garle. Your companion will be here.
* You have one week. Use the phone to navigate and find your stops for food and rest.
That was it. Kristen processed the information he just read. He was stuck on one thing. Jameed. He was at the Warehouse of Garle. So many thoughts ran through Kristen’s head. “I can’t linger too long on this. I need a plan. But first,” he looked at the food on the table. “Oh, I’m feasting.”

Geo was feeling drained. Ashlyn did a number on him for sure. “Oh. she just wouldn’t shut up.” Geo was sitting on his bed. He wouldn’t stay here long he figured, it was almost time to meet up with Lynx’s team. “Might as well get ready early and pack up my stuff.” Geo got up and went to pack up and plan out the unforeseen.

4 People were outside. These 4 are Ashlyn, Geo, Braylee, and Big J. Big J stepped forward and turned to his crew. “Alright guys, We will meet up with Lynx’s team in the next city. We will enter AirOut for a gadget, We only need one more for all of us to access the Dome. It's a long time coming.”
Braylee was smiling ear to ear. “Finally! We all will enter the New World together like we promised, right?”
Ashlyn replied to her happily. “Right! It feels surreal.”
Geo remained silent.
“Alright, I got the directions, our ride is arriving soon.” Big J informed.
The group was ready to travel and to take their final step to the Dome.

Kristen felt like a new man. New clothes, new shoes, and a full stomach. Kristen managed to fit his food/drinks and clothes into his bag. Surprisingly it wasn’t that heavy. “Probably one of those stretch bags that reduce the original weight of whatever that is inside. Convenient,” Kristen thought. Kristen walked out of the coffee shop fresh. He pulled out the phone and looked at his next stop. It was 8.4 miles away. a hotel on the west side of the city. Kristen opened up the map of his city, Hogram. “Alright, I will need to travel west. The final destination, Warehouse of Garle, is 84 miles away.”

Kristen took off walking towards his first stop. He was off to find Jameed. He will be leaving the city where he lived with Jameed for a long time. He will be entering new waters. new adversaries he will encounter. This marks the start of a Journey towards the Dome and into the New World.

*Somewhere, XXXX*
A City was bustling. Visors shine upon the city. Long stripes of cyber-looking silhouettes covered the skylines. Megastructures and corporates tower across the entire world. Billboards floating, promoting many of many. Rain was drizzling down, though no one seemed to be affected. Neon lights all around, shining across districts, exotic sights to be found. Artificial life and machines dominate many areas. Cubes, speeding technological vehicles, and jets flying around. One could call this the next step for humanity. Another could call this paradise. One can even call this Junk.
One thing is for sure, It is the nexus of everything.
The City of Eos. The center of the New World. The spawn of all those who enter the New World. Footsteps, If you can even call them footsteps, dominated the pathways of the floor. A huge crowd of people take counts across the Center of the city, known as the Z-Square. Some wait at a big circular door, known as The Dome (Future7), in the middle of the park, either to see it open for their people to enter the New World or just out of curiosity. A couple walks through the Z-Square, Bright clothing, hats with interesting mechanics, and generally interesting attire, looking futuristic. It is the same for many that live in the City of Eos.
Another thing is for sure, The City of Eos is where the founders of the New World reside. The X Forx. Led by Xerkus, the famous pioneer that engineered Doomsday. The X Forx reside in the Second Sky, Known as the level above the City of Eos, virtually impossible to get to.
The City of Eos although isn’t the only area in the New World. 5 sections have been designated in the discovered map that keeps updating when something new arrives.
So much undiscovered. So many possibilities. The fate of the New World has only begun.
