Chapter 5: Preparation and Practice
After Harry woke up in the morning, he felt very hungry, so he went for breakfast.
"I have been in this world for only two days, and now my soul and body are synchronized with each other. I seem to be getting hungrier. It seems like the more you use magic, the more tired and hungry your body becomes. Because I've been practicing magic all day, I'm getting hungrier. That explains why there are fewer fat wizards. Only those who either don't practice magic or use it infrequently tend to gain weight. It's good to know. So when I'm practicing magic, I'll have to manage my food intake."
Harry returned to his room and decided to pick up where he left off the previous day. "I can levitate a toothpick and make it dance in the air, so if I can also levitate a silver needle, it could be used as an attack. Imagine being in the middle of an attack, and suddenly a silver needle comes at you, goes into your eyes, or enters your mouth or ear. That would cause significant damage. If the speed of the needle is high enough, it could even penetrate the head."
Harry started practicing levitating silver needles. It was more challenging than levitating a toothpick. After some time, he could only levitate the silver needle for a few moments.
"Wingardium Leviosa is a first-year spell, and technically, this is the third-year Harry Potter's body. That's probably why this spell is becoming easier," Harry thought.

For the needle attack to be effective, it needed to hit the target. Harry drew a target on a nearby wall and practiced levitating the needle and directing it towards the target. However, the needle went in a completely different direction. After several more attempts, Harry realized it was far more difficult than it looked. He concluded that it would take months of practice for it to work effectively. He decided to practice this every day from now on. "Let's rest for a few minutes," he thought.
After resting, Harry prepared for the other things he needed to do. Suddenly, Dobby popped up and said, "Great wizard Harry Potter, Dobby has collected all the materials from the list which the great wizard Harry gave Dobby from the black market."
Harry praised Dobby for doing a great job. He realized he had to make the potion today because Hermione and Ron would arrive tomorrow, and they were going to Hogwarts the day after. However, he couldn't make the potion in his room because any reaction might alert others in the inn. He needed to find another place to make the potion.
Harry asked Dobby if he could teleport him somewhere without being noticed. Dobby assured him that he could.
Harry asked Dobby to ensure no one was spying on his room. After a moment, Dobby confirmed that no one was currently spying on him. Harry then told Dobby to teleport him to a different location. Harry held Dobby's hand, and they teleported away.
They arrived at a beach, but Harry told Dobby that an enclosed place would be better for potion making. Dobby then teleported them to an empty house in London.
Upon seeing the house, Harry thought the residents must have been away for some time, as there was a layer of dust on the floor.
Harry took out the materials for the potion and realized that in his excitement, he had forgotten the potion-making instruments. Embarrassed, he looked at Dobby, who was standing eagerly. He asked if Dobby could fetch the instruments. Dobby, ever ready to serve, teleported and brought back the instruments for potion making.
Since some of the materials were difficult to acquire, Harry had only enough for two attempts. He carefully prepared the materials according to the formula:
- 100 milliliters of pure water
- 13 drops of night vanilla liquid
- 7 gold mint leaves
- 3 drops of poison hemlock
- 9 grams of dragon blood grass powder
- 10 milliliters of Lavos Squid’s blood
- 50 grams of Stellar Aqua crystal
