CHAPTER 433 - ASSASSINATING A GRANDMASTER!

Grandmaster Luo had been meditating in the Celestial Warship with a troubled expression when he first felt the waves of chaotic power pass through his body.

He did not even have a chance to react as a second later after he realized the passing energy was a technique that cut off communications from the outside world, an enemy appeared to attack him out of the blue!

RUMBLE!

The skies cried and the earth rumbled the moment this being rushed towards him, teleporting extremely closely as the whispers of two skills, [Void of Impending Doom] and [Armageddon], were heard.

It was an immensely dangerous situation for the Grandmaster as he felt the weight of the entire world falling towards him, numerous chaos essence converging all around him as he saw the formation of dangerous chaos spears from all directions. This wasn’t all as below him, the ground was bubbling and melting as fiery eruptions occurred, his senses indicating to him that above them, there were also numerous terrifying meteors raining down that were already ripping the Warship apart!

"FIEND!"

The face of the Celestial Grandmaster was filled with immense anger and slight fear as the golden aura of fate erupted from his body, choosing to release the power of his Domain right away in order to escape this dangerous predicament.

BOOM! CRACK!

The impact hit, the collision and repulsion of fate and chaos spreading out, debris from the shattered warship smashing to the ground as the fiery earth continued to bubble forth and meteors smashed down, it was exactly a scene of what the skill described as for miles around, it was the scene of Armageddon!

The Celestial Grandmaster himself had blood leaking from his right shoulder as the Void of Impending Doom ability had not been completely evaded, even his spread out Domain of Fate could not completely prevent the destructive chaos elements.

Grandmaster Luo looked at the enemy that was now under the oppression of his domain as his eyes shone with splendor, feeling the chaos elements tearing apart his shoulder as he winced and spat out wrathfully.

"You dare to sneak attack a Grandmaster of the Celestials?!"

His words rumbled with power as he increased the output of energy towards his domain, numerous Fate Lines appearing on his body as they thrummed with power. On his body, one could count the swirling Fate Lines to tower over 200,000!

He glanced at the attacking enemy who was being pushed down by his Domain of Fate, his surroundings lighting up with numerous Empyrean Guards that soon became streaks of light and rushed towards him speedily, transforming into a golden armor, hammers, and wings!

The enemy looked towards the Grandmaster’s bleeding shoulders with an expressionless face as he uttered simple words.

[Chaotic Mandate].

RUMBLE!

A field of chaos particles first became apparent as it began spreading out wildly, trying its best to fight against the overpowering Domain of Fate as a glistening armor of darkness enveloped the expressionless being.

The armor shockingly shimmered in darkness as in his hands, two long serrated blades that released chaotic energies stood dangerously! On his back, wings of devouring darkness erupted out in grandeur as a tug of war between two supreme laws went underway!

In the air, the opposing battle between the Domain of Fate and the released Chaos Field continued, the much greater strength of the being releasing the Domain exceeding in pressure, but the newly armored enemy whose body palpated with dangerous chaos particles was holding off the pressure as he stood strongly.

Noah glanced at the Grandmaster that had evaded his attack with a heavy injury, the 200,000 Fate Lines thrumming with power making him feel slightly suffocated, but that was all!

This was because he himself had more than 100,000 Fate Lines, and also had Chaos Particles that passed that amount as well.

His figure held on tightly to the dark serrated blades as he streaked forward like a streak of light, the blades going for the head of the Grandmaster!

"Vile creature that has fallen in the hands of chaos! PERISH!"

An enormous Blade of Liberation pierced through the skies of the now apocalyptic landscape, numerous spears of Judgment also descending towards Noah as he weaved in and out them expertly.

It seemed like it wasn’t chaotic enough as his eyes rapidly followed the trajectory of the golden spears and the Grandmaster that was gradually healing with a golden aura, his thoughts moving to cast even more terrific skills as he tested what it would take to bring down a Grandmaster.

[Portals of Terror]. [Portals of Terror]... Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

RUMBLE!

A terrible skill was cast multiple times, this skill being made even more terrifying by the [Triple on Cast Support] that caused the blooming portals releasing immense destruction to come in numbers of three, quickly increasing in number in the surroundings as more than 50 Portals of Terror soon occupied the Grandmaster that was at the very center!

"..."

His gaze was ashen as he stared at the overwhelming number of pulsing Portals of Terror that he felt a foreboding feeling from, his heart tightening as he felt like he was standing in the direct center of an explosion.

BOOOOOM! RIIP!

The portals released their numerous varying disordered and destructive elements as the being shining grandly in gold on the middle was quickly overshadowed in a colorful yet deadly array of colors.

OOOOM

The space cracked and reformed as things gradually calmed, Noah walking forward while adorned in the powerful [Chaotic Mandate] that let each part of his body act as a weapon that released Chaos Essence.

He walked towards the center of where the numerous portals had congregated as he observed space to reform, revealing the disfigured Celestial Grandmaster within as his Empyrean Armament was tattered and broken, half of his right hand missing as he looked toward Noah with a terrified gaze.

"You..!"

ZING!

Noah wasted no time as he cast [Sever], the skill now supported by [Multiplicative Ray Support] releasing numerous rays of Aether that went on to pass through the body of the Grandmaster and cut it up into pieces.

Noah Ancient Blood Clone remained impassive as he neared the mass of flesh that remained, his gaze watching shattered Fate Lines that were rising from the body of this powerful being and coming towards him because of the effect of a particular skill.

[Fate Stealer] (5/5) :: A support ability that is only activated when an enemy that is proficient in the workings of fate stands against the Unruly Guider and faces their death. 12% of the Fate Essence that they have collected over the years will be absorbed by the Guider.

He watched with cold eyes as more than 25,000 Fate Lines raised from the body of the dead Celestial Grandmaster, the death of this being only bringing one thought in his mind as he prepared to hunt any other Celestials on the Magus World before he did something even more spectacular.

He used [Devouring] on the body of the dead Grandmaster just by habit, swirls of information crossing through his mind as he moved forward, but he had to come to a stop as while the life of the Grandmaster Luo was playing out in his mind, he actually came across information that pertained to someone he never expected, the War Princess- Athena!

He stopped briefly as he glanced over this information, his eyes shining as he unexpectedly got his hands on something good. He put this information in the back of his mind for now though, the task in front of him being crucial and time sensitive, so he continued forward, not even paying heed to the fact that he had just taken down a Grandmaster at the Domain Expansion Realm, a being that had over 200,000 Fate Lines!

Dead, and in under a minute!

The terror and immensity of the constantly enhanced abilities in the numerous Skill Trees he held were only now beginning to show their capability, their possibilities for the future being something that even Noah did not yet fathom...
