The trapped girl could only cry in the face of despair. She couldn't even kill herself. Her words are just empty threats.
Confirming that the girl has not been touched, Farco brings his attention back to the matter at hand.
"I have something else I need from you," Farco says as he turns his back to the bandit leader and checks out everything valuable inside this tent.
"Anything you need, I will make sure to fulfill it," the bandit leader says with confidence as he wants to please Farco. Farco is someone that could help him gain more fortune in the future.
The bandit leader knows that the winds are changing in this country and it will soon fall into chaos because of Heaven's acknowledgment that occurred a few days ago. It is the perfect timing for someone like him to benefit from.
In such dangerous times, it is crucial to associate with someone like this old man who comes from a mighty power.
"I want you to send some of your men to the Whiteworro village and cause havoc there. Your men are free to do whatever they wish," Farco orders.
"But sir, didn't you say not to touch that village?" the bandit leader asked. "Change of plans. I don't need to explain my choices to you," Farco says with a slightly aggressive tone.
"I understand sir, your wish is my command," the bandit leader instantly changes his tune and agrees to Farco.
'What is this old fucker trying to do?' The bandit leader questions himself.
He met this old man a few weeks ago and almost lost his life at his hands, luckily he was spared under the notion that he would serve the man.
The old man then told him to set camp near the Whiteworro village, but not to touch it in any manner. This confused the bandit leader, but he went with the plan.
Now this old man tells him to attack the village. This doesn't make sense.
The bandit leader is not wrong assuming such because things are definitely not right, little does he know his fate has already been sealed. Farco only spared him for a specific purpose.

Back at Farco's house, Brax is cooking up something. After going through every book he could find in the house, he started preparing for the events that would occur at any moment.
With his blatant ignorance of Farco's plan, fake Farco will try something, and Brax needs to be ready for it.
Luckily, Farco's basement is filled with many things that were of great use to him.
Brax spends the whole night cooking up things that will grant him massive success against anything that will be thrown at him.
___________________
Day breaks and Brax is greeted with the sound of the village coming alive. He can hear the people starting their day, but it matters little to him.
Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
Brax is just waiting for some reaction and he didn't have to wait long for it.
As the sun reaches sky-high, some people come running to Farco's residence and start calling for him.
"Oh, great immortal!!! Please save us, save our village!!!" Brax starts hearing cries for help.
"Looks like this is it," Brax murmurs and walks out of the residence to see a bunch of mortals on their knees waiting for him with urgency in their eyes.
Seeing Brax step out, their eyes gleam with hope. "Oh great immortal, please save our village!!! A bunch of bandits are attacking the village. Please help us!!" a middle-aged man at the front spoke up.
"How many bandits are there?" Brax asks.
"Six bandits are running around and pillaging everything. They have already killed a lot of people. Please save our village, Oh great immortal," the man continues to beg.
'Just six?' Brax thinks. 'Looks like he really wants me to take part in his play.' By sending just six bandits, Farco wants Brax to seek out the rest of the bandits.
It was the original plan all along. To make Brax look for the bandits.
But Brax didn't play along, so Farco had to make a commotion. Sending a few bandits to cause havoc inside the village will definitely garner everyone's attention, forcing Brax to take action.
These villagers, who were clueless about these bandits, are now suddenly under their mercy. If Brax abandons them, the sect's reputation will be questioned.
Farco did the right thing by doing this, but little does he know that it is all under Brax's calculation. Making the village chief feed false information about his intention to take everything and leave forced Farco to make his actions public, which he had avoided till now.
Farco is doing the bare minimum right now by just sending six bandits, but this is enough for Brax to gauge what is happening.
By now Brax is sure that there is an ambush waiting for him inside the forest, but now he has an opportunity to get ahead of the ambush and catch them off guard.
"Take me to them," Brax orders. The middle-aged man in front quickly gets to his feet and guides Brax to the part of the village where the bandits are causing havoc.

Brax arrives at the northern part of the village and is immediately greeted by the sight of burning huts and houses.
Bodies of mortal men are littered on the streets, which are painted in blood.
He can hear screams of a few women coming from a few houses and Brax can guess what's going on.
The mortals who followed Brax here feel their blood boiling from the devastation in front of them, but they are completely helpless to do anything, as they are just mortals. They cannot fend off these cultivating bandits.
Brax looks at the bandit, who is just a Qi condensation first-stage cultivator, standing guard outside, keeping an eye out for his companions.
Wanting to drag the rest of them out, Brax approaches the bandit while the mortals stay behind as they know their place. None of them have a death wish.
The bandit, who is on guard, notices someone approaching. He is surprised by this man's bravery, but his expression quickly turns into a frown when he notices that this approaching man is a cultivator.
His frown turns to uncertainty when he notices that the approaching cultivator is someone stronger than him, as he can't gauge Brax's cultivation level.
The bandit then pays attention to the robe this cultivator is wearing and is immediately hit with a heavy realization.
"ENEMY!!!!" He immediately alerts his companions as he identifies the approaching cultivator as a disciple of the Eleven Mountain Sect.
His hand immediately falls on his sword's handle as he prepares himself for a fight, but before he can even unsheathe his sword, he sees the approaching cultivator turn into a blur and rush towards him at incredible speed.
Brax bolts towards the bandit and immediately kicks the bandit's chest using a front kick. The bandit is sent flying before crashing into the ground, then continues to roll further a few meters.
The bandit is not dead but he feels he is about to as he isn't able to breathe. He gasps for air before coughing several times. Blood paints the ground as he coughs it out. He has suffered some serious internal damage.
Seconds in, the other five bandits rush out of the huts and houses. Some of them have pouches in their hands while others come out fixing their pants.
They see the bandit guard clutching his chest and coughing blood, and their eyes instantly lock onto the attacker.
