"So let me get this straight. One, you come from somewhere beyond our observable universe. Two, you're here for an 'assignment' from your teacher. Three, you have supernatural powers."
From the corner of my room, the blue-haired being paused for an answer that would be both entertaining for her and frustrating for him.
"Let's say you're probably... mostly right about the first. Two is too boring to think about. And.....for three I have 1000 exact powers of varying magnitudes that can bend the limits of your understanding." she answered casually while rocking back and forth on the most cushioned and well-kept chair in the room.
-Why am I in charge of following this sassy god girl thing anyways
"I'm bored. Does Earth thing have anything more fun to do," she said while walking uncomfortably close to me.

She was abnormally tall. Taller than me, an adult that constantly had to arch his back to get through doors. She was apparently still in school. That intense gaze she was giving me radiated an intimidating yet playful. In those intelligent eyes, I saw a spark of affection. If you pulled apart the veil that is the sky you'd get her hair. If captured two drops of the sun you'd get her eyes.
"I'm going out I don't care if you come or not," she said in a distant voice accompanied by the sound of the wooden door gliding on its hinges.

"Kayn?"
"Hmmm?" he replied half-heartedly
"What else did she say?" pressed the gruffy man beside him.
"She was going to find something fun to do with human traditions and stuff," he said as he slurped a thread of soba noodles.
"Interesting... do you like her?" suddenly accused a pair of wheat-haired siblings behind him.
"Maybe...WHAT no I"
"How long were you listening for!?"
