More quests and betrayal?

As Klyde left the adventures guild, he looked around for an Inn.

"This suit can only run for 23 more Hours so better use it conservatively. I should research on this Skypiria place since they keep talking about it. I guess that place is technology advanced. They might have something I can use to power this suit or a better replacement. "He then looked at the direction of the sun. "And would you look at that, the sun's gonna set soon." He said as he found an inn and walked in it.

As he walked in he saw an elf that looked like he ran the place. "Hi there sir, I'd like to rent a room here." Klyde said.

"A newcomer I see. I'm guessing you want a 1 person room with all the basic necessities?" The elf asked.

"Spot on. I need one for 7 days" Klyde answered.

"Well, it'll cost you. About 3 silver and 50 copper. And I'll also need your card."

Klyde took out his bag and gave the elf the required payment and handed his his card as well, and the the elf took them.

"Would you like to add a bath and meal to your plan for an extra 175 copper each?"

"Just a bath." He said as he took out the copper coins

The elf then gave him the key to his room with the number 12 on it.

"You'll be staying on room number 12."

"Okay then, thanks very much."

"It's my pleasure, sir."

Klyde then went upstairs to his room and immediately layed on his bed. "Living here's gonna be more of a chore than I thought." Klyde groaned. "I guess I should read the book.

«Akidra guide book removed from inventory»

Skypiria, a kingom on a floating rock flying over the oceans on Adinia. Skypiria is the most technologically advanced kindoms. Skypiria is the most powerful in terms of tech with their inventions of cybernetically modified people, mana powered vehicles, weaponry and more. The place is mostly home to the wingling race but still house other races as well. People who like in Skypiria tent to be very rich, smart and strong, though they mostly use the wind element. The country makes a lot of money through exporting their goods with other countries, though at a high price, which makes it rare to see people outside of Skypiria have access to their tech.

"Mhh, Is Skypiria as advanced as my old world, cybernetics should put is at the same level as my old world. Imagine it's actually like 20th or 21st century. I should hit the hay and read later." Klyde but his book back in his inventory and immediately dozed off.

He woke up the next day and immediately left the inn.

"If I plan on surviving here I should do some quests and level up. I can't rely on my suit for too long."

«Status»

‹Hunger: 50/100›

"Oh? Updates me on my hunger too. I should probably eat. I kinda feel stupid for not eating at the inn but whatever. And would you that."

He turned to see a diner next to him and entered. There was a decent amount of people in the diner but not that much, mostly humans and elves. And once again, everyone had their eye on him.

"Hey, isn't it that level 1 with Skypirian armor?"

"Well, isn't he a looker."

"I heard there was a guy running around with technological armor here. I guess that's him."

"Such a hottie, I'm guessing he's loaded too."

There was a mix of complements on his looks and some talking about the tech he wears.

'Wait, do people actually think I look good? Wonder why no one said anything at the guild. Meh, guess I'll get attention wherever I go.' Klyde thought as he sat down and looked at the menu.

"Excuse me sir, have you decided on what to order?" a human waitress girl asked.

"Yeah, I'd like a beef sandwich and Almun juice please." Klyde answered.

"Okay sir, you order will be coming right away." She said before leaving.

«New Quests»

‹Kill 5 Blue Foxes - 5Sp›

‹Aquire basic magic - 100Exp + Basic staff›

‹Complete before the day ends or there will be penalties›

'Mh? More quests? 2 this time. 5 blue foxes and magic, I'm totally not gonna struggle with that.' Klyde though.

When Klyde's order came he ate as quick as he could and payed before leaving. He ran all the to the guild and barged in, though the guild wasn't as crowded as he thought it'd be. Then then went to the quest board, looking for quests.

"Please tell me there's low level quests." He said as he scanned the board.

[Gather healing herbs]

[Rank F(5+)

[S1 per 5 hearbs]

"Seriously, this is the only one?" Klyde sighed "There's nothing I can do about it I guess."

Klyde to the quest and head out. As he was about to leave he noticed that Emily was glaring at him. He didn't know why she was glaring at her but ignored it. He payed more attention to the staff on her back.

His eyes widened in shock as he saw he saw her surname, Quinlore. 'No wonder why that brat brat ran out when I came back. They wanted to get my book.' Klyde though. He clenched his fist and walked out on the guild. 'I guess she approached me knowing I had the book and wanted to confirm. She thought I was weak and sent her brother or whatever after me. Be mad all you want, Emily, because the day you approach me, is the day you die.'
