I-rangris looked around at all, she spotted a red hexagon and asked, pointing “Doctor, that’s red, what does that mean?”
Hearing this, he turned looking at it, his expression petered out and answered with sadness in hiss voice “that one inside is….. dead….”
“Oh my gosh!” exclaimed I-rangris aghast “dead…. But, why?”
The Doctor was disheartened by learning the result of the living inside “he…. He just couldn’t bare the pain…. So he relinquished his soul to the statue and died.”
The girl didn’t understand this part, she had many questions “surrender to whom? And for what?” was all she could appeal.
Without responding anything to her, Zain moved to his bag, opened it and took out a lengthy white cloth. He paced towards the red hexagon and buried the statue with it. “When all this will be over, you will rest in your bed forever,” prayed the Doctor for his dead patient.
He picked up his bag with his power deactivated, turning everything back to ordinary. He ambled out of the surrounding and said “I-rangris, why don’t you come along with me? I run a hospital of my own plus, there are some survivors too from this incident. Would you love to visit it?”
I-rangris couldn’t react to this, thought scrambled in her head as she seemed to be dazed there with her head sinking. She pondered, “wait, but, how can I go with someone random to an unfamiliar place? He is a stranger to me and I just met him” her thoughts raced “what if he isn’t a reliable person to travel with” she looked at him who was awkwardly staring at her waiting for a response studying him deep his semblance stated otherwise.
“No, he seems kind, loyal and caring just like a father” she was troubled in determining her choice “now what? If I decline and remain back, I would be all alone again and I don’t want that” the idea just crossing her head send shivers down her spine. “And it’s not like I have anywhere else to go. I don’t even know this place…… I just recently entered here. On the contrary, he seems to be intimate with it and isn’t alarmed or even worried but, relaxed standing in such a place filled with living statues and a surrounding such as this.”
Suddenly, her mind went blank from the last thought “living statues?” she looked at her surrounding “there are all living being inside stuck for who knows how long? And they even die there” she turned to the red hexagon, growing somber. “That means will everybody here…..” she couldn’t maintain her train of thoughts. Her mind refused to admit this, and she was worried about the life beings trapped inside the statue and the deceased man.
She voiced out her thoughts “will everybody die in there like this?” she inquired, looking back at the Doctor hoping she get another answer. Perhaps the Doctor has some hope for them.
Zain smiled, replying to stay hopeful for them. As long as the survivors lives with hope they will grasp it and try to hold on.
This sentence surprised the girl as she turned to him speechless.
He stretched out his palm and rested it on her shoulder requesting “come on let’s head back, others will be waiting. I will clear your concerns and questions there. It’s too perilous to linger outside.”
“Right” nodded the girl and both headed on.
The two existences, I-rangris and the Doctor left the wide square, entered the street, strolling by the dead street with shattered mirrors, ruined properties, no trace of road to walk on and mangled trees under the red sky all these created goosebumps within I-rangris and she embraced herself with her arms to calm down.

“Be brave, I-rangris” appeased her the Doctor “don’t panic…. You could be our hope.”
“Ah?” shocked the girl hearing his words, she stared at him trying to take in or interpret what he meant but, he was simply smiling which kind of soothed her.
Taking a right turn, there appeared in an area of vast space with buildings, from the looks of it, it could be identified as a marketplace which was full of exciting goods, with dresses and ornaments, toys and mud pots but, now it was all dead and lost.
Debris all over the place with detritus of wood, mirror fleeted, collapsed houses, cracked ground, ragged clothes lying around, it was evident his was no place for a human being to live. As thou, a destructive weave had released and wiped away the peaceful life with the laughter of children that was the center of this place.
I-rangris halted near a doll that was resting with a smile under rugs, feeling disheartened by the lonely doll who had no one to hug. All she could ask repeatedly was why was she brought here? What was she capable of doing?
The Doctor crossed over some woods that were impeding his path and called “here we are, I-rangris!”
“Co….. coming!” she reacted and was about to pursue when that call was heard again “please…… help me…..” she paused startled, frightened out of her skin that the cry was now so clear and loud.
Before it was a whisper but, now it is a clear sound. And the direction, she turned to the left peering at the long road traveling far in distance “it’s coming from there….” Said the girl inwards.
“I-RANGRIS!!”
“Ah! Coming” she ran to respond the Doctor.
“What’s wrong? Is something troubling you?” he asked, perplexed.
The girl just shook answering, “no, it’s just voices that keep reiterating in my head.”
“It could be winds” responded the Doctor looking around pointing out that the surrounding is full of destructed materials so wind passing by does makes weird sounds.
“I hope it’s that…” nodded I-rangris with a smile, trying to comfort herself.
Zain then supported her get to the alternative side of the woods and announced, stopping near a poor building, “this is the hospital which I mentioned earlier. It will be noisy so try to bear it, okay.”
This confused I-rangris asking herself, “are there lots of survivors?”
The moment he opened the door suddenly, a ball swiped front and presented a direct hit on the Doctor’s face, knocking him out of the hospital on the ground.
“DOC…… DOCTOR!” exclaimed I-rangris in panic.
The poor Doctor sprawling on the floor with a big red spot covering his face.
“Are you alright?” asked the girl confirming the poor man's condition.
“OUCH!” covered the man his face with his palm and sat up “my face hurts….” He stood up flaring “tell me you kids who threw this ball at me?!” he stamped inside.
Accompanied by I-rangris, she got surprised to spot out all kids crowded in the hallway near the entrance. Entering inside, she shut the door and stood behind the Doctor.
In the hallway of the hospital, all children around age 5 to 12 were gathered, everyone were worriedly looking at each other and the Doctor was waiting patiently for the answer “shall I repeat?,..... Who threw that ball?”
All panicked when a child uttered “I did, you got a problem?” a rude speech surged up.
“Hino…” called Zain but, the boy turned away, leaving the hall into one of the rooms rejecting the elders call.
All the kids watched this and whispered among themselves, “he’s so bad isn’t he?”
“Yeah” responded another child.
“Maybe he doesn’t listen to his Mother too or maybe he is a bad boy!”
CLAP!
CLAP!
CLAP!
The Doctor clapped thrice, grabbing all the children’s debate, “now now children….. that’s enough. Talking bad about others isn’t a good behavior. If anybody continues like this, they will be grounded.” He announced talking in a childish way to make it easy for the kids to understand and listen to him. It was obvious that the children here were all familiar with the Doctor and the same was he with them.
“Sorry!” all apologized at once.
On the other hand, I-rangris was watching everyone with a smile, all the adorable kids, delicate and charming types but, there was something odd to notice in all.
All the survivors inside this building had two colored hairs.
Yes! Two
Some little girls had pink and red hairs, some had strawberry and lipsticks color, some boys had green and yellow, other little fellows had brown and light brown hairs. Compared to all, even Doctor Zain had two tinted hairs which weren’t detected due to the dull atmosphere outside. Purple and blue hairs.
