After mulling for a while, John included a long needle-like extension from the cable before having the girl throw the cable head point straight at an unused port.
It successfully linked and held on to the surge of energy, creating a few sparks first before showing any more reaction. John sighed in relief as he sent nanothreads to the device after receiving no errors from the device. Other than that, the device is just a bit way from breakpoint, and everything else seemed alright. “Using fifty percent of our power, we succeeded barely. Now to rest for a bit first.”
