It’s because I’m a demon lord! And one of the seven deadly sins on top of that! Aren’t I supposed to be doing bad things like whacking people on the head?!

…sigh…I can’t even get excited because of this ‘sloth’ like body of mine.

Well, do you know why I’m so excited right now?! The black puppy dog…butler…like…thingy just called me a freaking ‘Demon Lord’! Can you even believe it?! A bona fide ‘Demon Lord’ in the flesh!

What? You think it’s not that big of a deal? Haah…you guys just don’t enjoy life, do you? What, you knit scarves for your grandkids or something? What’s that? You don’t even have grandkids? ...I kind of petty you, you know.

“Uh…can you repeat that?”

“Yes, my master. You are the great demon lord of the ‘Abyss of Dementia’, a realm in which all demons and demi-species coexist with one another.”

See! I told you, didn’t I? But why is it dementia? Isn’t dementia supposed to be some kind of psychological disorder?

For some reason, I’ve got a very clear idea of all these words, where did I even learn them? I can’t even think straight!

First, I need to get a little rest. I can think of everything else later.

I faced the puppy demon, what was his name again? Ah! Lucifer, right?

“Lucifer…I need to …get some rest.” Right after I said his name, a broad smile formed on his face, and he got up as fast as he could, he placed his hand on his chest and slightly bowed his head.

“Certainly, my master. We’ve prepared a splendid bed chamber for you to relax freely.”

All the others who were still kneeling there got up and slowly bowed at me.

Next, It was Beelzebub who spoke up, “It would be an honor if you would allow us to escort you, my master.”

I slowly arose from where I was lying down, and for some reason, the white cloth I was covering myself with was just sticking to me. I held one end of it and slightly pulled it, and it wouldn’t come off, and I could see something like threads attached to it.

Aren’t these threads connected to my body? Is it coming from my body itself? Haah…I’ll think about that later. Stuff like this isn’t really surprising right now.

I was standing on a soft cushion that was placed on the ground. I lifted my right foot and slowly placed It on the floor. I could feel the cold floor underneath my feet.

I turned my head to check if the little bird and spider were alright, they were both standing on my right shoulder as if they owned the place. I smiled slightly at the sight and turned to the six of the seven deadly sins in front of me and nodded slightly.

All six of them moved to either side and made a path for me in the middle. I walked slowly toward the enormous door in front of me, it was wide open.

I entered the other side of the door and found at least about fifty maids bowing their heads towards me. There were girls of all different ages among them, and since I was too tired, I tried to ignore them.

But I could feel someone’s eyes on me. I stopped in the middle of the hallway and turned toward the little girl who was staring right at me with sparkling eyes as if she were admiring a beautiful flower.

Once Lucifer, who was standing to my right noticed the girl who was looking at me,

“How dare you?!” A loud booming voice ran across the silent hall. “How dare you stare at my master without his permission? You impertinent little girl?!”

The girl stood there petrified with terror and was trembling in her boots, as a tremendous amount of bloodlust was directed at her from Lucifer.

I raised my hand to stop him, and the bloodlust around him dissipated at once. Once the danger had been everted, tears started flowing down from the girl’s eyes, and she lost her balance and was about to fall on the ground.

I instantly moved from where I was standing and caught her before she could fall. I lifted her and held her in my arms. Woah! Aren’t I like totally fast right now? I might even be able to break the sound barrier if I’m this fast right?

I looked at the girl in my hands, she stopped crying and now had a dumbfounded look. Well… I guess it can’t be helped…I mean…even I’d be dumbfounded if someone were to do something that absurd in front of me!

Ones she noticed me looking at her, she quickly turned away and started blushing, her cute little bunny ears went completely red. That’s right! She had bunny ears! Isn’t that just adorable?! Hehehe…oops, I might just lose my cool if this keeps up!

“Why…were you looking at me?” ones I asked that question, she lifted her head slightly and looked into my eyes.

“Ah…um…t-that’s…be-because you looked so pr-pretty, master!” The girl flinched a bit and then averted her eyes.

“I…see!” I held my hand to my mouth and started chuckling a bit, and the little bunny turned her head to look at me.

I gave her a gentle smile, “Thank you!” Her red bunny ears started twitching and her whole face turned bright red from embarrassment.

But wait…why is there such a small girl working here anyway? They can’t be understaffed, can they? Does this place have a low population rate or something?

I turned towards Lucifer, “Why are there…little kids working here?”

Lucifer looked at an old woman who was standing among the maids and nodded at her, she then stepped towards me and bowed lightly,

“My name is Emma, and I’m the head maid of the castle, my master. It is said that the demon lords of the past had peculiar interests when it came to choosing their partners for their night duties. Most of the young women here have been trained accordingly, my lord.”

Huh? Wait…what? They’ve been trained?! What the heck does that mean? Are you telling me that kids have been training for that kind of stuff?

I could feel my blood boiling, underneath my skin, it felt like my whole body was heating up from the anger. I bit my lip as hard as I could, I clenched my fist tightly, and I could feel my sharp nails piercing through my skin. Blood started dripping from my lips and hands.

The people around me froze on their feet. Each and everyone in the hall could feel thousands of eyes filled with bloodlust, peering at them, and the ground around them started shaking vigorously.

“Ma-master!” I could hear Lyssas’ trembling voice from behind me, I came back to my senses at once, and I could feel myself emitting a powerful aura, everyone around me was petrified and unable to move due to the tremendous red aura that was emitting from my body.

I calmed down as fast as I could, the people around me fell to the ground one after another, most of them shivering from the pressure they got hit with.

I glanced at everyone around me sitting on the floor, trembling from the fear they felt. I looked at the girl with bunny ears, her whole body shivering uncontrollably, tears flowing from her eyes.

No! ...what in the? Did I just… I bit my lips even harder; I could feel my long, sharp canines penetrating my soft lips. I couldn’t think of anything else; I was struck with an indescribable amount of guilt and fear I’d never felt before.

I took a step back and looked at everyone around me with a panicked look. The bunny girl noticed my expression and tried smiling at me, even though her face was completely drenched in tears.

I gritted my teeth from the remorse I felt and pulled down the cloth I had on my head to cover my face. When I was about to climb the stairs to go to my room,

“M-master!” this time, it was Freya who called out to me. “Would you like me to take you to your room, my master?”

I stopped dead in my tracks and an awkward silence fell between us, What the hell was I even thinking? I don’t even know anything about this place! Augh! This is so awkward!!!

I silently nodded without looking at her, my ears tinged with a slight red from the embarrassment. Freya was frantically freaking out over what she just said, waving her hands in front of her face which was as red as a tomato.

I started climbing the stairs and she silently followed me. The both of us were completely silent till we reached my room, I turned my head towards her and thanked her with a slight nod.

“Thank…you” She raised her head slightly and desperately waved her hands in an attempt to hide her beet-red face.

“It was nothing master and... please don't feel bad about what just happened. We are all delighted to have a master who cares about us so much.” She bowed her head gently while holding her hands to her chest.

“Please have a good night my master” She turned quietly and walked away as quickly as she could.

...sigh... I guess I made them worry about me...

I entered the room, closed the door softly, and jumped on the bed face down while stretching my whole body and black wings. It felt so good stretching my whole body, every bone felt so cramped.

…it was a hectic day today, wasn’t it? Haaaah …I hope that bunny girl’s doing okay… while all kinds of thoughts and guilt at what I had done were flowing through my head, I dozed off slowly from all the fatigue and exhaustion of the day.
