TRANSCENDING INTO THE NEW WORLD— CHAPTER 1

It’s September 16th, 2066. With time passing, the wind blowing solemnly, and lifeforms scarce, the world has changed very much in the past twenty years.
Movement erupts in a grassy abandoned city. A human is cutting through all the green and is advancing to nowhere.
After a while, the human arrives at a subway.
“Hey Jameed, where are you? I got the food from our supply area.”
“Tone down your voice. I’m coming over Kristen.”
Jameed walks out of a room left of the entrance with a gadget and headphones.
“I can’t seem to get the gadget to work,” Jameed says. “It is another faulty, We are going to have to go look for another one.”
Kristen sighs. “Again? Man, we need to step up, the Dome isn’t going to wait for us forever you know?”

Gadgets, the new fad that has erupted from the past decade. They allow an individual to visit the Dome. The Dome is a virtual system that transcends reality and into the New World. Nobody knows where it came from, but it is a factor of what most believe to have caused Doomsday.
Doomsday was a historical changing event that started April 6th, 2045. Many months before though, One of the biggest companies in the world HarvestSeven, released a new invention. After teasing it for years and going through many prototypes and machines, they released an invention called The Future7, better known as the Dome. The Future7 was an entrance to what HarvestSeven called, “A Promised Paradise.” Although for safety issues, HarvestSeven built gadgets as keys to enter Future7. They also made gadgets a one-time use and granted only by them.
Marketing the product was a success, as many of the world’s billionaires invested in it and wanted a piece of it. Then, Doomsday hit. The Invention Future7, as in development needed a power source. HarvestSeven managed to claim hundreds of nuclear power plants. All of these power plants had the destructive force of a 5th generation A-Bomb, which could wipe out thousands of miles. With years of preparation and many precautions taken, the Future7 was safely built, or so was thought.
April 5th, 2045, 10 people broke in HarvestSeven’s base of operations for the Future7. No one knows how they did it but it happened. They stole 10 gadgets for each one of them and took them to enter Future7. There was seemly no guards on board around the base at this time which has yet to be explained. But 3 of them weren’t done. They stayed behind and found access to the Power Plants. They turned up the Energy for Future7 to function. HarvestSeven caught notice though and alarms were sounded, but by then they were already gone. By powering up the Future7 portal, they also set a chain reaction the company wasn’t ready for. The Nuclear plants not only powered the Future7 but all their prototypes and machines in the whole building. This led to a catastrophic explosion that exploded the whole area and caused radiation poisoning across the world.

April 6th, 2045, The world is hit with a deadly radiation poisoning and everyone is told to stay inside. At the site of the explosion, HarvestSeven’s base, The Future7 has disappeared completely, and the culprits were nowhere to be seen. Hours later, The Future7 appeared into the sky of the site, and then connection to all screens was mysteriously intercepted.
“What the Hell??”

“¿Lo que está sucediendo?”
The people around the world were panicking. Never has something like this happened.
“Find the source! We have to stop whoever they are!”
“Who’s the culprit? Track whoever they are down!”
“Schedule an emergency meeting with the United Nations NOW!”
Governments were taking action and meetings were being held in this time of emergency. But it was too late.
The video transmission runs and 10 people appear on the screen. Behind them seem to be the Future7. 9 of the 10 people have their faces covered but 1 steps forward and takes off their mask. A male appears and takes a deep breath. Then the man opens his mouth and speaks,
Hear me world! My Name is Xerkus. We have the Future7 Invention with us. A Whole new world is waiting to be discovered and we will be the pioneers. There is a great big treasure waiting to be found. The question is who will find it? Gadgets will be dropped across the world, billions of them, We have duplicated the Future7 invention multiple times over and are in many locations on the Earth. Good luck and we await you on the other side.”
Xerkus puts his mask back on and walks back with the rest following him. They disappear completely and the Future7 portal disappears. The Video transmission cuts to the site of the explosion and the Future7 portal stands untouched.
The world is stunned. Nobody knew what to do. Then gadgets started dropping from the sky. Billions of them were falling across the world.
From that day on, chaos ensued. People started taking action and the world slowly fell into anarchy. Governments took action against the people and tried to calm events. World issues accelerated and many issues occurred. Soon after, governments started to fall, and the world spiraled into a new era.

September 17th, 2066. Jameed has already woken up from his sleep and gotten ready for the day.
“Hey Kristen, Wake up.”
Jameed starts shaking him around.
“uugghh,” Kristen yawns. “Man, I can’t get any extra sleep? “
“No, we have to get going.”
Kristen gets up and goes to get ready. Jameed packs his stuff and gets Kristen’s stuff ready. Kristen returns ready.
“Alright, Jameed let's get moving to the next area in this subway.”
A loud explosion happens above and debris starts coming down the stairs.
“uh, what was that?” asks Kristen.
“Bro, let's just run,” replies Jameed.
They both start running towards the next station ignoring the explosion. Coming down the stairs though, a person nobody knows.
“Found them.”
