Volume 1, Chapter 1: The Day Before the System Integration

There is a place once known by the ancestors of the Original World as the Creator's Abode. It is a place full of secrets so profound that even those who glimpse it cannot comprehend its meaning. The form of the abode shifts over time-sometimes a garden temple, other times a house or a hotel. But now, it takes the shape of a floating library, with countless shelves filled with books drifting around a solitary man at its center.

"Well," he murmured, "the prelude's over."

The man closed the book in his hands and, with a slight gesture, sent it floating back to its place among the shelves.

He let out a sigh. "Even if this book exists, this is still an imaginary world I created."

He closed his eyes. And when he opened them...

He lay asleep in his bed, inside a modest room within an apartment complex. Waking up, he picked up his phone to check the time.

"5 a.m., huh," he murmured quietly. "It's still pretty early."

He sat on the edge of his bed, then stood up, beginning to ready himself for the day.

He left his room and walked through the apartment complex, heading outside.

Softly, he said, "System."

Multiple panels appeared before his face, each displaying information on celestial bodies across the System. Every bit of data on these worlds was thoroughly analyzed and checked by Administrators who managed the System.

"Oh, I haven't told you my name yet," he said to himself. "There are multiple versions of me with different names-maybe a version of me is writing a novel about myself right now."

He laughed and added, "Not that I care about that anyway."

He walked to a park 70 meters away from the apartment complex. He sat on a nearby bench and continued chatting by himself.

"If I am in a novel, I might as well help you understand the System in a general sense," he continued. "The System is a kind of being that manages all existence it envelops. It's like a tool... but I wouldn't call it that. It helps me maintain order across everything."

He paused, "Why do I say 'all existence'? Because 'a universe' or even 'an omniverse' would be too small. The concept of a World isn't what you think it is. Hold on-let me turn this on."

He opened a panel labeled General Translator and turned it on.

"Now that's on, let's get back to it, shall we?" Sebastian grinned. "A 'World' is like Minecraft, where the world is procedurally generated. Just like our universe, which is constantly expanding."

"...And that's the general overview of the System," he said, smiling as he checked his phone.

"It's 6:18. Better get moving." He walked briskly to the bus stop and

waited for the bus to arrive.
