While they were starting to chat in the table, the person on the couch couldn't stop moving as if she was feeling uncomfortable for some reason. She moves her arms around in search of something but there her hands could only pass through air.
Slowing opening her eyes, the girl still was in a half-sleep state while she looked around and found herself in an unfamiliar house.
She couldn't remember how nor why she was there. Her last memory was of giving him a gift and then she passed out. Yet, she could feel something. Something near her, giving the girl a warm feeling in her chest.
But now, it was gone. She couldn't feel him anymore and he was not with her. Just where could he be? An uneasiness started to form in the girl's heart. Did he leave her again? Had she failed? Was she not wanted?
-Chris...where are you? - She mutters in a soft-voice in the hope someone would answer her.
And then, she heard his voice close to where the girl was. She couldn't think straight because of her drowsiness but at least the girl could be at ease.
Couldn't wait anymore, she gets up from the couch and slowly she walks towards the voice, trying not to fall down with her lack of balance.

In the living room, where Chris and his mother were talking, was also their dining room, but with its size, they could distance each other very well. The living was close to the entrance, having a sofa in front of the TV's deck, while the dining was close to the kitchen, with a long table on the other side of the room.
Normally, they would be able to see everything in the living room from the table, but with how they organized the furniture, there was a blind stop for only one person who sits in a seat with their back facing the living. They couldn't see anything from there aside from the kitchen door, and since it was such a rudeness to make them see only that, the chair was moved to somewhere else.
But when he faced his mother, Chris was made to sit in that place for her to watch over him and not allow him to flee. As he was also concentrated in making excuses to his mother about who the girl actually was, Chris couldn't see anything from his surroundings.
Those facts made so that when the girl came from behind, there was nothing he could do to avoid her.

He was there, right in front of her. Even with half-opened eyes, the girl could see him. But he wasn't alone, there was another voice too. A woman's voice. The girl couldn't hear what they were saying, but something was telling her it wasn't a good mood.
Who was she? It didn't matter for the girl. That woman was there, talking with Chris in front of her. Why was this so important for the girl? Something in her chest wasn't feeling good when she thought of that.

It wasn't as powerful as the ones she felt in the past, but there was something tightening in her chest, shrinking a part of her down as if a hand was crushing it. She didn't like it, but she also didn't have any ways to deal with her right now. If only she could summon her scythe, this would be over in the blink of an eye, that is, if she did have any energy left.
Altho, there was one way she saw the others do it one time. It was a situation similar to her, where they couldn't do anything versus the other party with violence but managed to assert their intentions very well.
If the girl used that, just how effective it would be? She smiled after thinking of the results. She keeps moving forward with caution to not alert them, but when she got near enough, that woman giggled and pointed her finger at the girl.
That gesture, just what was it? It looked like it was a simple thing to be made and so insignificant that no one should bother, but it changed something in the girl. That tightening feeling was no longer inside of her. It was transformed into something that made her chest and head feel boiling hot.
From the few feelings she experience, this one the girl knew too well: she was being challenged. That woman was challenging her, just like many others before.
And for that reason, the girl wouldn't waste any efforts into taking the woman head-on.
-Chhhrriiss, I'm soo lonely without you...why did you leave me alone again?
Thankfully, the boy couldn't react very well, allowing the girl to sneak up behind his chair and hug him while speaking with a lovely voice.
-I thought we were doing this together since it was your plan after all. I waited and waited for you to come, but you would never arrive. I was really worried something had happened to you, you know?
The boy couldn't even react and was making a goof face with all she was saying. She couldn't see the woman very well, but the girl needed more, much more to make her pay.
-Remember what we said before to each other? "No matter what happened, we would be always together, in the good and bad times.", was it a lie? Chris, had you...lied to me?
He was already pale from his head like all his energy was drained from him. Did you like that? The girl thought while her vision gradually became more clear, but that woman didn't move an inch from her seat. Still, from how she looked, with her head facing the ground, it appeared to be working.
Time for the final blow.
-And...and...when we kissed...
The woman's body twitches the moment the girl said "kissed" with her teary voice. Without revealing her happiness inside, she continued to act.
-I...for me...that moment was special, you know? For the first...for the first time...I thought...I had found him...I had found the one I love...I had a feeling that...that we could finally be together and nothing would tear us apart! Was that...all a lie for you? After all, we went through...didn't it meant...anything for you?
Game Over for you, the girl almost couldn't contain her grinning after finishing her last line.
As if she couldn't take it anymore, the woman suddenly stood up from her seat. She walked slowly towards the girl like the woman was making sure each of her steps where being heard across the room.
Seen her like that, the girl couldn't help but continue with her act.
-...Hey, Chris, who is this woman?
As for Chris, there was no light left in his eyes. If the girl didn't hear his breathing, she would think he was dead a long time ago.
But even with him like that, the girl didn't stop. She shacked the boy in order to get some response as she keeps asking.
-Hey, just who is she? Could you please tell me who she is? I saw you talking with her, who is she?
Then, as if his voice was giving up all hope for salvation, Chris managed to whisper with the last airs from his lungs:
-......she......is......my......mom......
