The conversation is interrupted by Akira, who throws a wooden kunai at Gamble's head. "SHUT UP, I CAN'T SLEEP, IDIOT!" he shouts drowsily, after which his head hits the table. Then a large bear explodes in smoke, and sleepy Giene emerges from it. "Good morning," says Giene, yawning. Gamble asks, "What's happening here?" Giene then explains, "After you fainted again, they examined him and took him home, and Akira suggested that I stay for a while until I find a home." Gamble, shocked, tries to understand, but Kaido intercepts him. Kaido asks, "Is it true that the wolf-guy doesn't threaten us anymore?" with a hint of sadness on his face. Gamble replies, "Of course," puffing his chest out and starting to speak in a heroic tone. "A little incident like that is nothing to me. But, what I was saying, is that a picket fence is nothing compa-" Akira, using his wind magic, interrupts him, causing Gamble to fall, doing a somersault, with a visibly irritated expression on his face. Suddenly, Kaido starts laughing, Giene giggles slightly, and Akira, surprised, opens his eyes and asks, "Huh? Did I oversleep again?" After an hour or so, Gamble asks Giene, "Could you finish what you were telling me in the hospital?" "But what exactly?" she responds with surprise. "About Kaido. I need to know a lot about someone I'm going to take care of," Gamble says, looking out the window onto the clearing. "Ahh, is that what you mean," Giene replies. Maybe, to start, reveal what half-humans are. Half-humans are a species of people mixed with some extinct species of animals, like foxes or squirrels. We also mature faster; we reach adulthood at the age of 13, not like yours at 16. Our bodies change faster into adult half-humans; for example, at the age of 10, Kaido will start looking like your teenager. We can also transform into animals, like we transform into bears. And in our physical development, our minds also grow, so falling in love with a 12-year-old half-human is like falling in love with a teenager. Gamble looks at Giene and asks with disgust, "Am I some kind of pervert?" Suddenly, Akira starts laughing and says through laughter, "Well, this is interesting, Garrett." "Get lost, womanizer," says Gamble, blushing. "Alright, alright, Mr. Shield, calm down," she continues to laugh. "Anything else, Miss Giene?" he asks again. Giene solemnly replies, "Yes." Her father is the king of the half-human lands, but... Gamble, worried, asks, "But?" Giene answers, slightly angry and sad at the same time, "He's manipulated by I don't know who." Gamble replies, "So, we need to take him down?" Giene says, "No-" doesn't finish as Akira, satisfied, listens to her, "WHO TO BEAT? A FIGHT? ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT WIT-" Suddenly, Gamble says, "OH, DAMN, IS THAT A HORDE OF MOUSE-KNIGHTS ATTACKING CIVILIANS?! GO SAVE THEM, AKIRA!" he shouts with fake fear. Akira exclaims, "WHERE! I'M GOING TO DEFEAT THEM, BE RIGHT BACK!" Gamble sighs and says to Giene, "Continue." Giene continues, "In short, when he found out that Kaido had the ability I mentioned, he wanted to sell her. I opposed, so he threw us out of the city. Here, a local took care of us, but my husband's messenger started harassing us until his wolf bloodlust kicked in. He killed Hira first, and the next day, Kaido's brother. On the same day, he tried to kill Kido by burning her in a building full of half-humans, but others managed to escape. Only Kido was locked in a room, so she couldn't escape. After you saved her, he couldn't take it anymore and went to throw her into the field where Dark Wolves roam at night." Gamble responds in shock, "N-no, their field is not far from here. Good thing I hunt them for extra income." Giene comments, "That's why you live so close to them." Gamble responds with a light laugh. Giene adds, "I wanted to thank you. I don't know how to repay you." Gamble, embarrassed, says, "But there's nothing to-" He stops and, after a moment of contemplation, says, "I have an idea," with a smile. Giene, with determination in her eyes, responds, "I'm listening." Gamble scratches his head and says, "Let Miss Giene take care of this house in my absence." Giene, after a moment of thought, responds, "If that's how I'll repay you, then I will." Bows. "But I'll serve you in the house even when you come back or move," Giene adds. Gamble replies, somewhat embarrassed, "Alright." Adds in his thoughts, "WHY ARE WOMEN SO STUBBORN?" Suddenly, the entrance door opens with full force, and you can hear Akira, who is frustrated, saying, "Garrett Gamble... today you'll pay for your sins," pointing at him with his sword, which changes shape from Akira's decorative sword into a heroic sword. "Sins?... I AM INNOCENT!" says a frightened Gamble, after which Akira rushes to Gamble and tries to strike him with the sword, but Gamble quickly blocks with a shield. Terrified Kaido falls from the couch and asks, "What did you do to Mr. Akira?" Gamble jumps away from Akira but trips over Akira's scarf. "Any last words... Shield Satan?" says Akira, directing the sword towards the fallen and frightened Gamble. Gamble, though frightened, quickly gets up from the ground and avoids Akira's next attack to defend himself from the impending attack. Seeing that Gamble is still standing, Akira says softly but decisively, "You can't escape, Gamble. You have to face the consequences of your actions." His eyes sparkled with determination, and his muscles were tense, ready for the next attack. Gamble, trying to stay calm, says, "Akira, let's talk... I still have some curry, we'll eat and forget about it." His voice trembled slightly with emotions, but he tried to sound convincing. Meanwhile, Kaido, terrified and disoriented, still observed helplessly what was happening. Her heart was beating so loudly that she could almost hear its beats. In her head, there was only one question: what happened between Gamble and Akira? In this atmosphere of tension and uncertainty, everyone in the house kept to the side, holding their breath, watching what would happen. Every move, every word, seemed to have meaning in this moment of uncertainty. Akira speaks the words, "There's no escape, Gamble. You must stand and admit to your deeds." His tone was firm, and his gaze merciless. In his eyes burned anger, and his hand gripped the sword tightly, ready for another attack. Gamble knew he had to find a way to unravel this situation and prove his innocence. Various scenarios circulated in his mind, but he had to act quickly before the situation spiraled out of control. The actions are interrupted by Giene, who hits Akira and Gamble on the head with her claws, shouting at them, "HOW OLD ARE YOU TWO? BEHAVE!" Akira and Gamble change their behavior, both becoming afraid of Giene.
