"Why would you ask something like that? We were clearly a loving family, and you were the favorite of us all," Lilithra said, trying to sound sincere.
{The person has lied}
"Tell the truth, Lilithra," Axis pressed, his eyes narrowing.
"I'm telling the truth. You were close with everyone," she insisted.
{The person has lied}
"How was my relationship with you?" Axis asked pointedly.
"We were close. We used to spend a lot of time together," Lilithra responded.
{The person has lied}
"How was my relationship with Mother?" Axis continued, feeling more skeptical.
"You were close. You spent days waiting for her to play with you," Lilithra replied.
{The person has lied}
"What about the First Sister?" Axis asked, not letting up.
"I would say close. You used to spend a lot of time with her," Lilithra answered.
{The person has lied partially}
"And what about the Third Sister?" Axis asked, his voice softer.
"You spent the most time with her," Lilithra finally admitted.
{The person has spoken partial truth }
Axis sighed, feeling the weight of Lilithra's lies. "Why aren't you being honest with me, Lilithra?" His eyes grew cold, mirroring the expressions he had seen of his younger self in the vision.
Lilithra's silence was telling. She couldn't find the words to lie anymore.
'If not for the analysis skill, I wouldn't have known I was being lied to. Maybe I need to stop trusting others so easily. Maybe this is the reason why my younger self had a cold expression even when talking to me. This family, there's more to it than meets the eye,' Axis thought, his resolve hardening.
The rest of the ride back to the mansion was filled with silence. Axis spent the time exploring the shop function in the system and going through the items in his inventory, trying to distract himself from the uneasy truths he had uncovered.
As the carriage rolled through the gates of the mansion, the familiar sights brought a mix of comfort and apprehension. He knew this place well, but everything felt different now. The weight of his newfound knowledge pressed heavily on his shoulders.
When they finally arrived, Axis stepped out of the carriage, his mind still racing. Lilithra followed, her usual confident demeanor slightly shaken.
"Mother will want to hear about your placement," Lilithra said, breaking the silence as they walked toward the grand entrance.
Axis nodded, his expression unreadable. "I'll tell her."
They entered the mansion, the grand hall echoing with their footsteps. Servants moved about, their eyes casting curious glances toward Axis and Lilithra. It wasn't long before they were ushered into a sitting room where their mother, the Grand Duchess, awaited them.

"Axis, Lilithra," the Grand Duchess greeted them, her voice warm but tinged with an undercurrent of authority. "Welcome back."
"I greet the Duchess," Axis said, bowing slightly. "I have news from the Tower."
The Grand Duchess's eyes furrowed, a hint of surprise flickering in her gaze. She had heard that Axis had lost his memories, yet the way he carried himself now felt strikingly similar to the Axis she remembered from before the incident.
"Axis, my dear you know how surprised i was then i got the message form the tower last night saying you completed the mana awakening," she began, her tone gentle yet probing. " so What news do you bring?"
"The result of the mana awakening came out," Axis announced, his voice steady. "I have been placed in the special class."
The Grand Duchess's eyes widened slightly, a flicker of pride and surprise crossing her face. "I did expect you to get into the elite class, but special? You have surpassed my expectations. Say, what do you want as a reward? I will reward you with anything as long as I can provide it."
Her eyes probed him, as if testing his reaction, while her body emitted a palpable pressure, making the atmosphere heavy.
{Alert...}
{Skill mana pressure has been detected}
{Host is advised to move outside the range of the skill immediately}
The pressure was intense, his body felt like it was about to collapse.
{Anonymous god's blessing has triggered}
{Granting the skill Eyes That Can See [Rank ????]}
{ the skill eyes that can see is activating }
{Skill Eyes That Can See is resisting the mana pressure}
{Resistance successful}
Breathing heavily, Axis replied, "I am tired at the moment. Would the Duchess allow me to think it over before asking for anything?"
"Oh, you sure can. Go ahead," the Duchess said, her eyes widening in surprise as she withdrew the mana pressure. Lilithra, who had been having trouble breathing, looked at Axis in astonishment as he managed to withstand it.
"If I may?" Axis continued, after catching his breath.
"What is it?" the Duchess asked, her curiosity piqued.
"Am I correct to assume you know every single servant and person in the manor?" Axis asked, his tone steady.
"That is correct. Why do you ask?" the Duchess replied, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Do you know a maid going by the name Ranel in the mansion?" Axis continued, watching her reaction closely.
"Ranel… No, this is my first time hearing that name. If it's something important, is she someone you have taken a liking to? I can look it up," she offered, her lips forming a small smile.
'System, analyze,' Axis thought.
{The person speaks the truth}
"No, there's no need. It's not important," Axis said, maintaining his composure. "I'm sure you have a lot to discuss. I will leave the two of you to work," he added, bowing slightly before turning to leave.
As Axis walked out of the room, his mind raced. If not for the timely activation of the new skill he gained, he would not have been able to withstand the Duchess's pressure. Ranel had claimed to be his personal maid for the past month, yet she wasn't even a servant in the mansion. Moreover, no matter how much he thought about it, he couldn't remember her face.
'Lies. This whole mansion is filled with lies,' he thought, his expression hardening and eyes growing cold.
Entering his room, Axis sat down, reflecting on the strange occurrences. The anonymous god's blessing had granted him the skill, Eyes That Can See, which had helped him resist the mana pressure. The Duchess's lack of knowledge about Ranel only added to the growing list of mysteries. Who was Ranel, really? And why did she claim to be his maid?
'System, do you remember Ranel?'
{System has memory of individual named Ranel}
'So she wasn't a delusion,' Axis thought, feeling a mix of relief and confusion.
He realized he needed to be more cautious and vigilant. Trusting others easily had already led him into a web of deception. The vision of his younger self, cold and wary, seemed to make more sense now. Perhaps his past self had learned the hard way not to trust anyone too easily.
'System, keep an eye out for any unusual activity around me,' Axis thought.
