“Such much to do with so little understanding…” John mumbled to himself as he went to look at the requirements and building selections. As John was opening the building selection on the blueprint screen, a synthetic neutral voice came from nowhere, startling John a bit: “Hazard shelter, connected. Retrieving information and implementing the blueprint, according to Article 614 of the Factory SI Guide”.
John, who was startled by the sound, looked around confused for a while before he looked at the blueprint again and noticed a line going down from the core. Following the line leading downward, oh, the line looked like a thick cable, and scrolling down for a while, only then did a huge sphere come into view of the screen—yes, the screen that John made next to the 3D blueprint.
The sphere seemed to be filled with holes, but the inner wall was completely intact. This surprised John first, before he noticed a sort of liquid was at the bottom, between the outer wall and inner wall. “This liquid must be somehow related; I'll ask VAS for help, but first, let's check the storage.”. John then went and examined the sphere more.
As the sphere became transparent, what came to view were five sections. The center was a small room with a table in the middle of the floor, and surrounding the room were four sections. Only two sections seemed to be different, as they had rooms inside, while the other two had just a door. Between the sections was a hall that separated them.

One of the sections with rooms was like a resting area; there were a few rooms with multiple beds and a bathroom attached to them. As for the second section, there was only one room. In this room, there was a sort of pod at the center, and a computer was tight beside it. John could only make out what things were through the shapes of the rooms, like shadows, in a 3D form.
As John was looking at the pod, he recalled something from the backlog. The guy who snicked into the shelter before leaving later. Taking note of this on a virtual screen, John went and looked for the storage but couldn't find it. The only thing close to storage he could find was a big, bare, empty room at the resting area. Also, John thought of trying to find a video feed, but unlike the factory, he had no way of seeing things other than solid objects fixed in place.
At this time, VAS voice came in as a ball of light appeared next to John, firing off his report. "I went and started doing examinations on the shelter and gained a bit of knowledge. This shelter doesn't possess a SI drive, a Sentient Intelligence drive. Only a nanny AI, but this AI is really basic. It is only designed to care for a baby, teach nothing more than etiquette and basic things like how to walk, and be a social stimulator for children so they can learn how to speak. Also, the AI only knows of a reader headset within the storage. Which would help?"
"Okay, VAS, I get it! Can't you just make a report like usual? You are talking too fast!"
