The jewelry store looked luxurious, with counters where you could see your reflection. They had all kinds of accessories and precious stones, many of which Qin Seo didn’t recognize, although he could discern some familiar ones, like gold and silver.
The shop wasn’t very large, but it was quite crowded with items. You could only walk through a narrow aisle in the middle, and at the end of it, a woman with pointed ears waited patiently, smiling as she sat behind a counter. She wore a silver-colored monocle in one eye, her white hair elegantly styled back in a cascading fashion, and she was dressed in a refined suit that caught Qin Seo’s curiosity.
“Welcome, dear customers. I’m Illefeia. The receptionist has already informed me of your arrival.”
“Tiana is a Platinum member of our pavilion, which grants her certain discounts and benefits. Since she has spoken on your behalf, we will naturally extend the same privileges to you,” Illefeia said kindly, looking at Qin Seo.
“Thank you. I would like to sell these jewels,” Qin Seo said, pulling out a medical kit from his backpack.
Illefeia, slightly puzzled, looked at the kit with curiosity.
Upon opening it, there were all kinds of medical supplies, but what immediately caught the eye was a black box with colorful butterflies that gleamed with a crystalline hue. It had several small drawers and slots in various places, with a golden lock in the center featuring a keyhole. It appeared to be a jewelry box.
Qin Seo placed the box in the center of the counter and shortly after opened it with a key he took from one of the pockets of his backpack. As soon as he opened it, a pleasant music, similar to a lullaby played by an instrument, resonated throughout the store.

By pressing a tab inside the box, Qin Seo stopped the music.
“Please, feel free to inspect it and give me your appraisal,” Qin Seo said calmly.
Stunned, Illefeia said, “Wow... I could never have imagined something like this would come out of a medical kit. Would you mind telling me its origin and where you got this jewelry box?”
“It was a gift from my mother. When she was alive, she told me not to place too much importance on it and not to use it as a keepsake, that the most important things are in the heart, and that when the time came when I needed it, I should use it without any hesitation.”
Nodding in approval, Illefeia began inspecting the box.
It was made of good material and had no scratches. Inside, there were all kinds of jewelry: necklaces, brooches, bracelets, rings, and earrings.
Using a jeweler's loupe, Illefeia began examining them one by one.
Once she finished examining the last piece and placing it back inside the box, she looked up at Qin Seo and said, “They are of good quality and contain no impurities. Some of the alloys are exquisitely embedded by a master jeweler. Many of these accessories will sell for a good price.”
The box itself also contains materials equivalent to the jewelry.
For everything, and applying the discounts of a Platinum member, I could offer you 160.000 Lis, as I would have no trouble selling it.
Next, Qin Seo asked about the exact price of each precious metal. Gold, for example, was worth four times as much as on Earth, silver three times more, sapphire and emerald were valued the same but with a price ten times higher, and ruby was slightly lower with nine times the value.
Illefeia explained that all the jewelry stores in the Magic Lotus pavilions around the world bore her name and that she was only here today to pick up a few things.
She mentioned that for security reasons, the receptionist would handle all operations, and once Qin Seo finished his business here, he would need to return to the reception desk to pay or receive any transactions, objects, or orders.
Since it was his first time in her shop and he was accompanied by a Platinum member, in addition to making a transaction, Illefeia said she would gift him a necklace with magical powers as a token of friendship.
Qin Seo did not refuse.
After exchanging a few courtesies, they said their goodbyes and left the jewelry store.
