Red Planet was the largest company in Hell, it dominated almost all the personalised vehicles markets, it also sale all kinds of products from food to military weapons. However, the most essential branch department of Red Planet's industries was the House of Energy. The House of Energy's main task was to transfer human souls into energy via a process that inflicted pains on the souls and extract the emotion energies when the soul was put into the Fusion Furnace.
As usual, Mary hopped happily towards the front gate of the gigantic House of Energy's main building, that contains the circular Fusion Furnace. Although the whole building was shaped like a huge donut, its walls and windows were well designed at angles that reflect light at different directions, making this structure like a sparkling star in the ocean of buildings. It is very interesting how energy was transmitted in Hell: unlike the human world, the atmosphere in Hell was far less dense and contains much smaller molecules than oxygen and carbon dioxide , this allows much better transmission of light. So energy is transmitted around the world via strong laser beams that was projected from the largest ray focuser in the centre of House of Energy then reflected among the layers.
"Intern number 16006111, Mary Jingo, Infernal Institute of Technology." said the electric gate as Mary entered the plant. The inner structure was even more stunning than its massive outer shell, elevators puzzled between the floors like a bowl of spaghetti slammed onto the wall.
"DoF" Marry muttered to herself, within a second the structure map of the building was uploaded into her chip, "that'll be a long way up there."
The centre of the House of Energy was the Fusion Furnace, the largest furnace ever built in Hell. It was surrounded by endless coils of wires and cooling pipes. Mary was never bored at studying this engineering masterpiece on her way to work. She often wondered how the people back then manage to come up with such an unimaginable idea to harvest energy from something that couldn't even be counted as existing. She was already 40 floors above the ground floor, she looked down from the glass elevator and enjoyed the view of the busy plant.

"Mr Satan."
"Yes? Is it about Article 13?"
Satan, the title equivalent to the 'President' in the human world. A new Satan was elected every 5 years by the whole of Hell. Hell had really low requirements for a Satan candidate, no need for any political background, any experience in governing, or any age limit. You just need the support of more than 60% of the support of a single layer out of the 500 layers of Hell. In the record of the democratic Hell history, there were more than 15 Satans who were just some random guy a year before the election. The youngest Satan, who held the record of becoming the Satan at the age of 15(well, he was a cyborg with an quantum brain that had the ability to calculate probability to the extent that he was able to predict several major events in the period).

The current Satan just arrived to this position last year. Although he was just a worker in the food industry, but over 89% of the population of Hell supported his innovative policies.
"I'm pretty sure it's going to be passed sooner or later," the Satan put down his pens on the table . He had quite an interesting appearance, to be simple, imagine an octopus with iron tentacles, "our energy supply simply won't be able to keep up with the current energy consumptions."
Opposite of his desk, was a cyborg who could be described as a bundle of plastic pipes, he typed onto the virtual keypad in front of him, "indeed Mr Satan, the energy consumption rate had increased by 200% since the introduction of portals."
The Satan crawled out of his seat and looked out of the huge glass window down at the city, "with the passing of Article 13, humans will be invited to Hell to..."
"To help us obtain more souls," the cyborg replied quickly.
"Thanks Jack," the huge spherical eyes of the Satan bent down to show that he was happy, "that's the right word for the job."
"You are welcome Mr Satan," the cyborg let out a low pitched laugh, "now let's start plan 2."

Department of Resources was one of the least crowded rooms in the House of Energy, this is partly due to the fact that most members of this department had specialised qualifications that was reasonably hard to achieve. Mary, who held her qualification card(this was one of the few places in Hell where you need to present a physical qualification) from 2 years ago stepped into the long empty hallway.
"Hi there!" Jelly appeared from nowhere, "thank me for forcing you to apply for the qualification test."
"Sure whatever," Mary looked around the department, it was a room with a reasonable size, but what stood out the most were the walls. They had a liquid like texture as if the whole room was going to melt any second.
"What's our task today?"
"As usual," Jelly said happily, she took out a weird looking box and showed it to Mary, "do you remember how to use this?"
Mary focused her eyes on the long, black box, then she grinned evilly, "of course!"
Jelly giggled, "then let's get going."
The two female devils walked closely together towards the wall, the moment as their body made contact with the wall, rings of wave like features appeared along the wall, and their bodies started to merge with the fluid on the wall. The next second, they were gone.
