'Looks like those two leveled up. But I'd still crush them.' Klyds thought, clearly irritated at their presence. 'I should probably go out again, there's nothing more I can do and I need to level up more.'

Wth that, Klyde left the guild and was now outside in the forest.

'Something I've learned from being here is that I should just immediately trust someone, no matter how nice they look. Another thing is that monsters… are more dangerous than I thought, but I still need to level up so I'm forced to fight them.'

As Klyde was looking for more around he smelt something really good, almost like cooked meat. He arrived at the source and saw two adventures cooking meat with what looked like White Frost Wolf hide on the side.

One of them was an elf girl with long, blonde hair, green eyes and bow besides her, but surprisingly no quiver. The other, a muscular orc girl with some scars and a greatsword besides her.

'Did they kill those, or is that one of the many wolves I massacred. Why'd they take the hide thought, those aren't requested in the guild.'

Klyde started thinking whether he should approach the two or not, afraid of a fight breaking out. He soon decided to approach the two, but equipped his suit had his Blodd Sword in his hand just in case.

"Hello there you two." Klyde said as he waved his hand.

"Oh, a human." The orc said. "Great, what do you want?!"

"Uruga. I told you not to be this rude to others!" The elf said to the orc before turning to Klyde. "Hi there, How may we help you?" The elf said with a warm smile.

"I was wondering what you do we're doing out here. I thought most adventures won't be hunting monsters since there's a dangerous beast here." Klyde asked.

"Oh, um, we were just preparing to leave." The elf said as she chuckled nervously.

"Why are you even gathering White Frost Wolf hide for, the guild doesn't have quests for those."

"Well, we found a bunch of dead wolves without tails or cores so we just took the hide for our quest." The orc responded.

"Uruga!" The elf exclaimed.

"What guild do guys do quests for?" Klyde asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"The, um…"

"You aren't from here, are you." Klyde cut off the elf.

"Yeah…" Said the elf.

As Klyde was about to say something, he heard a loud howl again. He looked behind the adventures and saw 5 wolves approaching them, though they weren't the source.

"Looks like we have company." Said Klyde as he pointed behind them.

"Maybe I should have ate before I left." Said Klyde.

"Does this look like the time to worry about food?!" The elf yelled at him.

"Oh, right, you're level 30. What about your friend?"

"She's 45."

"Guess I'll handle this one on my own."

"Are you insane!" The said exclaimed but Klyde was already attacking the wolves.

Not wanting to waste time, Klyde was mixing attacks with meteor slash's on the wolves.

After that be backed away and made his flame bow, loaded with 5 arrows.

He shot the arrows which did 100 HP each which killed one of the wolves, but he was now left on low mana.

He swapped his Blood Sword for Titan Slayer and started charging at the wolves, dodging all their ice magic again and with one swipe he killed the other 2 wolves.

"Just 2 more to go." Said Klyde. "With meteor slash dealing 340 HP of damage, and the amount of HP they have I can easily kill that one with a meteor slash, the other I'll have to mix in a basic attack in there."

He switched back to his Blood Sword and went back in for the kill. He used a meteor slash on the first wolf with less HP, stabbed the other wolf and finished it off with meteor slash.

"Another pack of wolves has been killed." Klyde said. 'Maybe I should take the hide too, I'm gonna leave here soon and other places might need this hide.'

He first cut open the chests of the wolves to take out the cores, then took the tails before he started removing the hide. After a while of painful removing the hide, he put everything in his inventory, including the bodies.

As he stood up he noticed that the two has been staring at him for a while, they had their weapons on their hands as if preparing for an attack.

"Is there a problem guys?" Klyde asked.

"N-no, nothing at all. Quick question. What level are you again?" The elf said, stuttering a bit.

"Oh, I'm level 30."

Both of the girls gaws dropped. How the hell did a level 30 beat not one but 5 White Frost Wolves, and without any trouble.

"W-wha…?" Both of the girls said.

"Oh, it must be the gear you have. Those things looks powerful enough. Hehe…" Said the elf.

'Im guessing the elf is a mage since mana is her highest stat.' Klyde though. "Well, I'll be leaving. Bye.

"G-goodbye." Said both girls.

Klyde left the two and was now looking for more monsters.

"Getting 12800 Exp is going to be pain. I might have to fight even more powerful monsters. Isn't there anything that can help me gain exp?! And what's with the constant howling and the crap ton of wolves."

As he said that, he heard glowing from his side behind some bushes. He rolled his eyes and readied his sword, waiting for another wolf to come out, but what happened next was something he wasn't expecting.

A black spike came out and he crossed his arms and manages to block it just in time, though the plate on his forearms cracked.

"Excuse me?! Is the system trying to tempt me to fight whatever those things are?!" Klyde asked himself. "It's optional, and for 5000 exp… That'll give me a huge boost in exp plus the exp from killing them."

The Kyther Wolves slowly came out from the bush. They had black fur and glowing yellow eyes. Purple stripes covered their body. They all slowly surrounded him, giving him no route to escape.
