Issac, in glee, sarcastically shouted after her “ Hey! Be careful, I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself.”
Not even turning back she flipped him off as she leaped over to the next house heading up the mountain, climbing the cascading houses, she yelled back.
“ Foda-se, idiot who cares what you have to say.”
“ HAHAHAHAH, what a mouthy little one isn’t she.”
Blocking out the sun with one hand Issac held the other one across his back as he watched as Lucy continued to run up the houses and at the same time getting further and further away. Nodding to himself Issac crouched down with one of his legs stretched out beside him stretching.
Looking back towards Lucy he noticed that by now she had already traveled over a distance of fifty meters, getting smaller and smaller in the distance as she parkoured through the massive urban jungle that was Rio.
Putting his hand on his back Isaacs stretched his back backwards smirking towards the sky as he answered the unspoken question to no one.
“This should be a great appetizer HAHAHAHA……….. I think I’ll giver her ten more minutes.''

After about an hour of chasing after Lucy Issac finally found himself in front of her as she gasped for air while leaning onto the chimney of an abandoned factory. Smiling to himself Issac thought back to the chase, about how she ran through the maze of the houses trying to lose him through the twists and turns of the city, sometimes running down onto the ground and a couple of times even rushing into crowds of people or cars to try to shake him off.
And each and every time he was able to show up behind her just as she thought that she had lost him.
Each time that Issac caught up to her he would make sure to make his footsteps noticeable while making sure to walk into her line of sight, always with a large smile on his face and his hands clasped behind his back. And each time he made sure to give her just enough time to escape and begin the chase all over again.
Looking her over Issac nodded in approval over how resourceful she was, knowing the city inside and out, understanding how to lose people as well as a basic understanding of covering her tracks.
All of this just proved to Issac that she was not normal, even as someone living on the streets a child should not have had the strength or the energy to do what she did.
Issac was broken out of his thoughts as Lucy started screaming out in frustration. “Porra, what do you want, just leave me alone !” Frowning, Issac reached over faster than Lucy could react and slapped her upside her head. “ Watch what you say little one, cursing all the time isn't good for children your age, you could learn to develop bad habits.”
“Shut up, you're not my parent. I can say whatever I want.” Rubbing her head, Lucy looked up at Issac in anger and yelled out “ And stop calling me Little one! that's not my name, just call me Lucy then that’s way better than little one, Porro !”

Swatting her again Issac said “ Your right I am not your parent but you are smaller than me which means what I say goes, whether it's what I call you or controlling what you say.”
Placing his hand under his elbow Issac rubbed his chin in contemplation. “ Which got me thinking, how do you know English, unless your parents are immigrants, someone your age should barely know how to even speak Portuguese.”
Placing both of her hands on her head as if they would protect her from his hand Lucy spoke out. “ I don't have any parents, I was left in an orphanage since I was born.”
Bringing her hands down Lucy plot herself on the roof tiles with her arms crossed in anger. “ I learned how to speak and write Portuguese early over there.” Seeming to remember some bad memories she turned away her head from Issac and continued talking.
“ After they saw how smart I was, the matrons wanted me to go to some fancy boarding school so that they could get famous for sending some gutter child to such a good school, while the other kids got really mean.”
Noticing that this might take a while, Issac sat on the roof tile tucking his legs underneath him while listening to her story. “ I never wanted any of that, I didn't want them to hate me , I didn't want to be forced to leave just to go to some school, I didn’t want for my friends to hate me”
Wiping a few tears she stuttered out “ I— I -I—I just— wanted–to...” Before Issac cut her off
“ To be free, right.” Reaching over Issac wiped the tears from her under her eyes using his thumb. “ That's all you wanted right, to be free of the feelings and weight of responsibilities from others around you.”
“ Yeah, anyway after I ran away I stayed by the airport for a while, usually you can get pity from tourists and since most of them cant speak even simple spanish I had to learn other languages” Holding up four fingers she said “ I know four languages not counting portuguese, one of them is english”
Standing up Lucy turned to face Issac “ Now why won’t you leave me alone.”
“ Oh that, that is easy, see I am new to Rio and am in desperate need of someone as smart and as talented as you to help me find out some information.” Looking at Lucy’s face Issac saw that she didn't seem to be convinced by his reason.
“Look I am here on business, and my particular business has led me to Brazil to find someone who works in my same wheelhouse of expertise, however I am unable to find him, and I am so lost that I am having to ask a child for help,so.” Standing up Issac gave his best pleading look as he held out his hand. “ Won't you be a dear and help out someone in desperate need.”
Staring at his hand for a solid few minutes Lucy finally came to a conclusion. She reached out and tightly gripped his hand.
“ Okay but you better be sure that's it, normal people don't ask help from those that steal from them, so if you want me to steal something for you then you can forget it because I only steal for myself and when I absolutely have to.”
Taking a moment to shake her hand, Issac stopped and looked up at the position of the sun and said “ Well you can't have a discussion over an empty stomach so how about we get a late lunch and talk over that, but first let's get down from here okay.”
Not even waiting for response, Issac grabbed hold of Lucy, having her sit in his arms. Issac jumped off the roof. Catching hold of the windows with his free hand Issac was able to bring the both of them down without any injury.
Still holding Lucy Issa crook of walking back into central Rio heading towards where the most people seemed to have been.
“ What do you think about getting a hamburger, little one ?”
“ Fine, whatever , just put me down, and stop calling me Little one !”
“ Now, Now that is no excuse to scream into someone's ear, come let's go get some wonderful food.”
“ I said to put me down !”
