I was back in the sanctuary of my own home, lying in bed took top priority. No landlords, no kids, no strange hot busty weirdos, I could be at peace for the afternoon. That is until, the get together tonight, but I could put it all behind me for the time being.
“Birdette”
I muttered along with a sigh.
I was excited to see what she would wear. My mind raced with all kinds of thoughts, her curvaceous body in a skintight turtleneck with all black slides… I shook the thought off, just as the fantasy was getting juicy. That woman seemed to ruin the mood once again. This Veronica was quite the menace, she was even ruining good men’s fantasies.
Such a darling face and voluptuous shape, even her damn feet were pretty cute, albeit those damn slides.
Such appalling taste for an appalling woman.
I sat down and covered my face with my hands in shame. To think of that behemoth over my beautiful goddess Birdette. To have fallen so low, I thought. Their personalities couldn’t have been any more opposite. One was an angel who was a heavenly figure to all, and the other bought knock off handbags to sell to weakly pawnshop owners. You could say that one seemed more than a little rough around the edges. She drove me crazy with that outrageous accent that she put on display.
On the outside, she seemed like a delicate flower, like she could break or fly away at any instance. Once she opened her mouth though, that went right out the window. She was most likely the one breaking you. I had hoped to never see her again, so I just laid back and let myself drift off into a wonderful imaginative narrative.
I regret to inform you that I will not be going into explicit details of said fantasy, and how it might have involved a pawnshop back room and two busty blondes doing my bidding with nothing else but aprons on. I sullied many a good person, but Birdette's purity in my mind was as dirty as my middle school thoughts about Mrs. Hilton, my seventh grade art teacher.

With all impurities gone, I looked over the New York Giants alarm clock, which was a going away gift from Greg. The clock read just after 6:30 pm. The get together was supposed to be at 10 pm, so I thought, why not take a nap, my eyes were feeling heavy. No point in going out exhausted, especially after the day I’d had today.
I closed my eye and attempted to drift off, but that strange woman with the black umbrella stalked my thoughts, she kept appearing every time I closed them. I tried once again, but that god forsaken pair of slides with her cute little toes wriggling out the tip of them kept appearing. Along with the words 232. They kept appearing as a suggestion in my head. Her voice rang clearly thought out my head. Apparently, I had been more daze by her than I initially thought.
I sat up in bed and felt that my mouth was extremely dry, due to the loss of fluids.
so, I got up and walked over to the mini fridge to grab a soda. I rolled my neck around, gripping the can of soda in my hands
As I rolled my neck and opened my eyes to turn to see the street view from my window; My gaze was caught on the half open window, blowing in the ‘fresh’ air from outside. I could have sworn that window was closed and letting all the AC out wasn’t my idea of pinching pennies.
My focus drew me towards the window. I walked ever so slowly to close it. That was when I saw it. My soda can fell onto my big toe causing me to flinch in pain away from the window.
“fucking ass” I yelped out trying to open my eyes, to see what had caught my attention in the first place. Shaking off the pain as fast as I could, I set my sights on the streetlamp just across the street. There was just no fucking way, I thought.
I must have been going crazy, or I was as I thought, extremely exhausted. I was no longer parched after the pain subsided. I shut the window, not letting that pissy breeze in. I even drew the drawstring that I never used.
I fell back onto the bed, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling I had.
“There’s no way” I mumbled to myself. Yeah, There was no way I saw that black umbrella with golden hair flowing from underneath. I finally caught myself drifting, chuckling at how crazy that thought just was.
There was no way she was actually out there.
