It has been four days since I have arrived here in this world. After fighting with the sparkly birds I found the other day, I have slain a few A-class monsters residing here in the Solum Plateau like the Copper Body Cobra Snake, and the Silver Freezing Hedgehog. But I haven’t found any more S-class monsters lately.
Camping outdoors is nice too, I just have raise an igloo shape from the ground using earth magic [Terraform] and lay a magic formation to ward away monsters, and finish it up with my strongest barrier [Solitude]. The night views from capital cities and tourist destinations can’t beat the sea of stars here at night, and the two moons especially looks so cool I took a few photos using my [Magical Photography].
“I also developed a very particular habit of loners. And that is talking to myself of course.”
It wasn’t this bad back in earth since I speak to my team mates while playing…
There isn’t any human habitat near here too, I have fully mapped out the entire plateau and there’s just a swamp to the south, a forest to the east, and the mountain range in the north to west.
“As expected, I should tame a monster. Maybe a slime or a legendary Fenrir, most preferably female so they can become bishoujos when I make them evolve.”
What am I even saying now. There’s no way in hell that a slime would be in a high level area like this. Should I head down and go east finally?
I heaved a deep sigh and closed my eyes to sleep. Leave today’s problem for tomorrow, it will solve by itself, probably.

Even if there’s no bathtubs or other convenient appliances from earth, in this place there’s actual magic and a perverted God up there which is more effective than any ritual I did back home to boost my luck whenever those bloodsucking game companies release new characters in gacha games. Before going out to hunt a suitable monster to tame and train to be my partner, I created a [True Massive Fortune Blessing] magical formation, and offered some prayers to old guy God.
I think I’m all set now.
“Watch over me please old guy. Let me find a good monster to tame.”
And so I headed towards the forest to find my fated monster.

It has been two days since I entered the forest. And my monster companion? Still nothing.
All I have met were various kinds of [Treants]. Normal Treant, Frost Treant, Treant that multiples, Poison Treant. There’s even a Treant of illusions that was A-class monster. I have already mapped around 60% of the Blek Forest, but I won’t give up! There should be a slime or a pack of fenrirs in here right?
I slapped my thighs and got up once more, casting [Existence Erasure] to myself then activating [Assimilation] to mimic the life force of the plants and trees there is around me, I flew over the treetops using wind magic I created [Hover].
I’m heading towards the lake that showed up in my map last night when I took care of my business.
“Slime habitats are near water right. This day for sure I’m getting my pet monster. Then become a master trainer and defeat the leagues in this world.”
I probably should train my body next after this. Maybe I’d create a dojo in the future too.
As I neared the lake I picked up two massive presences, maybe two S-class monsters? No, wait there’s only one S-class monster and one A-class monster.
I flew higher and the a beautiful lake entered my vision. Well it should’ve been beautiful, except for the littered corpses on its bay, and two monsters currently fighting and causing even more destruction.
“To think I’d actually find an S-class slime huh.”
The monsters fighting was an S-class [Draconic Slime Overlord] and an A-class [Cryoppotamus]. But is it just me or is the slime kind of weak for an S-class?

What’s with their berserk status. You mean that white hill behind the big slime is a dragon’s corpse? That explains those human corpses then.
“That dragon could’ve been my pet bro… dammit. I should’ve just went straight here instead of sleeping last night!” I started to regret my decision and begun to put the blame on these creatures fighting in front of me.
“If you stupid slime didn’t damage the corpse I could’ve made it a puppet or something! And you stupid hippo didn’t even protect your master properly! Both of you DIE!!!!”
I blinked right in between those two clashing monsters and cast [Anvil] to restrict their motions.
“Savage creatures. Turn into experience for me! [Forbidden Magic: Netherflames]!”
I raised my hand and a ball of black and cyan flames around 5 meters in diameter formed above it, which I split into two between my both hands and threw at both of those monsters.
The Cryoppotamus roared in unimaginable pain, and the Draconic Slime writhed into weird shapes and screeched. The spell Netherflames, one of the Fire Magic system’s forbidden spells do not appear hot even when you’re extremely near. But when you touch it, your body would feel nothing yet your soul would be dealt with extreme damage and you will feel a glimpse of hell. If this fire spreads over your body, almost nothing can save you as your soul itself burns to nothingness.
A few moments later silence filled the area as the Draconic Slime Overlord and the Cryoppotamus died at the same time.

I heaved another sigh and looked at the corpses of humans and monsters below me. Did the massive fortune ritual backfire to me I wonder.
