CHAPTER 430 - [KIN OF TERROR], BOLD!
Noah’s clone was currently in a random location in the void of space, his gaze looking over the stat panel that showed two possibilities of where he could take the Lesser Cthulhu skill tree.
[Amorphous Space Beast] (15/15) :: Abilities- Spatial Cage(5/5), Destabilize(5/5), Shattered Star(5/5), and Miniature Space(5/5). >> [Lesser Cthulhu] (45/45)Additional Abilities- Morph(5/5), Child of Space(5/5), Portals of Terror(5/5), and Sever(5/5). Two Skill Trees for evolution are possible once sufficient points and a base requirement of two equivalent level sacrificial skills are reached: >> [Void Colossus] :: A pathway geared towards enhancing the control of space, granting a form deserving of the name. >> [Kin of Terror] :: A fledgling of a powerful existence with unique traits. Its true value lies in its future possibilities. This belongs to .
Two possibilities lied in front of his eyes as he read over them carefully, understanding that his choices would determine whether he reached a stage of something he had gained an insignificant amount of knowledge about so far.
The pathway of [Void Colossus] seemed to provide more battle power, especially the mention of having a form deserving of the name. The [Kin of Terror] pathway was worded similarly to the upgrade of the Blood Lord that led to the Kin of Ancients, making Noah lean more towards this choice, along with the glaring shining words that read ’Terror’!
He chose the [Kin of Terror] pathway right away as the words in the stat panel shone, an additional set of abilities being added. He briefly glanced over them with shining eyes before he placed all the Skill Points into the abilities, wanting to see their most powerful versions right away.
SOUL [Amorphous Space Beast] (15/15) :: Abilities- Spatial Cage(5/5), Destabilize(5/5), Shattered Star(5/5), and Miniature Space(5/5). >> [Lesser Cthulhu] (45/45) :: Additional Abilities- Morph(5/5), Child of Space(5/5), Portals of Terror(5/5), and Sever(5/5). [Kin of Terror] (60/60) :: Additional Abilities- Aether Reinforcement (5/5), Multiplicative Ray Support (5/5), Triple on Cast Support (5/5), Lunacy Inducement (5/5)
[Aether Reinforcement] (5/5) :: All of the abilities preceding and following the Kin of Terror Skill Tree will be reinforced by the power of Aether passively. +300% Aether Damage, +100% Aether Penetration, +60% Fate and Chaos Damage Reduction.
[Multiplicative Ray Support] (5/5) :: Laser-based abilities similar to [Sever] will be further enhanced, the released rays of Aether increasing to 6 as their power is tripled.
[Triple on Cast Support] (5/5) :: The [Portals of Terror] ability is further enhanced, where there is an 80% chance to triple the appearance of portals of terror on cast, bringing the possible maximum cast portals to 54.
[Lunacy Inducement] (5/5) :: Those with weak minds cannot stand against the Kin of Terror. Lunacy Inducement allows for the user to bring their enemies into a negative mental state as they are slowly left defenseless. The effectiveness of this ability depends on the Soul Strength of the target as well as the user.
The additional abilities under the Lesser Cthulhu skill tree were proudly showing themselves in front of Noah as he read them over a few times. There were a few differences compared to previous additional skills as two of the new ones were called support skills that simply enhanced the previous skills to an insane degree.
[Multiplicative Ray Support] and [Triple of Cast] support effectively made the Sever and Portals of Terror abilities nonsensical at this moment, even Noah himself not being able to understand the extent until he tested them out himself. Even without having tested them though, their usability already seemed ridiculous! He wiped non-existent sweat off his forehead as he thought about any pitiful enemies that would have to face such terrifyingly enhanced abilities.
[Aether Reinforcement] was straightforward, and the only one that would need more time and a closer look in was the [Lunacy Inducement] ability which seemed to have its own terrific uses.
He wanted to test these abilities right away, and would very likely have the chance to in the next task that he had the clone lined up to do!
The Ancient Blood Clone that was still floating peacefully in the void of space got ready as his body rippled with power. For his next task, it was considered something bold as while his main body continued to move through the ranks of Celestials and got stronger in the Celestial Realm, the clone’s task was to increase the number of connected worlds amidst the training of skills and amassing of Chaos Particles and Fate Lines!
It was a very busy and non-stop past few days for his clone, but not even an ounce of tiredness could be felt as he always looked forward to the next steps.
For the first world in mind, and this was also the reason why he called the next set of events bold- it was to form a connection with the Magus World that he had personally taken the lives of its strongest forces, this world now currently having celestial disciples moving within as from the words of Grandmaster Vredral, it was being used as a place for them to hone their skills in fate while influencing the lives of the beings in it.
This meant that in the Magus World, there was a high chance of there being a Grandmaster that was overseeing the operations for the world that had the massacre of its strongest forces broadcasted, and his plans of forming a connection with the world would undoubtedly cause him to come in contact with whatever force the Celestials had stationed there!
Thus, he would have to move covertly in order to establish the connection, clear out any Celestials he found there, and then do something even crazier as his teleportation currently was leading him towards his homeworld where he would be picking up something the Celestials called a Cursed Treasure, something that they used as the reason to destroy an entire world.
He considered this next venture bold as he would ultimately be pulling off a disappearing act for an entire Prime World by the end of it...
