Is this a delay?

Not really. More so just a notice of my currently diverted focus.

As some of the uhm, more astute may have noticed, only the most OBSERVANT of my readers, which I would hope is all of you my intellectually intelligent big brained individuals, it's uh... been 25 days since the last chapter? Oopsy daisy lmao.

Good news! It's currently the longest chapter out of any in the entire story. Beeg.

Bad news! Not really bad news, but you know how the pattern goes. Good, bad, gotta do it right? Currently, I'm making my way through the earlier chapters (1-15ish) and heavily editing through them. Bringing them up to par with my current level of skill, because the earliest chapters are the most important and right now it does not do wonders for my retention. And then after that, breaking up super big chapters that aren't arc finales, into smaller pieces (this means you will get chapter notifications for not actual new chapters, sorry). Like, you know, C34 being 9k words? Lol oops? Just like C35 is about to be like, 11k? Yeahhhhhhh that's not sustainable for my motivation. There's a reason delays always happen when a chapter is like 2x what I promise as the "average" length for a chapter. 💀
