He was dead, that's what he thought, he felt like he was floating, like he was sleeping..but aware he was.."is this what death feels like?" He questioned inwardly. No. No this was not how death felt, right now he was trapped in a limbo between life and death, but it was ultimately not death, so he was technically just unconscious, obviously he didn't realize this, but if he was dead he most likely would not have thoughts because...well...your dead? The reason he survived was pure luck, something that was not mentioned was that they have no eyes, they track purely on vibration and noise, the first hit had blown kylos across the room, he immediately entered the limbo-like state, therefore he had no control over his body, making him completely still, he still had laboured breaths coming out of his mouth, that was filled with hot, sticky, and irony blood, he was going to choke on his own blood if someone didn't move him, or if he didn't find the willpower to. Despite the laboured breaths coming out of his mouth audibly, he was on a team mission fortunately, and they created quite a racket fighting the others, someone was probably going to die, they would have to fight two, but right now he had to focus on not choking and stabilizing his breath. He hurt, his head, his lungs, his entire body hurt, the worse part was that he felt like he was going to throw up, the repulsive smell of his own blood, urine, and excrement were floating in the air, one thing he could say for certain was that he had a punctured lung, blood doesn't just "trickle" out of your mouth unless you have a punctured lung or some kind of wound in the throat area, unfortunately he had to learn that from a doctor that was currently residing in the salvation he was at, he thought (from movies, manga and anime) that if you get wounded in any kind of way, blood would just trickle for no reason, that was not the case. Unfortunately a punctured lung was serious in this situation, without medical tools he would likely suffer great damage from this lung, they had knifes and pain killers and a couple antiseptics, but he doubted that could do the job properly, though if he wanted even a sliver of hope, he just hoped that he was a surgeon and not a pediatric care doctor or nurse or something like that. Okay, the Maelin left the room, he was currently on the brink of choking to death on his own blood, unfortunately they could not move him any-which-way because of the wound he had, if he got handled roughly his organs would probably fall out, then he'd die, although if they picked them up and stuffed them into his stomach again, since organs place themselves, he'd probably survive, but considering how dirty this floor was he figured he had a better chance not letting his organs fall to the ground. He wasn't a medical professional, nor was he even close to one, but considering that his organs were halfway out of his body and he could barely move, he assumed that the injuries were pretty serious, he assumed anyone could see that much. But right now his only hope is for a teammate to find him, wrap some kind of garment around his stomach (which he wasn't even sure if he was supposed to do that in this kind of situation), carefully empty his mouth of the blood by gently turning his head and letting the blood fall out of his mouth, then rush him back to the residence. Right now he was filthy, and disgusting, but that was the least of his concerns, he couldn't open his eyes because he was too weak, so he could only count on footsteps to determine if a teammate was there or if he was gonna be turned into the next organ soup bread bowl. With that as his final thought he passed out. Before the adrenaline eased the pain, and only made him feel as if he was getting skewered, it had worn off. He passed out due to pain.
