I huffed and puffed as I went next to Aakash, he was still taken aback and I was tired of kicking Aashik, Ashwin was still at it though.

"You alright?" I asked him as I leaned on the wall next to him.

He nodded, but I was still unsure if he truly was alright. He seemed taken aback. He promptly went to Ashwin and held his chest making Ashwin stop the beating.

"That's enough," he said, Ashwin opened his mouth to protest but I quickly shook my head which he caught sight of and shut his mouth.

"Do you think it is ok?" he asked as he squatted down, me and Ashwin unclear on who the question was pointed to just looked at each other feeling a bit uneasy.

I opened my mouth to state my mind when Aakash hit Aashik in the head once more, I quickly closed my mouth a little frightened as the door suddenly shook catching all our attention.

All of us stared at the door when from the door came a voice, "Who is in there?", it was the school janitor outside.

We all could feel ourselves getting tense, I slowly moved to the door as I wet my lips, I opened it and the angry janitor caught sight of us.

"What do you kids think you are doing?" he asked as I looked back at the boys scared, soon the janitor looked down and found Aashik lying on the floor bloodied and battered.

The janitor let out a big sigh before telling us "Go out and play somewhere else" prompting me to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Let's get going," said Aakash as he walked past the janitor with me in tow.

"Take him with you too," said the janitor turning our heads.

We looked at each other uncomfortable when Aashik came to it and stood up and left.

"He looks perfectly fine damnit" muttered Ashwin to which I could not help but agree.

I turned around only to find Aakash far away walking toward the class, I rushed to catch up to him as did Ashwin.

The bell rang as we entered the class, and the students started rushing in as I sat on my seat.

I saw Farhan rushing to his class which was right next to us and couldn't help but smile.

Soon the teacher came in and started teaching.

Vanshika was nowhere to be seen and soon in came Aashik, he had cleaned up all the blood, but there were still stains on his shirt which showed plain as day that something had gone down.

The teacher chose to ignore it to our relief. He went to his seat and was about to sit down when Aakash pulled his chair leading Aashik to fall and the whole class to laugh.

The teacher shouted at the class to calm down as he went on with his teaching.

Time passed and before I knew it, it was lunchtime.

I was on my way to Aakash when Farhan entered the room with his lunch. "Wasssup?" he greeted as he smiled at me to which I smiled in acknowledgement.

We all moved the benches near Aakash's and arranged them into a circle, Farhan sat next to Aakash and me.

We started to chow down on our lunches as we shared it with each other when from the door came Timothy, "Yall started eating without me?" he asked loudly as he made his way to us, and all of us burst out laughing.

He swiftly made his way towards Aashik to check out his lunch which we all had forgotten when he said "Bro, check this out this fucker got paneer butter masala and chapati"

All our eyes went wide in excitement and we all rushed to eat his lunch, and before you know it we had all finished his lunch in seconds.

"That was fucking good," said Aakash as he made his way back to the seats with two of our friends agreeing, I searched for Vanshika but I still could not find her anywhere.

I saw Aashik leave the classroom as I chowed down on my lunch as I was starving.

"Are you free after school?" asked Farhan making me blush a little at the thought of having a date which was soon made fun of by our friends making us turn tomato red.

Aakash seemed to be in a foul mood which downed my mood too but it was alright, I told Farhan that I was indeed free after school and got excited about what to expect.

The lunch hour ended and before I knew it the school had ended too and I was out of the school building and to the gates where stood Farhan waiting for me.

I was so excited the whole day, I didn't know how I spent my time at all, "I got plans with Farhan, catch you later" I told Aakash as I half-jogged to Farhan filled with excitement when I passed Vanshika.

I came to a stop and turned around to find her avoiding my gaze, but I couldn't care any less though I was curious as to where she was the whole time.

I turned around once more and saw Farhan waving to me by the gate and pranced to hug him.

"So cringe get a room" laughed a guy as we both blushed.

I quickly turned to Farhan all excited about our date as we made our way to the parking area.

"So, where are we going?" I asked with stars in my eyes to which he replied "Tis a secret" and gave me a shy smile.

Oh, he was so cute! I just could not get enough of him whatsoever!

I got on my bike and so did he and off we went on a date.

I followed him on my bike, and the silence and awkwardness persisted us.

We were still a new couple so flowers were blooming everywhere for us, Oh how excited I am!!!
