As I finished my checking transformations I felt a strange bout of magic surround me… I felt a strange call to a patch of grassland inside the forest when I got there a few other creatures were there. Snakes, rabbits, wolves, among a few other things, would everything run if I got there in this state?
I decided to turn into my snake form to proceed without scaring everything away. We were all drawn to this place, we were not leaving soon. Then in a blink of an eye something was gone… I don’t mind all that much… Its odd, this drawing to this place… Then in an instant half of the others were gone. Then a white light surrounded me before I got transported to… a courtyard?
In the courtyard were young humans ranging from about 12 – 16 years with one man who looked about 40. They all wore a blue cloak with an emblem on the upper part near their shoulders, the emblem depicted an ouroboros and was made with yellow thread.
From the man who was 40, I felt a great pressure which was on me in my weakened state and all of the other animals. All of the creatures were in the courtyard and were getting approached by very hesitant humans. This is when it hit me, I realised that I was summoned… That dungeon told me they were going to half kill us… maybe that’s why he was laughing, he didn't tell the truth.
I could not change form because of the pressure the… teacher or maybe the attendant? I don’t know but he seems like he works in this, what looks to be a school.
I was just a small green snake to not cause the fear of the other animals and now I am hardly noticed. The older pupils went for things like wolves and bear cubs while the younger pupils stayed with the bunnies. There were three snakes overall including myself another one was a white and pink colour roughly around my size. The last one was black and red, it was three times the size of me, it could easily ingest half of one of the young humans if it wanted.
Us snakes sat together for we all knew that these people could be potentially dangerous. Then one of the people who was aged around 14 followed by two girls who were around his age came towards us in a fearful, slightly riled manner and the girls hid behind him with a more noticeably scared look.
There was an elf with slightly pink tips on her long white hair like she had dyed it. She had a friendly face and looked to be the sort of person to be easily fooled. The other girl was a human, noticeably shorter than both the others she is with short black hair which swayed off to the right of her face. Last but not least the human boy was just a little smaller than the elf he had blond hair and blue eyes. In short he was a pretty boy, the kind all women swoon over, he didn't have a scar on his body as far as I am concerned.
The boy went over to the black and red snake as soon as he looked at us all. The elf's face lit up as soon as she saw the snake who matched her hair, her face lit up and instantly jumped to it to hug it. The human girl was still shaking, does she not like snakes? Is she afraid I will bite her? What?
Then something odd happened, she regained her composure and bowed to me before holding her hand out and laying it on the ground so I may get up, I presume.

'At least this one is polite'
When I got on her hand she lifted me up. I was literally a centimetre smaller than her hand. We both stared at each other for about 10 seconds before she started to move. She was going towards the teacher?…. Why? I don't like him… As she went towards him I started to face the same way.
When we got to the teacher she had questions
“Sir, are you sure this snake is good enough for a familiar?”
“Hmm?”
The teacher was looking away at the other pupils before looking at the girl with her question and then me. He turned so he could see me better.
“ Hmmm… Yes, the Forest Princess Snake, fast, agile, rare and from what I remember, very egotistical. Please, my girl, do tell how you got her onto your hand.”
“Wait, it's a girl?” She looked at me with a confused expression.
“How did you tell?” She proceeded
“Ha ha, years of expertise my girl, years of expertise.” He said with a slightly proud tone of voice
“Anyway, I just did what you would do to greet a Griffin and bowed politely and gave my hand”
“Hmm… Not needed for snakes not to bite your head off but welcome, I suppose.” He said
“Are you ready my girl?”
The girl nodded, to that the man started chanting while I was in a daze trying to comprehend what he was saying. Not long after came a message
You have been forced into a Familliarship with [Elizabeth GhostPetal III]
Emotions will be shared telepathically with your owner
Familliarship can only be expelled from your owner lethally attacking you.
The girl was a bit disappointed that she did not get to name me. How do I know that you ask? I felt it she was disappointed but did not mind my name all that much though she found it confusing.
The rest finished 10 minutes after we had, the next one who finished was a pale boy who chose a wolf as a familiar. Then it was a girl with a bunny, white with red eyes… An evil creature… Horrible stuff.
Now that everyone had their familiar the owners and ourselves were told to go to the 'testing facility' which was a big building with no windows made from a stone, made in a cube.
Once we were in there we were all put in a room with a window which seemed to be a very hard glass, the window looked out at some training dummies, targets on the wall and large pieces of stone and marble. There was also a basin of water and some braziers full of coal and fire.
The teacher started speaking to explain the situation
“ Now you all have you familiars it is time to test all of you to see which class you would be most fitted to join and at what grade you are at.”
“The potential sages will go into class A and then ranking down from there until class E where you do no more than light a bit on kindling”
Without further ado, he went through the register calling out people's names to be tested, one by one...
