The [Skill] that [The World] shoved my way was, in a nutshell, the most hideous hazard combination of functions I had ever seen, five-year-old me could have programmed something more functional in the detention cell using spit.
But beggars can't be choosers, so I needed to fix it. As far as I can tell this [Thing] must fulfill some conditions to even properly activate, and while it has plenty of sub-functions it reads more as if someone saw something nice and tried to do the same, as far as I can see this thing can:
-Read the mana wavelengths (How? God knows because this thing doesn't say)
-Interpret that information.
-Sent said information to the core of the planet.
-Display said information.
-Hijack the mana wavelength
-Spread itself using mana wavelengths
-Seed its functions in a new host
-Repeat
It looks closer to what we could call a computer virus than to a [Skill], but hey...Can't complain about what the boss wants right?
This poor kid will probably die from information overdose if he or she ever tries to use the thing before the brain has finished forming, so I need to do two things:
1) Make sure the [Skill] works, I need to make sure they work without making its host brain mush.
2) Make sure the kid/girl survives at least till I can dislodge whatever parts of [Me] that can't leave this child's soul.
Easy.

So I managed to do it!
I only needed to butcher the goddamned thing to make it work!
I decided that since the stupid thing didn't want to work I needed to make an environment where it could work, so I made a [System] for it to work, the girl (It's a girl by the way, I checked her soul to confirm) has enough mana and space in her to work with so I'm building a type of [Loci], similar to what Catherine describe they used in her current dimension to work mana.

This will let me work easier within the dimensional laws, of course, this girl should have one already, but mine will only work in the outer layers, whatever she has can integrate mine when she grows. And it will no longer be my problem anyway!
So for now I decided to build it using my former lab as the starting point, and since the connection to my dimension is still strong that was easy enough to do...
I...May have siphoned part of the original crystal lode to this pseudo metaphysical space, and that in turn let me recreate [Alexa], she does not remember the last week but that is fine. I will purge that memory from myself to make sure she never ever finds out what went at the end.

The stupid skill is finished, and I ended up going overboard with the thing, but this girl has potential, her bigger vessel grants her a higher-than-average mana conductivity.
Her body soaks mana like no one, she may even rival me in talent!
God my bloodline is made of monsters....
I'm rambling, the [System] I made to make sure this doesn't implode is done, and I divided the original problem child into several components.
[Status] : This one will let the girl look at a visual representation of her body and mana conductivity, this will show an easy way to understand how her body attributes are going by using an RPG system. Nice and easy am I right?
[Identify]: The main problem child, this will take a screenshot of a mana wavelength and parse it through my [System] that will in turn interpret the information, create a readout easy to understand, and send it to the girl, the full screenshot will be fed into the original direction intended, but will give some perks to the girl. I'm such a nice guy I know.
[Inventory]: ...It was my mistake (Again) okay. I found the stupid thing found out how I turned something from the material plane into mana (The crystal lode) and the thing was trying to imitate my process. So trying to fix it didn't work, so I had to finish the work. This meant that I had to create a whole skill dedicated to that and feed it to the thing. At least the girl will have a nice perk in the way of a sub-dimensional storage that turns physical things into mana and back to normal...
[Mana Manipulation]: This...For this one, I'm sorry to the girl, but sacrifices had to be made. All of these skills need mana manipulation way beyond what a normal person should be able to achieve (Not me, I can do it). So I codified my knowledge about mana manipulation and turned it into a [Skill], tied it to the main process in my [System], and presto!
The whole thing will work even if the girl is dumb and never learns how to manipulate mana!
This will make sure the girl stays alive long enough for me to leave, easy.
[Proliferation]: The main culprit of all my problems, all the functions that I couldn't salvage when into a nice package, this thing feeds off the other skills I made, I even had to create a off server (But still within the [Loci]) firewall to make sure the thing didn't infect me or [Mana Manipulation]. This thing is a [Virus] all right, it feeds on mana, propagates itself and repeats add infinitum. The thing seems to be designed to spread...Something.
I can't quite see the full picture since an [Omega Entity] is the one behind this, just like how I can't parse what [S̴̢̭͙͇̦͕̩̼͐́͛͑̿͌͋̾͐̑̽͌a̴̢̨̠͙̗͇̲͇͇̘̪͖̠̮̞̅̓̆͆̏̾̈́̐̔͐̑͝p̶̢̧̘͚̱̜̺͚͇̈͛̀̔͋̈́̋͗̽̚ͅh̵̡̨͙̺̳̞̖͕̜̗͌̅͘ͅi̷͕͇͔̋͆́̐͌̄͂̾̆́́͊̚͜r̷̢̢̨̦̼͍̭̩͉̥̗͕̺̖͑͒̂̓̀̃̃̃̄̊̐̄̈́͂̕é̷̢̗̤̞̤͙̙̘̠͕̖͍͍̭̽͝ ̵̛̯͛̂̔͑͛͐͑̐̑̇́̈́̈͜͝ͅ] says, I will not try to fix it as I did previously, that ended badly for everyone involved, especially [Alexa] and Miriam.
I wasn't that badly affected of course, but that's me we are talking about. End of the world? Mild annoyance......
Anyway, the problem with the [Package] is fixed, the stupid Virus will work as intended as soon as the girl achieves the equivalent of 500 points in [Intelligence] and [Wisdom]. If she focuses fully on magic she should be able to achieve that by level 50 or so.
I left a subroutine that will make sure she gets a point in each stat to make sure there aren't imbalances around, it should turn off as soon as she achieves 50 points in each status. But either way that will not be my problem I should be long gone by that point.
My [Loci] should degrade as soon as this girl gets used to my [Skills], and her [Soulscape] should form using the remains as fuel, but by that point, the [Skill] will be ingrained in her [Soul] so she should be able to live a normal kind of life.
The kind of normal life a [Saintsworths] can live when they carry a [Virus] that will propagate god knows what payload into their home world, but hey... She is a [Saintsworths] if you don't ruin a world here and there...Are you really a [Saintsworth]?
............God I need a drink...Or less sweets, [Alexa] is going again on that Mango party. I should have listened to Miriam when she warned me against encouraging Alexa about the stupid mango cake...
