Chapter 0
I really didn’t understand why we were doing this, but meh, who knows this could all turn out to be something important to us a couple years down the line. That whole memory building thing.
Then again, I’ve always thought that a wedding should be done how the two parties involved envisioned it. Not this stupid distorted image that our relatives wanted. We weren’t some stupid spectacle for them to feast their eyes on. But then again…
They were the ones paying for it. And while I knew that I definitely didn’t need rose gold silverware, in a few years nothing says I can’t sell it to fatten our pockets and use it for when we end up expecting. Plus it might not hurt to indulge a little bit in the rich life, especially when you were using someone else's money that they freely gave to do as you please with. Who knows when the next opportunity to splurge like this would come.
Though maybe, just maybe, I should stop worrying about the waste of time that’s been this month and focus a little more on finishing the current task at hand.
“Hey babe. I know its really cute when you space out and all that, but could you please move your perfect butt forward. We have an appointment in ten and it takes that long to walk there from here.”
Instantly my mind clears. Yes listen to the missus. Follow what my to-be-wife wants to do. Gladly. (*Note this is not sarcasm. Real shocker, especially coming from me. But yes this woman is definetely the love of my life and annoyance at the wedding aside, I can’t wait to legally make this woman mine. I know she feels the same but it’d be nice to have the recognition from the rest of society agreeing that she’s mine and only mine.)
I would have probably continued on that streak of how lucky I am and how much I can’t wait for the future to come, that is I didn’t just feel a reverberating thud coming straight from my ass all the way up my spine.

“Yes! I understand! Forward march! Your wish is forever my command Princess! Your brave knight shall now lead the way forward onto the street!” I then followed the action by swiftly grabbing her hand and leading our way across the street right before the street light turned green.
Of course I did make a note that her wonderful brown eyes narrowed a little. I might have gone a little bit too far with the last comment but can’t take it back now. God damn time, why must you only move forward! Then again… she’s also looking kinda hot right now. Damn my brain, why does she so easily make it sway?
I blame her beauty. Of course thankfully, in my perspective, it was not the ‘classical’ kind of beauty. Her kind of beauty fit perfectly to what I loved about her. Her beauty came from inside. Her kindness in the actions she took to show just how much she cared for me. The small smile that graced her lips whenever I managed to make her feel just a little bit of amusement. The way light played in what she dubbed ‘poop brown’ but to me that I found more depth and levels that made me fall more and more in love every time I stared into them.
Shit. Fuck. Damn.
I really loved this woman.
Like why the hell am I bothering with all this stupid shit to go through a wedding that neither of us really picture when we think of ourselves? Why do we have to make this stupid appointment for a damn florist that's going to charge more than three times what the normally would for the same exact flowers just because it's for a fucking wedding?
Why?
Just why?
Because fucking hell, I’d probably do even worse things if it made everyone accept us getting together. I seriously want this to work out and I’m going to do my damn worst to make sure that this all works out.
Of course thinking about this now, I should probably stop overthinking things. Especially when I’m trying to cross the street. This can be dangerous. Particularly when you’re in a city that can’t seem to realize that other people exist beyond themselves.
So yeah, it might not come as a surprise at this point but yeah, due to some a little higher chance cause of stupid ass people, a truck came out of ‘nowhere’ (at least from my spaced out perspective because I never saw it turn the corner) and hit us.
