It was the afternoon. One day after Klyde leveled up. Emily and Othen were at their home together, and it seemed like them having an argument. Emily had some basic armor covering her chest, legs and arms, her staff on her, it seemed like she was ready for a battle.
"Emily, it was our fault I lost an arm." Othen reasoned with Emily. "I attacked him because of greed, I deserve this for picking on him just because he's a lower level."
"Oh, so it's okay for you to wonder around without an arm now?! You almost died, Othen! And I'm not letting that punk live for that!" Emily yelled.
"Are you out out of your mind?! He'll kill you!"
"So what?!"
"You want to abandon me because of your quest for revenge, we deserved it and should live with it!."
"I'm not abandoning you!"
"What will killing him even solve?!"
"I can sell that armour of his to get you a limb from Skypiria."
"And you'd throw away your life for that. If he finds out we're related no way will he spare you!."
"This conversation is over!" Emily ran out of the house, slamming the door behind her.
Emily and Othen had not received the news about Klyde's new level and she didn't know what she was about to go up against.
Emily entered the guild and looked around for Klyde but could find him anywhere.
"Aella! Where's Klyde?!" Emily asked Aella as she slammed her hands on her table.
"Relax Emily, I know the guys hot but you don't have to be this intense." Emily teased. "He took a quest and left the guild, so he's probably outside the town."
"He's not that attractive and I don't like him!"
"Why wouldn't I just to conclusions with the protection you're wearing." Aella shrugged.
"Wha- What is that even supposed to mean?!"
"It's nothing sweetie, just hurry along to him before I steal him~."
"Emily rolled her eyes and left the guild."

Outside the town in the forest. Klyde had just stabbed a frost wolf's chest, killing it.

"Thats number 50." He cut the wolfs chest in half and took a blue orb covered in ice and put it in his inventory. "I finally killed all 50. That's enough grinding for today, I should go deeper in the forest tomorrow."

As Klyde walked out of the forest he met Emily, who was waiting outside for him.
'Hi there, Klyde, I've been waiting for you." Said Emily with a forced smile.
"Meh, I'm good. And you?" Klyde asked, though his expression was neutral.
"I wanted to talk about about something."
"What is it?" Klyde asked.
"About your book, and…"
"You mean the book Othen tried to take from me?"
Emily clenched her fist and readied her staff, aiming it at Klyde. "Yes, it is."
"I guess I needed a good challenge."

"Too bad the system doesn't tell me your strength." Klyde mumbled as he started walking to Emily who was preparing an Earth spell.
She was making several rock spikes in the air, ready to be fired at Klyde who, even though had his suit on, didn't activate it's enhancement feature.

Seeing this screen, Klyde grinned and put his sword away. 'With my sword out of the way I can move freely and test my magic.'
As Emily shot the spikes at him, Klyde started running towards her, dodging each spike. He made two fireballs in his hands and fired them at Emily.
Emily created a wall in front of her, blocking the fireballs.
Klyde created another fireball and jumped over the wall. He then shot the fireball at her whilst in mid air and it made a small explosion.
Klyde landed to the group and started firing a flurry of fireballs at her. Three landed and she another wall to block them, though she didn't seem to have taken much damage.
'If only I could tell what her magic power is. She's taken a small amount of damage from me so it seems that she might be equal or higher than me.'

Klyde stopped his bombardment on the wall and ran to it. He started punching the wall with his fists, creating a crater, slowing breaking it. Emily created spikes where Klyde was attacking and it managed to pierce his hand a bit, but also breaking it.

"You think hiding in there's gonna do anything?!" Klyde yelled at her. "Aren't you supposed to be attacking you coward. You're the one who started this."
Klyde jumped back and started making a large fireball. Just as he was about to fire the spikes on the wall shot at him, then the wall peices followed.
Klyde protected his head while they were hitting his suit and doing no damage. The two wall peices came after and we're about to slam hi but he quickly lifted them.
"Guess I can lift heavy crap like this now, hehe" He said and tossed the pieces away.
Emily's eyes widened in shock after seeing this, she knew he would be strong but not that strong.
'He's incredibly strong but is relying on magic, and his magic power doesn't seem to be that high. What is he scheming.' Emily though.
As she was about to prepare another attack, she saw him hold out his hand and a wand appeared.
"I'm gonna put a lot of my mana into this attack, even if it's a basic fireball and her MP is higher than mine I'll at least do some damage."
Klyde started creating a large fireball will all of his mana.

He then threw the fireball at her. With a limited amount of time to react, she gave herself a resistance effect to tank some of the damage.
As the fireball landed, it exploded, leaving a house sized crater. And Emily was lying on the floor, bruzed and her armour damaged but still alive.
She tried standing up but Klyde grabbed her by the head.
"Give me one good reason to not end you right here, right now?" Klyde said.
Emily didn't even bother to reaso with him, knowing she'll die either way.

'She still has a decent amount of health but is weak. Probably because of the percentage.' Klyde though. "You're lucky I have a heart." He threw her to the floor. "Never talk to me again, got that?!"
Klyde looked at her one last time before he started heading back to the town.
At the Adventures Guild.
Klyde places 10 of the Frost Wolf cores on the table. "Here are the cores, Aella."
"You took longer than expected." Said Aella. "I was worried you might have gotten killed or something."
"Where'd the formality go? I swear to God you've been acting weird lately."
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Did you manage to level up today?"
"Yeah, I'm 22 now."
"Okay, well here's your payment. 5 silver."
"Yeah, tha…"
