Sense deprived are people born naturally without sight or hearing, or pious individual who has removed their sight and hearing in exchange for a constant passive thrumming of magic that acts as sonar. Some of them go so far as to remove touch so they may stop themselves from feeling pleasure. This leads most sense deprived to be gluttons, it's not like it's against belief to be overweight.
Since the team of reinforcements came prepared they had two on-site, but one was currently in a food coma due to not being monitored. His pay has been deducted.
After the one who was awake was debriefed on the situation through a mental link, the only other way to speak with a sense deprived is through touch, which the majority don't, or they need a complex scent communication set-up that requires years of training. A mental link was more affordable and quicker than those methods.
They reached the clearing without incident, the S.D. began to navigate through the trees, bushes, and creatures to get into the clearing. None of the assembled creatures showed hostility so he went further into the clearing, and began to search with his nose with little luck. He then boosted his passive magic to see the entire clearing simultaneously.
He instantly noticed debris of some kind that dominated the area with mana in the exact center of the clearing. Noticing that there didn't seem to be any harm in using his magic near it, he got right next to it and began to ponder if he should take it with him. He had the space for it since it wasn't large. But the adverse effects of it could affect everyone back at the camp.
He put it into his inner coat pocket and turned to see that all of the creatures were slumped over. Not knowing the reason and hoping to not find out anytime soon, he scampered off back in the direction of the camp.

"The S.D. is back and he claims that whatever he has can't be seen and needs to be sealed immediately with a constant drain of mana. Do any of you have a problem with his decision?" said a small woman.
"Well, it's not like we could veto that considering we can't even see it without supposedly losing our minds, so I don't think that will be a problem to arrange." said the leader of the camp, a nearing seven-foot woman with a buzz cut and withered features. "I just hope that we have the materials on hand, as he is currently outside of the camp in case he loses hold of it."

"Let's get that set up and then we can fuck off back to our city and enjoy ourselves." said a two-foot muscle monster of a man.

Derxin was going about his day as any other Animal Caretaker would, if he had any animals that is. Due to his Job being a caretaker and not a tamer or owner of animals, they had run off. He was used to animals not showing up for a few days at a time and sometimes even disappearing entirely, either due to death or finding a mate, but he had never seen all of his animals take off at once.
Since he was the only Animal Caretaker in town he was still getting business, for food and grooming, but he wasn't getting any of the money from selling byproducts of animals. This left him with less spending money for luxuries than usual.
Since his animals were gone and his schedule was free for the rest of the day, he set off into town to buy ingredients to make food for the different animals in his town.
The town, Muxpiel, had only around 300 people in its borders but was home to a large number of ingredients due to its central location inside 3 biome borders. It only takes a few days in each direction to come across things most people would need weeks or even months to get access to. This is why Derxin had set up shop out here instead of being in a large city.
It was because his job was for passion and not for greed that he was content living in a small town with fewer luxuries.
Derxin had just walked out of town when he came across an animal he had never seen before, which isn't that rare considering the recent monster migration, but was interesting nonetheless as it didn't seem wary or dangerous.
A perfect animal to take in to have around for fun. He approached it and watched as it looked up at him cheeped. A sound he had never heard before either.
He reached out a hand to see if it would take any interest in him and was pleasantly surprised when it rushed into his hand and searched through his fingers. He began to laugh and cautiously tried to pick it up to see its reaction.
It happily let him pick it up and let him bring it into town. He couldn't wait to see what its habits were, what it would prefer to eat, what it would do around other animals, or if it would also be an inside animal. He was eager to find out.

The chick had been tired and had even begun to contemplate another nap before it went any further when a tall person entered its view. It cheeped at them and then debated on whether it should ignore it when it crouched down and reached out a hand. The chick was quite hungry despite how relaxed it looked, it had only been drinking water and occasionally eating random small insects and grubs.
It noticed nothing in the hand after a bit of searching when it was slowly picked up. It didn't protest or fight as it had long noticed the varied smell of food on the person and could only assume it was being brought somewhere to be fed. It couldn't wait to have food.
