"Bubble bubble!" Lera said rapidly, her body turning through the air right as the boy's body turned into a beam of energy and clashed into her. She was thrown back by the impact, though able to break her fall through instantaneous activation and recreation a much smaller Cast Array which filled up her own slice of the battlefield.
"Void Dom-" Lera immediately activated her strongest Cast, knowing that there were no time to waste right. Strangely so, not all of Wu's squad members were on the same page, or rather, worried to the same extent about how many other squads were eying for their demise.
From Lera's perspective, to minimise their chances of facing off against multiple squads at the same time, they needed to take care each and every one of their opponents as quickly as possible.
But knowing Fatera, she probably wanted to face all of their opponents at the same time.
Focusing back on the battle at hand, Lera was about to completely envelop the entire battlefield in her Void Domain when the boy crashed straight into her body with blinding speed, knocking her back onto the ground. However, the Cast was already activated, and the dark aura of the Void Domain filled the entire region, and expectedly, it failed to penetrate through the spaces that separated the individual slices of battlefields.
Because of the way her Cast Array was set up, Lera could only make the Void Domain be projected straight up, rather than at any specific angle. Thus, the range of her version of Void Domain was then limited by how her Cast Array was distributed through the space. If the Cast Array itself was limited, then so would her Void Domain projected within.
"Where...where did he go..." Lera murmured as she looked around. After running her over, the boy must have gone straight past her, but...there was nobody behind her, nor in front.
In fact, there were nobody at all. Lera scanned through her connections with the Cast Array itself, and there was also nothing. That was when a strange warmth heated up the front of her chest, and she looked down to see a miniature version of the boy, his entire body glowing with energy before rapidly growing in size, pushing Lera in the breasts and shoving her onto the ground.
He was suffocatingly close, and when Lera went ahead to create her Bubble bubble, he managed to stay on the inside of the bubble like the tiny nuisance he had now become.
"Get...get away from me! You pervert!" Lera said, trying to swap him away, but he simply flew around her hands while keeping as close to her body as possible. Then, his entire body came the shape of a blade, and it slashed Lera on the arm, causing blood to stream down its side.
As the droplets of red stained the earth, the boy's confidence voices filled Lera's ears, "We had seen this weird Cast of yours before, and for any of you to still be able to use your Wave abilities inside, you must have counters of some sort on you..."
Then, the shadow of the boy's tiny body appeared over Lera's face, "Once I get close enough to you, then there are nothing you can do."
"Is that so?" Lera smiled, her fingers twirling and turning off the Anti-Void domain Cast embedded onto the last page of her Book of Casts. The bitter chill of the Void Domain once again flooded her entire body as she actively suppressed the flow of the Wave within her body in response. The boy's expressions shifted, and he started breathing heavier and heavier as flashes of light pulsated from within his body.
Then, his image flickered, and he was forcibly thrown back into the original shape of his body before he dropped onto the ground, his body which can be turned into pure Wave now nothing more than a vessel of flesh and bone.
"No more tricks." Lera smirked, "For either of us."
"Then you are nothing more than a girl!" The boy shouted, looking down at his powerless hand, "I was recruited by Nana himself because I can manifest my own body as a sword! I myself...am a weapon!"
Then, he lunged towards Lera, his hands outreached and ready to claw pieces of Lera's flesh out. However, she grabbed onto his wrist, twisting her body and planting her foot firmly in between the boy's legs before throwing him over her shoulder and slamming his thin frame into the ground!
"What?!" The boy cursed as he rebounded off the ground. However, before he could react further, Lera dropped into a lunge and further threw him against the boundary of her battlefield slice before he bounced onto the ground. The boy growled with animistic killer intent, but Lera quickly avoided his direct attack, countering by throwing him onto the ground again.

"What...what is this?! Aren't you just a normal girl?!" The boy shouted, kipping up before Lera knocked him in the throat with a horizontal strike, "How...are you doing all of this?!"
"What?" Lera smiled, standing up and dropping her hands to the side, "It surprises you that much that a girl can fight?"
When you lived with Fatera and Ver for long enough, you eventually have to pick up some close quarter combat skills, or they are just going to wrestle everything away from her. Plus, she had learnt plenty of fighting skills when training with Joseph and Jolyne back home.
Lera's no competition against either of them under normal circumstances, but when the Void Domain acted as the great equalizer, she wanted to be able to step up to the plate no matter who she is facing.
Plus, Wu seemed to be really really into girls with muscles, evident by his recent...night time activities.
"Achoo!" Wu sneezed loudly, a snot rocket flying out of his nose onto the ground before he shivered slightly, "What the heck...Who are you even?"
"We are the Disciples of the Swords." The little girl with bangs hanging over her eyes replied, "Lead by Nana Kata, we have the tall and strong Wave Sword Caster Leila, the short and quick dagger Cast user Peta, the living Sword Manifester Rez, and me. The sassy loli, Kei."
"Oh..." Wu cocked his head back before looking around at the stilled image of the forest, "And what's the deal with...those."
"It's to secure one on one match ups between our squad and yours." Kei replied, her bangs waving in front as she widened her stance and drew her blade, "We have ensured that each of our matchups are tactically advantageous, and that's why I will be facing you."
Then, Kei moved, her tiny body curving through the air like an arrow with a semi-transparent blade in her hand. Wu half-stepped back, his eyes focused when the single blade suddenly appeared to split into two, then four, and then eight...
"What the heck is this?!" Wu chuckled nervously, blasting himself straight back before creating a shield Cast of his very own. Kei's attacks rammed straight through layers of the shields as bright flashes of light temporarily blinded Wu, forcing him to squint.
However, during that moment of weakness, Wu had heard the rapid footsteps of Kei's as she stepped forward, the glowing thin blade hissing through the air and ready to cut him down.
"Crater-maker~" Wu murmured, crossing his arms in front of him before a massive orb of Wave suddenly appeared in front of his body. It blasted forward, slamming into the body of Kei's blades and forcing her back as it exploded right in front of her face.
"Tsk!" Kei cursed, the impact blowing back her hair and revealing the dark lines around her furious eyes. With the blade redrawn, Kei spun around and charged towards Wu once again, her body close to the ground and feet rapidly spinning underneath her tiny body as she created more duplicates of her sword, extending her reach rapidly and catching Wu off-guard.
"Void Domain Laser!" Wu said, equally as quick before he swiped the darkened line of Void Domain horizontally across, clashing against the extensions of Kei's shorter blade. The two long beams collided into one another, and Wu's Void Domain Laser won out easily.
As Kei's duplicates clattered to the ground and vanished into thin air, returning as strands of Wave lines, Wu then swiped the Void Domain Laser straight across Kei's body, hoping to disorient her own Wave usage. However, she tracked the movement of the dark beam through even the dangling black bangs, parrying against it by cross the blade over.
"You can't block all of it." Wu murmured, expanding the radius of the laser itself, reducing its intensity but increasing its effective area as Kei stumbled back. She felt for the tension over her body as the internal flow of the Wave became disrupted, and she started moving faster and faster, making the aiming of Wu's laser a lot harder than before.
Knowing that this was no longer a sustainable strategy, Wu then charged forward towards Kei, his Void Domain held at the ready as the distance between the two closed. However, Kei read Wu's intentions clearly, and she hopped back nimbly, keeping the distance between them.
"We know your tricks! We have done our research!" Kei said, bouncing off the branch of a tree and slashing horizontally across as duplicated rained down onto Wu. He snapped his finger, flickering the Void Domain and destroying the ranged attacks.
"Not all the tricks." Wu said, instead marching slowly towards Kei as he stored up Wave within his suit. Then, he let it all out in a full-powered Void Domain, filling the entirety of the battlefield. Kei's eyes shot open, and she shut down the flow of the Wave within her body correspondingly before she stood in a guarded position.
She watched Wu closely, knowing that all it takes to counter his strange Cast is to shut down the use of the Wave within her body. However, a massive blast of Wave suddenly slammed her from above, an explosion nearly knocking her out as blood streamed down from her head.
"What...what is this?!" She cursed, her body dropping as she pinned her sword onto the ground before swinging it frantically around her. However, the blasts continued to hit her from all the different directions, bombarding her defenseless body now that the protections from the Wave is completely gone.
"A new trick~" Wu said, snapping his finger before another blast whizzed around through the air and hit Kei right in the back of the head, knocking her out cleanly, "Homing missiles with anti-Void domain Cast embedded within it...now, how's that for a ultimate move?"
