The next morning, Gamble and Akira wake up earlier than usual. "Alright, time to get ready. Akira, go grab some potions. Money is on the table," says Gamble, packing his backpack. Akira replies, taking the money from the table, "Alright, I'll be back in about 10 minutes." "I'll give you 9 minutes," says Gamble with a wicked grin. "You wish," responds Akira as he exits. When Akira leaves, Gamble starts looking for his shield. Instead of finding the shield, he comes across a picture of himself, his mother, and his grandfather. From the back, Gamble hears, "Oh, such a sweet kid." Startled, Gamble jumps and exclaims, "BEAR!..." realizing it's Giene. "Sorry if I startled you," Giene calmly says. "Don't sneak up on people from behind," continues the still frightened Gamble. Giene barely holds back laughter, and Gamble turns completely red. As Kaido descends, rubbing her eyes, she greets everyone with a yawn, "Good morning, everyone." "Is that my teddy bear?" Gamble asks. "Oh, my apologies, but I found it in the room, and Kaido liked it," Giene apologizes, bowing. "No need to apologize... I was just curious," responds Gamble, feeling embarrassed. "By the way, have you seen my shield? I've been looking for it and can't find it," Gamble says, scanning the house. Giene replies, "I'm not sure, but I think I saw it, maybe in the attic." "Alright, thanks. I'll go get it," and Gamble runs upstairs, patting Kaido on the head on the way. In the attic, Gamble realizes he hasn't been there since buying the house, and it mainly served as storage for useless stuff. "Darn," he mutters, scratching his head. "If there was a spell like 'Shield, come to me' or something..." He stops midsentence as a shield appears on his left arm. Fascinated, Gamble rushes downstairs but accidentally falls on the stairs. "I... wasn't ready for some things..." Akira looks at Gamble lying face down near the stairs. Akira stares at Gamble, who gazes back with embarrassment. Kaido looks puzzled and asks, "What happened?" "Nothing," replies the sore Gamble. When Giene enters the house, she sees Gamble in this situation and reacts like Akira but can't contain the first wave of laughter. Gamble gets up, dusts himself off, and when Akira asks, "Did you want to say something?" Gamble contemplates for a moment and replies, "I forgot." A couple of hours later, Akira and Gamble are heading to the magical items and materials store. While walking, they spot a group of kids playing. One boy is sitting and just observing. Akira, without hesitation, approaches the boy, asking, "Why aren't you playing with them?" The boy replies, "Because I can't do magic." Akira looks surprised and mutters to himself, "Oh, that's unfortunate... maybe his parents dislike magic or something." Akira gets a brilliant idea and yells to Gamble, "Come here!" After explaining everything to Gamble, he contemplates how to explain magic to the child so that he can join the game. Akira has another idea. "Give me your hand," he tells the boy. The boy extends his hand to Akira, who creates a small flame above it. "Now, try to relax and transfer a bit of your mana into your hand," he says, stepping back. The boy tries for about two minutes until the flame grows but extinguishes shortly after. "I did it! Did you see, sir?" the excited boy exclaims. Akira laughs, "See, nothing difficult." The group of children is amazed, and a curious girl asks, "Are you a magician?" Akira responds, "I'm more of a magical swordsman." "What's the difference?" one of the boys asks. Now, Gamble chimes in, "A swordsman who fights with both a sword and magic on the front lines." Upon hearing this, each child becomes excited. "Can you teach us something?" the whole group asks. "Unfortunately, I can't. I'm a bit busy," says Akira, trying to sound convincing. However, when Gamble sees the disappointment on their faces, he turns to Akira and says, "Teach them something. I'll go get our things." Akira almost immediately says, "Forget what I said. I can stay for a while." When Gamble walks away, he tells Akira, "And hand over the money." Akira hands over the money, and Gamble says to the kids, "Wait here for 5 minutes. I'll go get someone else for fun." Later, Gamble arrives at the store, greets the shopkeeper, and looks around. After a short search, the shopkeeper approaches and asks, "Could I help you with something?" Gamble replies, "Yes, I'm looking for small bags that are very spacious... wait, what are they called?" "Cabinets?" the shopkeeper suggests. "Oh, yes, cabinets. Do you have two here?" Gamble asks happily. "Unfortunately, we have only one left," the shopkeeper replies. "Well, I'll take one. Also, is there a good clothing store around here?" Gamble inquires. We switch back to Akira, who, with five kids and Kaido, tests their basic mana. Izuku has wind, Sakura has lightning, Mark has earth, Karl has water, and Kaido has light. "A rare element because it doesn't belong to the main branch of elements," explains Akira. "And what are the main ones?" Mark asks. "Fire, earth, wind, water, nature. These are the elements we're most commonly born with, so they're called the main ones. But in reality, there are four primary ones: fire, earth, wind, and water. Fire and wind are for destruction, while water and earth are for creation. I hope you understand," Akira says. As the kids ponder this, Akira interrupts, clapping his hands, and says, "Alright, now I'll teach you some cool tricks," with a smile. After a full day, Akira and Kaido return, and it's evident that Kido had a great time. "I guess it was a good idea," Gamble remarks from the kitchen. "Maybe... let them enjoy their childhood while they can," Akira replies, taking off his shoes. Gamble asks Kaido, "So, Kaido, how was your day?" Kaido begins to respond, but Gamble notices that she has already fallen asleep on the couch. "Ugh, Akira, will you..." Gamble looks at Akira and realizes that he, too, has fallen asleep. "He's supposed to be an adult, and the kids tired him out?" Gamble mutters to himself as he starts to smell the burning meat in the pan.
