Not far down the same street was the magic shop. From the outside, you could already see display windows on either side of the entrance, filled with all sorts of magical gadgets: wands, staffs, brooms, crystal balls, as well as enchanted weapons like swords and daggers. There were also books, potions, and other rare and strange objects, some shaped like animals, others bearing unknown symbols.
Upon entering, the shop was surrounded by displays filled with countless items, including shelves packed with books and potions.
Not far from the entrance, a man with ancient features was standing behind a wooden table. He had black hair, a few days' beard growth, and sapphire-blue eyes. He wore an elegant robe of black and blue.
With a look of intrigue, he was inspecting a dagger that occasionally emitted small green flashes.
Qin Seo and Tiana approached the man, intending to speak with him.
“My dear friends, could you wait a minute? As you can see, this dagger is somewhat complicated; it will take me a bit to seal its power.”

As he moved his hand in strange patterns, runes formed and entered the dagger.
Taking a cloth inscribed with various markings, he wrapped the dagger and set it aside.
“Thank you for waiting. I am Heims. I have already been informed of your arrival.”
He then took out a small bat-shaped statue and said, “To create your identity certificate, I’ll need a small drop of blood. You just need to insert a finger into the statue’s mouth. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt much.”
As Qin Seo inserted his finger, he felt a slight prick and saw the statue’s eyes light up in red.
“You have no criminal record nor any prior identification, so a new identity will be generated.”
From the bat’s mouth, a card with all his details emerged.
“In some places, you won’t need this certificate, as it’s been registered in the National Security database. Other devices will be able to confirm your identity automatically,” said Heims.
“Old Heims, do you have the item I requested?” asked Tiana.
“Yes, I personally brought it from the Dark Tower,” replied Heims, taking out a fist-sized black box.
“It’s a ring that contains a small dimension inside, where you can store anything non-living,” said Tiana.
Taking the box and handing it to Qin Seo, she said, “I ordered it some time ago, and it will be more useful to you than to me.”
Qin Seo didn’t refuse.
After a few words of farewell, they left the shop and headed toward the reception.
