Reasoning about the matter, she asked her suspicion “but, Doctor there’s something puzzling me. You mentioned the citizens’ powers were dispelled. Further, the adults were turned into statues but what about you? Why weren’t you afflicted? I beg your pardon” proposing this question kind of embarrassed the girl thinking that he would consider that she doesn’t believe him and loaded her head with uncertainties about his motives behind all this.
The Doctor unexpectedly giggled at the question. He began to admire the style this simple girl was observing the facts and events around her and clearing herself with it, creating delight in the speaker that she was attending. “I was not going to include myself in the matter but, since you proposed… I have no issue with responding,” he coughed a little and described himself.
Zain was a soldier before being a private Doctor. His rank in the soldiers was not simple. He introduced himself as a chief officer of an army and the typical right hand of the Captain Knight. There was someone else now. He explained his reason for retiring was because of the citizens’ need for him. He said to her that his place among the soldiers was necessary but wasn’t solid enough as it was with the citizens.
They required his pen more than his sword and shield and because of this, he left with permission.
When the disaster struck, Zain managed to seal his power within his soul and held it until the pandemic would get settled down. It was even unpredictable for him to discover that his power on doctoring was intact thankfully within him.
“To seal a power is a profession among soldiers” he marked this point for her, filled in esteem that he knew. Yet though he, been the sole pole standing for the survivors, he hid this from the remaining citizens so as not to appear like an odd person amidst them and maintain their confidence in them, it didn’t matter if their powers shattered or remained half, just bearing in prospect was the prime priority for the living here.
“I think a time will occur when it will be required to show the power among all the victims…” smiled the Doctor helplessly.
But, in response, I-rangris said, “before that arises I wish everything returns to ordinary” encouraging the Doctor to have hope for a good turn was all this simple girl could utter.
Zain only remained silent.
As the glass was still full of fresh juice, small bubbles cropped up in it.

“Bubbles?” thought the girl.
Suddenly, the entire building shuddered horribly. The lights swayed, tables dropped to the ground and windows rattled. All the children screamed, shrieked, and cried loudly in horror, running here and there.
I-rangris caught the arm of the chair while the earthquake was occurring, shaking everything. She asked “wha…… wha… eh” the shake was rising with dirt tumbling from the ceiling and lights flickering “what’s happening?”
“An earthquake!” shouted the Doctor while sitting on the ground “it’s a dangerous one! Stay in your place!”
“What about the kids?!” appealed the girl, worried for them “we must!” she struggled standing but, repeatedly collapsed on the chair.
“Hold yourself!” commanded Zain.
The quake was heavy that she couldn’t stay on her feet for a second.
Compared to the young girl, the Doctor was strong. No doubt, he was a soldier before and had the strength to resist disastrous quakes. “I will go and see them!” rose up the Doctor holding the wall. “Remain here, I-rangris” he ordered the girl and stamped outside carefully evading any fall.
He, as a Doctor knew that once an individual tumbles to the ground during an earthquake he/she would go mental and incapable to stand back due to the impact penetrating the brain which could result in paralyzing of the victim’s leg. This could also send the victims in mental condition. It was critical.
As he got out of the office, he grew depressed to find the children screaming loud and high in fear. No one to support their little hearts and no one to care about their emotions. Those little adorable children were all alone by themselves suffering. “I must get to them!” he struggled (tackled, competed) further during the quake.
When he took a step forward abruptly, the bookshelf broke up its one leg.
By the dreadful earthquake, it leaned down collapsing, heading to take two little siblings holding each other under its trap of death.
“NO!!” shouted Doctor Zain, sprinting ahead.
CRUSH!
THUMP!
A loud crash resounded throughout the entire building. All the children, including I-rangris heard it “what was that?” she asked in fear.
“Ah!” she slumped back again when the final shake was over.
Everything dipped in dead silence.
I-rangris almost passed out on the chair due to the quake, however, luckily her eyes opened and she sat up looking around “it’s…… t’s so silent” said the girl inwards.
“DOCTOR!” occurred a loud, frightful yelp from behind the door.
The girl got back on her feet, quivering in hesitation yet, she gathered her strength and ran out towards the main hall. “AH!” her heart skipped a beat to discover a terrible scene.
All the children were wailing, some, some were shuddering. Among them two small kids were sitting in the middle of the room, gripping each other, trembling in fear. Near them was the sort of all mercy.
“DOCTOR!!” yelled I-rangris running towards him.
He lay on the ground as the large shelf covered him. Luckily, it wasn’t over his body, which would result in turning him into a mince of meat, it was resting on his legs which were trapped under the shelf.
I-rangris got to him, shook him, calling “Sir….. sir wake up…. sir” she shook him several times but, there was no response.
