A person’s heart is capable of producing short but painfully strong emotions inside it, which

the spirits in the surrounding environment can directly sense. This short and sudden fluctuation might be enough to get their attention for a short span of time but it would ultimately result in the source of those emotions being able to feel the presence of the spirits and maybe being able to communicate on a lower level with them.

Therefore, the type of influence through one’s emotions is typically used by people interested in combat utility by to giving the spirits short and quick commands and utilizing them to function on a micro level to affect the macro world.

A person’s mind is capable of putting one into a continuous state of mind, which will affect our entire being. Our emotional state, our morality, our perception of reality, everything is correlated to one’s mentality.

By inducing or having induced a powerful mentality, which can be both a positive or a negative thing, a living being can regulate all facets of their spiritual being into a different mold.

Imogyeran Ashenwald has developed the mentality of vanity due to the sheer brutality and abstraction of his life.

He has become detached from his world and his worldly desires over the course of time and got into a perpetual spiral of vanity and emptiness.

This very mentality created a powerful and complicated psychological state of mind and heart inside of him, which was the result of countless spirits gathering around him over extended periods of time.

One distinguishing feature of that would be the hallucinations he kept getting during his times of rest.

The concept of controlling ones mentality is typically used by the veterans in this field to study and understand the history of Gaia.

This concept is also used in a modified version for different types of combatants but it is a much harder technique to master than the first method.

Imogyeran himself in his darkest hour has been scrutinized to the point of both an unbelievably deep hole of vanity forming inside his mind as well as an endlessly pouring ocean of water dripping out of his heart through his eyes.

The boy’s constitution has coincidentally gathered the spirits representing desolation and decay and compressed them together around the boy through the extended passing of time.

Through his emotional state he then gathered the spirits representing water around the center of his body and heart and consolidated them into a spiritual familiar.

This spiritual familiar’s appearance and traits in turn were influenced by the image inside of the boy’s mind and the wish inside of his heart.

Imogyeran has formed a desperate wish of having someone give him comfort and protect him from this pain he was feeling. He was wishing for mental stability with his mind and picturing the doll that his ‘friend’ Elise had as the best thing he could find inside his head.

As a result ‘Donmir’ adopted the appearance of a canine.

Had he not been able to picture a concrete form inside his head, ‘Donmir’ wouldn’t have been able to adopt a solid appearance, which can be roughly seen with ‘Yun’, whom he just imagined as a cloud.

Had the child not had an emotional bout in that moment, then the spiritual familiar might have taken months or even years to form on its own, though it would have been very dependent on himself how long it would actually take in that case.

This means, that the initial emotional state as well as the mental constitution of the mind, which serve as one’s starting point in interacting with the spirits, were already very much developed inside Imogyeran as opposed to the vast majority of people in the world, who just started learning about the communication with spirits as well.

Practicality:
