It was around midnight when Chase woke. There wasn't really any reason for it other than his eyes opening. Chase looked at his battery powered alarm clock and was thankful he didnt wake up too early there was still about two hours till sunrise during this time of night our small town had it power out in order to conserve electricity power outages were fairly common where he lived so it was a common practice to turn all electricity off between the hours of 12 A.M. and 5 A.M. so the stars at this time of day were fairly easy to see because there was almost no light pollution at this time of night. Chase opened his window and breathed an the fresh air. Wearing nothing but pants he climbed through the window.

Lying with his back against the slainted roof he could gaze up at the beautiful sea of stars........That is until he saw some unidentified object hurtling towards the other side of town. The light it emmited prevented star gazing but he didnt think it was a threat considsring small meteorites were fairly common these "meteorites" was actual just human space junk so they weren't nearly as harmful actual meteors......Thats what he thought until it got closer.

"Well....sh#t," he said aloud as a big a## Astroid decided to makes it home right in the middle of town.
