Anna, too, is getting overwhelmed as she watches the place she called home for 19 years disappear from her sight.
"Will we ever return, master?" Anna asks as she feels her words getting stuck in her throat. "I don't know. You are now a cultivator, and cultivators rarely look back. If fate wills, we will be back, but that 'if' is almost non-existent," Brax says.
Anna tries to find comfort in her master's words. "Fate," she murmurs and continues to drive the carriage.
Feeling bored inside, Brax joins Anna upfront.
"Where are we going, master?" she asks. She still doesn't know their next destination. "We are going to Greenwound. I need to do something there. Then we will return to my sect."
Anna nods.

As night falls, they stop to rest and cultivate. Brax doesn't need to cultivate further as he is already at the door of the next realm, but he decides to do so and store more Qi in his body to test his physical limit.
Plus, having more Qi stored in the body will be beneficial for building his foundation when he is ready.
With this in mind, both Anna and Brax began cultivating again, their moans lost in the middle of the woods.
On daybreak, they were on the move again. Brax and Anna's relationship continues to get better as they get to know each other little by little.
Anna realizes that her master is exceptionally intelligent, his actions which looked and felt so cold at the beginning now start making sense to her. She wonders if the oath she took in the name of heaven has any influence on her thoughts.
But what's done has been done. Brax is now her whole life.
Brax has learned a lot more about Anna. The shy girl is not so shy after all. As she has gotten used to his presence and has accepted their relationship, she is now much more open to him.
She is talkative and affectionate towards him making their bond deepen.

Brax doesn't mind this development. For the cold bastard that he is, he is not immune to human relationships. Knowing that everything Anna feels for him is real and her being absolutely loyal to him, he doesn't mind reciprocating it back to her.
By day three, they look like a couple in love. Anna stuck close to him, smelling him, kissing him, and showing her affection to the fullest.
'Dual Cultivation works wonders,' Brax thinks. Even he can't believe the level of affection development that has taken place in Anna. Nobody falls so deeply in love with someone in just three days.
'There is definitely more to Dual Cultivation, I need to learn more,' Brax thinks as one never has enough information regarding anything. There is always more to learn and new things to discover about something.
After three days of traveling, Brax and Anna finally arrive at their destination.
They see a massive city in front of them. The walls of the city seem to be touching the sky. Green patterns are embedded into the walls making it look unique.
The city is already emitting a certain charm from the outside so Brax wonders what the inside of this city would look like.
This is his first time visiting a city in this world. He wonders how different a city of this world would be compared to his previous one. Would it have a similar structure and design to the medieval period, or would it be something he has never seen before?
As the carriage approaches the city gate, two guards block its path with their long spears. "HALT!!!" One of them shouts.
Seeing the well-built carriage without any influential insignia on it makes the guards salivate at the thought of extortion.
Their eyes fell on Anna making them almost lose their mind. Her face and body throw them into their deep fantasies.
Brax frowns on seeing this but doesn't do anything. He doesn't want to create an unnecessary scene.
"Gentlemen," Brax calls and snaps them out of their infatuated state. They turn their head to look at Brax and immediately lose the color on their face.
The reason - The sect uniform that Brax is wearing. Greenwound City falls under the Eleven Mountain sect jurisdiction, so anyone belonging to the sect instantly holds a lot of prestige in this city.
"Honored sect disciple, welcome to Greenwound City." the guards immediately fix their behavior and greet Brax with respect.
Greenwound City is still a mortal city, with a majority of its residents being mortals. Only a handful of people living in this city practice cultivation.
Those who practice cultivation are from influential clans and noble houses.
Its strongest cultivator in the city is a tenth-stage Foundation Establishment realm cultivator. He is the city lord, who works for the Eleven Mountain sect.
"Please enter," knowing not to mess with Brax, the guards let him pass as they didn't want to offend a cultivator. Giving up on their ridiculous idea of extorting him.
"You should put on a veil," Brax says to Anna. Though he is a sect disciple and has some influence here, he doesn't want to take risks. He knows the people of this world are a little more barbaric than he is used to.
Anna nods and puts on her veil.
The duo finally enter the city and are greeted by a bustling crowd along with multiple assaults to their senses.
This is a common city experience when one enters a city.
