The wolf growls at me as a slowly back away.
Easy boy, you don't want me, I have no meat I'm just a rock.
> Examine : Young Wolf level 4
Ah I guess he wants me for the experience not the meat.
The wolf leaps over the stream and starts running towards me, I trip over myself in my haste to back away.
The wolf pounces on me and tries to bite my leg
> You have hit the wolf for 3 damage
the wolf yelps and backs away, one of its teeth clearly chipped.
It crouches down low while I struggle to get up, and it leaps on me.
> You have been hit for 2 damage. 18/20 hp remaining
I lean back slightly as it jumps on me, my tripod legs being surprisingly stable, and it falls back a few steps confused.
I use the time while its surprised to start running towards it
> You have hit the wolf for 1 damage
I run straight into him and he falls back onto his side, he quickly jumps up and slams me with a paw
> You have been hit for 1 damage. 17/20 hp remaining
I spin to the side as he does that, and he misses with a second swipe.
As he leans down to pounce again, I charge him and jump straight into his head

He falls back onto his side, and he seems to be struggling to breathe, and he slowly gets back up.
Feeling this is my chance I run straight at him again.
He tucks his tail and tries to run, but adjusting my run slightly I slam into the back of him and as he lands on the ground, fall on top of him

Ah got him, that was easier than I thought. My adrenaline would be pumping, if rock elementals had adrenaline.
Seems anything which just stands in front of me is something I can defeat, I am glad its a young wolf and just kept charging at me though, anything more experienced would of definitely just pounced and retreated.

Ah well, Hiding would be good. If it actually worked on anything. Spikes sounds usefull, and if I get attacked it would definitely be a great idea. But it is also temporary, and picking anything temporary here just seems like a bad idea.
That leaves a whistle hole, and at least I would be able to communicate or whistle a little tune with it.
> You have selected Whistle Hole.

Pain.
All I feel is a sudden pain, like being stabbed with a very long sword through my side.
I didn't realize that by choosing this, it would literally carve it into my body.
Praying for it to end I feel it slowly start to subside as I feel something missing out of me.
> This evolution is complete. Constitution -2
Ah damn, that would of been nice to know before hand.
I whistle, it makes a high pitched scream.
I try and shape the whistle.
It makes a high pitched scream.
Great, I now have the ability to scream, and a weak point. I received nothing else out of this, no method to communicate, no way to do music.
I feel ripped off.
I see vibrations in the distance, and quickly start following the road away from the stream, Wolves usually come in packs, and if that's a young wolf I don't want to fight an adult wolf.
As I run/Waddle down the path, I hear howling behind me.
This is not good.
I keep running along as quick as I can, Hopefully they wont be able to track me as I am a rock.
I look down at myself.
A rock covered in blood.
Ah crap.
