In the group there is some who are parts of the same race or species. The three most enigmatic persons doesn't look alike anything I know from Earth. To describe them they have the height of a kid, are oval shaped plus the head is attached to the torso. They have shiny grayish skin tone with piercing yellow eyes without pupils. To add it up they have arms like tentacles or more like big spaghetti. The three hold staves the same way, it was either a coincidence or they are formed to use it where they come from. In the group they are apart of the others. They discuss by moving their arms since like everyone else, they don't understand foreign languages from other species.
With Blue we arrived at a time of tension, from what I understand they were discussing the order to enter the home of the chief of the green brigade. Entering first is like signing its own death since you will be completely exposed and unprepared.
The other group in the group is much bigger than the previous one, they are 9 and them too are part of the same species. They are were-beast with civilized knowledge. The leader of the group is a muscular were-tiger who wear a a leather and plate armor. His fur is more red than orange, his temper is just like those of a tiger, heated. He is accompanied by a were-pig measuring the same height as Blue but with much more weight with it. He wear a knight armor covering nearly the totality of his body. To top it off, he also hold an enormous shield that is as large as he is and just a little shorter. What a unit to lift everything and to look this composed. His personality is the opposite of the red were-tiger, he calmly talk with his leader.
From the look of it they look close to each other like they know each other from before the arena. They understand themself well and do a great combination. The others on the group are following the strong and are less confident than the other two. They are mostly were-dog or were-wolf, they may have instinctively join them by the effect of the group. It sure was a wise decision to do so if they are so many to survive this nightmare too.
The unaffiliated one is Blue and me, even though we came together we can't consider us a group neither. Blue is in position where he hold his hand to his face just like humans when they try to think of something. He then point his finger to show he had an idea. Since he doesn't have a mouth, he is obligated to manipulate everyone to show us his idea. He place everyone by a different order and then after he finished he let us discuss his plan.

We are 4 at the front because each of us hold a defensive gear. It means I am at the front, just, great. The good part of it is that I'm with the big were-pig accompanied by two of his companion. Just behind there is the warrior so for example we have have Blue, Red, yep i renamed it to Red. They are the biggest group right behind us. Then come the shooters, they either have a bow or a rustic throwing weapon, they are just two. Lastly there is those grey beings at the rear because they placed themselves here. They argue by showing everyone on the group their utility.
One of them place his tentacles on the arm of Blue where there was a lot of scratches. He then gently touch it, letting a warm green light escaping from his hands. When the light stop the wounds completely disappeared from his arm. Everyone is stunned by what's happening, I was not the only one surprised by this. The three of them now heal everyone before going back at the rear.
It is like trading this position for the health of the group. Personally I am now at the maximum of my health so I'm happy with it. I just don't want to be at the front. My shield compared to the three others is ridiculous. Can it even be called a shield? The giant were-pig notices my doubt written on my face. He comes to me and place his enormous hands on my shoulder, with the other hand he does a thumbs-up to cheer me up.
Strangely it's working, I feel that if I'm with him I'll be protected and we can manage something to come out alive from this nightmare.
That's decided, the formation will stay like this until the fight approach. We begin the march in direction of the door to the den. There is skull disposed like decoration from both sides, they are from different species they must've caught before us. I grab tightly my sword and my shield, I can't look back it's too late but I can feel the tensed atmosphere that the group entered in unison.
The were-pig pushes the doors revealing a long corridor leading to the bottom of the den. There is torched lit up from both side, since the corridor is dark some members of the group grab so that we can see what's around us.
The walls are covered with paintings just like prehistorical fresco. The shield takes almost the entire width of the corridor. From time to time I look from gasp to see what's in front of us. I double tap the back of the friendly pig to tell him we arrived at the bottom of the den.
In front of us there is an enormous goblin who's having a feast from what his underlings brought him. His bodyguard are lined up and waiting for us, they hold bows pointing in our direct.
This is now the last battle of this trial.
